It happens when you're on a roadie and find out the store you pick IS in the grocery store. I park in the gigantic parking lot, far away from everyone else. You know the products, I got great/fast service from Paisley, and I was back on 80 east in a few minutes. The great folks of Nevada aren't heavy Yelpers and when the do Yelp, they're usually pissed off. I think that's the case here, but my experience was an easy 5 stars for me :)

The person on the phone was very polite and asked me a few questions like what sides. The place was pretty full when I got there, however, I was able to get my food quickly and the weight staff were very jovial and friendly. What we ordered: tri-tip French dip (selected potatoes for side) a chicken ciabatta sandwich (salad with vinaigrette Everything was packaged nicely. The girl asked if I wanted ranch dressing for the potatoes and I thought why not. My wife really loved the chicken sandwich and the flavor of the tri-tip sandwich was really good however I think for $20 , it could've had some more beef in it. There was only one layer about 1 inch thick. But for quality and flavor, it was perfect. The potatoes that came with it or red potatoes that were quite tender and covered in some kind of crumbs. Not quite sure what they were, kinda like toasted Panko. The potatoes were not fried with this, it was just covering all the potatoes. At first, I was not thrilled about this, but as I started eating them... I became a fan! That's the only way I could describe the breadcrumbs/topping on the potatoes lol. We enjoyed our picnic up in the mountains, partially due to the great food we took with from here

I saw good reviews and decided to stop in for breakfast while on a work trip, and was surprised to find that every single thing about my visit was perfect. Location is convenient, just off Idaho Street in Elko, but parking was easy. Inside of the restaurant is clean and stylish, and very welcoming, as were all of the waitresses. Service was exceptionally fast and friendly, the coffee was fresh and hot. They technically don't have a traditional breakfast type plate on the menu, most of their items seem to be more like breakfast sandwiches or wraps, but the waitress was quick to let me know that they would be happy to make a normal breakfast plate. It's hard to pick a favorite part because both the breakfast potatoes and the raspberry jam we're probably the best I've ever had. I expected the jam to come out in the usual disposable plastic tub, but instead it came out and appeared to be homemade. If they sold it I would have bought some of that on the side to go. Potatoes had just the right amount of savory crunch on the outside, but were soft and creamy on the inside. When I lived in the area before I felt like there never were any great breakfast options in Elko, but I can definitely say that this place will not disappoint. I'll be back for sure!

The dough maker, whom I believe was named Aliza (apologies if I have the name wrong), was there preparing fresh dough, which was wonderful to see. The Beef with Cabbage pastry was flavorful and especially enjoyable with their homemade "Hot & Spicy" sauce. While I would have preferred the pastry dough to be a bit crispier, I purchased it after hours and was still very pleased with the quality and taste. Overall, it was a delightful surprise and a very enjoyable experience. I also picked up one Chocolate Brownie with walnuts and a slice of their homemade Carrot cake. I had the carrot cake and it was outstanding! Fresh, flavorful, and loaded with carrots and walnuts, it was everything a great carrot cake should be. I've enjoyed desserts at five-star restaurants and have family members that easily ranks among the best bakers and this cake was delicious!!! Every mouthful was pure deliciousness, and my taste buds were extremely happy. I would gladly order it again!

Next our server gave us a warm welcome and helped make decisions that involved a food sensitivity. And I haven't even got to the yummy food yet. My husband had the smaller of the two complete American breakfasts offered and it was quite a generous portion. A highlight was the sausage patties. I chose the half and half Benedict which was perfect because I couldn't decide between the two. I selected that one while still looking at the yelp app in my hotel room and it did not disappoint! Each half was huge. And the presentation was beautiful too. Wish I'd taken a picture! A specialty of Dreez' is the chili infused hash browns. They were great and full of flavor and had a delightful mouth feel. A bit of light crispy and just enough creaminess from the cheese and cream in them for balance. Though our super sweet and friendly server did tastefully warn against having them four days in a row for comfort sake, they were not overly spicy. Great flavors!
