After the inspection, I was presented with a quote just under $3,000 that included multiple repairs -- control arms, struts, alignment, and additional fees. I decided to get a second opinion. I took the car to another shop the next morning, and they told me the issue was simply a worn ball joint. They fixed it within a few hours that same day for $465. The car is now driving perfectly. That's a significant difference in both scope and cost. I'm not going to speculate on intent, but I will say this: based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving any major repairs here.

Adam, the personable and highly competent manager, and his team know EXACTLY what they are doing with Europen exotic cars, and they do it with knowledge and care. They always have work completed on time at the very least, but usually ahead of schedule. Adam takes you under your car when on the lift and goes over and shows you all suggested repairs on your vehicle and why the work needs to be done and then gives you the exact price of what it will cost you prior to their starting the job. Owning both my Mercedes and Jag has proven to me that in general the only competent mechanics in my New York State area are at the dealerships where you pay HORRIBLY exhorbitant prices as compared to EUROPEN CAR CARE. Smaller independent repair locations usually just make your problems worse due to their lack of equipment and knowledge. I have also found that EUROPEAN CAR CARE completes your service or repair in a friendlier more honest way than most dealership shops for substantially less cost.
