Somehow our small little rural town thought it needed three different Starbucks locations! However, this location is the most easily accessible. With one Starbucks being inside a casino, and the other in a grocery store, this location is the only one with a drive thru, and it's the only one on Door Dash. Because of that, it's the busiest one in town as well, but everyone is fast and friendly inside! I've never had a problem and if they've ever gotten an order wrong they fixed it immediately and with apologies. Picking up door dashes here is always easy and painless. The staff makes sure Door Dash orders are made in a timely fashion! The parking lot is a bit insane because of the drive thru line wrapping around, so be prepared to do some quick maneuvering, and to maybe wait to get out of the drive thru. Stopped here for a quick coffee and pastry before hitting the road to Salt Lake City. I got my coffee before I got my pastry, which was odd... they weren't warming it up or anything. So I asked about it and they said someone is getting it for me, waited a few more minutes and almost walked back up to ask the same girl, she finally went to go grab it herself. I like Starbucks but they can't seem to get our orders right the last few times. I like a dry, twice toasted, crispy plain bagel. Warm bagels just don't satisfy me. Not sure if that's possible. Also have received the wrong tea twice now as well. I like my tea, black, hot and plain with 1 teabag. I think I am using the correct words when I order but I either get an iced tea or a fancy with milk and sweet tea hot. Of course it's not until after I am on my way that I am disappointed. Everytime I come here my order is wrong. They can't even make their basic drinks with no customization. I ordered a pecan oatmilk latte. That automatically comes with cold foam on top. They didn't add my cold foam and honestly it tastes like crap. I don't know what we have to do to get good service around here. read more

I went through the drive-thru to get my mobile order and the guy was so rude and unprofessional. I understand that the employees don't want to work today since it's a holiday but they don't need to be so unbelievably RUDE! There were 2 men working the window. One of which has been there for at least 6 years or more. Both men were apparently unhappy about working a holiday so they were taking it out on their customers. At least to me anyway. I sure hope a manager sees this post and discusses this issue with their employees!! read more

They are at least consistent. But coffee is over roasted and burnt. Fine if you just need caffeine or like sugar. But not high tier coffee.

For my particular order, when I want coffee in the morning, Starbucks is the place I choose to go to daily in Elko. I normally order a 3 shot latte 16 ounce. It's less than any of the other places in town plus I can use my phone to pay for coffee and build to my next free $15 coffee ;). The food here has been just fine and up to Starbucks standards. It is convenient to the freeway so if you are working on a tight schedule going through Elko...this really can't be beat for speed. I always walk in and they are always friendly, I've never done the drive through so I can't comment on that experience. I've liked the few breakfast sandwiches I have gotten as well. And if you really want a nice treat...try the creme brulee nuts! read more

Yes, there's a real Starbucks way out here in the middle of nowhere Nevada in Elko. I guess once past Reno on the 80, Elko is the next bigger town you get to ..... Winnemucca sure doen't count! I always go in and get just regular coffee, needed a pick me up on this long drive ... at least the speed limit is freakin 80 mph! That keep you awake too. Service was fine, order coffee and pay money, what more do you want. I didn't have time to lounge around and sit on the internet, but I do think you can do that here. Friendly staff that kept busy and good seating. So close to the highway and has a drive-they so pretty busy customer stream. The mango dragon fruit was as expected (good). Bathroom sick looks like someone with grimes hands used it, hard to tell how temporary that is once they come to clean. The restroom does not stink but it has bad, stale smell that some air circulating and some fresher would really help. read more

