Sam(Owner) diagnosed me with a bad front differential and suggested I change the transfer case because it caused it. I agreed and he charged me $1700 Next day he called and says it's done. Vehicle is still lifted when I get there and I could see a new red gasket on the front differential and transfer case bolts that hasn't been touched. I told him I didn't believe he changed either part and only installed a gasket. He swore on his kids that he changed them so I paid him. I just recently confirmed that I have the original equipment on the vehicle and nothing was changed except the gasket. Be careful! I want my money!

He knows the community, and after coming here just once I was treated like I was a longtime customer and friend. The place was slammed with business but they still tended to my car in a timely fashion. The insurance company my car's warranty was under was being stubborn about what they'd cover, but Sam went out of his way to find some alternatives that helped cut down a little on my out of pocket costs. Needless to say that was much appreciated! Car repairs can always be a stressful situation, but it went as smooth as it could have here with Sam. My car is purring like a kitten and while I hope it's a long time before I have the need for any repairs again, whenever I do, I'll take it back here!

I went here after stopping at Goodyear a few blocks away. Goodyear told me that because of the location, I would need a new tire. It's terrible how dishonest some repairs shops can be. I was also told my catalytic converters were blocked. They wrote on the receipt, I shouldnt drive, and to have it towed home. Upon picking up my truck, i drove a piece down the road, and turned off my truck, low and behold, the fuel pump wasnt working again. i called Chris who was who i originally spoke with, and told him i was upset, he told me he would have the higher ups call me. well after a few days i called again, and was told the same thing. This has been 3 weeks. They wrote me finally after a review saying i was advised not to drive it. According to them, after they looked at it, i had the same person who put a new fuel pump on, work on it again. This is a false statement, i never said the same person looked at it again, it was taken to different shop. The man at the shop told me there was no repair done to the wiring, as i was told it was corroded. The shop went under and checked the wiring, and found they couldnt have cleaned corrosion, as there would be a shadow remaining. This place told me, not if it was done right. So my next step will be to contact the BBB and let them know about whats going on since they cant return a phone call. Im sure they will again write something on this saying it was my fault. Oh, by the way the 2nd shop pulled the O2 sensors, and put a camera in the catalytic converters, and found no block. My receipt never said what diagnostics were done, this what i originally wanted, a print out to maybe try minor repairs myself. No pictures, no nothing, just what they said. I took them at their word until the same issue happened 10 minutes down the road. The vehicle the first time was towed into their shop, as the fuel pump wasnt working. Great way of doing buissness, to make me forced into writing this review, and contacting the BBB. Do your homework on this place. .

Ask to see all of your used parts and have them show you the new and the old. By law the auto repair shops are supposed to do this, but they don't. You should receive two receipts and a detailed list of charges. Do not allow the mechanics to write anything on your receipt after you have affixed your signature. I have had my cars serviced here at A&S Auto on East Warren a few times. The last car I had serviced was the deal breaker for me. Sam and Al will screw you over to the max. They will make it appear as though they are honest mechanics but they are 100 percent shady. I towed an inoperable 2008 Buick Lacrosse because I did not know why it would not start. I explained this to Al and Sam cause they are mechanics and I am not. I left my key and car there and left. Something I would never do again. A few hours later, I get a call from Al who says I needed a battery, rear alignment, filter, oil change, starter, control arms and he needed $1200 to start the work. I agreed and stopped by to pay the amount. The next day I received a call from Sam who says my car was ready and I needed $1500 and I told him that I was on the way. Approximately 2 minutes away, I get a call from Al who stated that he just discovered that my engine was going bad. So all the work was completed and Al & Sam never turned on the car, cause if they did the issue would've been apparent. I arrive and Sam is soliciting me to have him to do the engine work for $4500.00. I pay the remaining balance cause he charges for.daily storage and I was not going to give him an inoperable car. I drive the vehicle a few blocks away and it cuts off. I called Sam to explain what occurred and he told me that there is nothing he could do and its my responsibility. I disputed the charges and it is still pending and submitted a complaint to the State of Michigan. Al & Sam you two are a piece of shit and got down on me. This place have also put used parts on customer's cars and was called out on it. I have had them repair another car in the past and a few days later, experienced the same issues. I promise every person who reads this, this is genuinely my truth. I make it a habit now of leaving business reviews after this incident. I hope Al and Sam does read this post. You guys are shisters. I do not have to lie about my hard earned money, trust me!
