After seeing their post about Champurrado on Facebook, I knew I had to try Spoon me!…read more Spoon me is a frozen yogurt shop that also offers Antojitos which means "little cravings". Under the Antojitos menu they have things like fruit cups covered in Chamoy and Tajin and sometimes nachos. A champurrado is known as "thick Mexican hot chocolate" but it tastes like a thick spiced cinnamon drink that was to die for! They even have Boba with real tapioca pearls instead of popping pearls which makes my heart super happy. I can already tell Spoon me is going to become a regular place for me to visit. I love Boba, champurrado and fruit covered in Chamoy and tajin so it's right up my alley and the kids love froyo and the games! It's perfect for the whole family.

It's unfortunate that I'm needing to write this review. I grew up going to telescope lanes, and I…read morewas severely disappointed with my experience today. The lanes for some reason aren't able to properly count the pins as you're playing, and hardly ever give a proper score. When I asked the person at the desk about it she just reset our game, and it seemed like even that was such an inconvenience for her. The same staff member also was very rude to my sister and wouldn't accept her ID because she "didn't look like her picture." I understand being concerned about underage drinking but a 30 year old with an old photo shouldn't have to worry about that. The staff as a whole seemed very inconvenienced by having to work at all. Like I said, I was disappointed with my experience and will likely not be returning. I would advise that others seek out another place to spend their money.

The dough maker, whom I believe was named Aliza (apologies if I have the name wrong), was there preparing fresh dough, which was wonderful to see. I was fortunate to find a few pastries still available, including the Chile Verde and Beef with Cabbage. The Beef with Cabbage pastry was flavorful and especially enjoyable with their homemade "Hot & Spicy" sauce. While I would have preferred the pastry dough to be a bit crispier, I purchased it after hours and was still very pleased with the quality and taste. Overall, it was a delightful surprise and a very enjoyable experience. I also picked up one Chocolate Brownie with walnuts and a slice of their homemade Carrot cake. I had the carrot cake and it was outstanding! Fresh, flavorful, and loaded with carrots and walnuts, it was everything a great carrot cake should be. I've enjoyed desserts at five-star restaurants and have family members that easily ranks among the best bakers and this cake was delicious!!! Every mouthful was pure deliciousness, and my taste buds were extremely happy. I would gladly order it again!