This Starbucks is near my work so I end up here a lot! I usually do online orders to earn stars and go through the drive thru to pick up. It always looks like someone new but for so many most are pretty friendly. My drinks are always made correct which is nice! If you ever want to order the kid sizes I do suggest to sticking online. I went through the drive thru and tried ordering the kids lemonade and got charged the regular tall price. So for specialty things order online more accuracy. Even though right now it is currently unavailable Duke to Covid. There is also a nice size patio area for seating. All of their drinks that they make have tasted really great. This is a solid spot for a quick cuppa on the way through Elko. The gas station next door is always cheapest in town and there's a supermarket in the parking lot for extra snacks. I've only ever been here when I drive through the area and they still remember me. From what I can tell, they do that for everyone. The drinks are quick and well made, like a Starbucks should be. Have you ever been on a road trip and needed to get a caffeine fix, but when you checked your Starbucks app it told you that the nearest store was 101 miles away? Yeah, I hadn't either, until I was driving across Nevada, so I was glad to see the little highway signs saying that there was one in Elko (yes, approximately 100 miles from where I checked), and the bonus was that this is a drive-through and there is a gas station next door. This may become my "standard" stop in Elko for those reasons alone. For my particular experience, service was prompt enough, and the drive-through guy was helpful enough to say that they could make me a holiday spice flat white even though it was officially off of the menu. I was perfectly happy with my experience here. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would.. placed a mobile order at 7:24 walked in about 7:30 and one of my 3 drinks was ready already I had to order another drink a kids hot chocolate that alone took 10 min. There are 3 people working and for about 5 min not one of them was making drinks. I'm still waiting on two more drinks and it is 7:44 so my coffee is sitting there getting cold. I've been sitting here this whole time and only now do they tell me they ran out of one of my drinks. read more

I guess I have been spoiled with the high standards of the Starbucks locations in salt lake city. I have never been inside this location (I've only used the drive thru). The woman who took my order in the drive thru, seemed annoyed and frustrated. I ordered: Venti decaf coconut milk latte: This is a basic coffee to make. It is extremely frustrating when they "forget" to make it with decaf (I can't drink caffeine due to a heart condition). I asked the cashier if she was sure it was decaf when she handed it out the window. Her response was "Oops we forgot." Grrr. And they always add extra foam....how do you add extra foam when the order clearly states 'no foam.' Blueberry Oatmeal: Meh. It's your basic Oatmeal. They do include: agave, nuts and blueberries. Overall I am not too impressed with this location. I may give them another shot in a few weeks to see if they have improved. They need to step up their customer service game. Fin' read more

Stopped here while driving through Nevada and I have to say, what a pleasant crew that was working. They were welcoming, understanding of our slow process in ordering because we were indecisive and tired, and SO NICE! The one girl that was working had a message gram on her cup and was telling us how people always ask to make notes on them if they are brining someone a drink. She thinks Starbucks should have heart notes on their cups in February that you can write love grams in. Brilliant! Hope she pitches them. Was there at 7am on Saturday. Staff was rude to the customers. There was only one person working the bar, while others took orders, filled cups, and served drive up (didn't make drinks, just took money and handed over the orders). Person in front of me ordered a decaf coffee and they were already out of it. It took 15 minutes to make an iced tea and vanilla bean, which she had to remake because she added caramel (didn't order it). Woman at the bar made one drink at a time. Will NEVER return there. While I appreciate the pace that the staff was moving on a semi- busy Saturday morning, this is below par for Starbucks. The customer service was lacking in friendliness and making customers feel appreciated. I asked for a tea in my own to-go mug - she asked me what size it was in an irritated manner as if I was inconveniencing her. when we were picking up our drinks from the counter she leaned around me and my boyfriend asking the man behind us loudly what he needed, taking his entire order before we were able to move away from the counter (I wasn't moving super slowly). the breakfast wrap I ordered had still frozen egg whites in the middle, and my tea tasted like something else got in the cup. having worked for several years in coffee shops, I hope the manager or owner works on customer service and the importance of treating customers great in balance with throwing out your products. we probably wouldn't stop here again. read more

Ok, so we are stuck in Elko, NV, traveling from Idaho to Disneyland, because my son-in-law's car had an alternator failure. We were able to track down a new one, and we have a mechanic in our party who quickly swapped out the bad for the good. So what do the rest of us do while our hero's are busy saving the day?
