    Steak tacos

We gor the salsa trio, fish tacos, steak tacos and the children's bowls. The steak meat was deliciously tender and the fish tacos' had a nice slaw that added a nice counterpoint to the heavier fish, rice and beans. We also ordered a couple of drinks. The meal was a bit pricey given the portions, and everyone agreed that we wojdlthvt have walked away satisfactorily full on the entrees alone. The place is small, but has outdoor seating both in front and in back.

Not bad, but definitely some room for improvement. I went here for a date night with my wife and was excited to try it. Their menu looked awesome on paper and I had walked by a few times and always noticed a decent crowd inside. The drinks and food were definitely on the pricier side for Mexican food, and the steak tacos were under-seasoned and seemed to be on store-bought corn tortillas. My partner had the whole fish, which she said was quite good, so maybe the steak tacos were not representative of the quality of the rest of their menu. Overall, a decent place to check out but nothing special, especially when compared to other Mexican or Latin restaurants at the same price point.

The restaurant is quaint and seems like a mom and pop kind of place. The food seemed very authentic and tasted good. The salsa that came with the chips however was a little bland for me. But the steak tacos and the dish my husband got were good.

I came here for a date and it was a great little spot! Not crowded early on a Thursday but filled up later. Our server was very attentive and everything came out quick. I ordered the shrimp and pineapple tacos and they were really great! Perfect level of spice and very flavorful. I have to rave about the rice and beans - genuinely the best beans i've ever had at a Mexican place?? They were blended smooth and so delicious. I had a spicy margarita with dinner that was perfect as well. I would definitely come back here!

Really cute intimate spot for Mexican food. Coming fron Southern California I have been wanting Mexican food, and while it isn't like home, it satisfied the craving. Passion fruit Margarita was the star of the meal. For dinner I had potato flautas and steak tacos, both were good. Salsas were delicious, but the chips seemed store bought and didn't taste like traditional chips. You also had to pay for the chips, which I don't love. Service was good, and overall I would recommend for a tasty meal.

The food here is pretty good and we loved sitting on the patio on a nice Sunday day. This is a small space but the food taste is mighty! The trio salsa was addictive and they did fabulous with the fish tacos. Service was good and the vibe was calm and cute for a day date.

My wife and I ordered from here on DoorDash for Day of the Dead and we really loved the Family Taco Guisado platter we also got with Baja Fish and Guacamole. Everything was delicious and fun to make and the Tres Leches was amazing too! We look forward to ordering from and/or dining in here in the future.

I visited Muchas Gracias with a friend after work one day and was very happy with my experience. First off, the margaritas are fresh, well balanced and sooo good. I liked them so much I ended up having 3! I also got their spicy rim on the glass and it was so well decorated and so tasty. I loved it! For food, I had their guac which hit the spot! I also had their burrito with short rib birria. This is typically a lunch item but they kindly let me order it for dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the good customer service. When I arrived, my party had the place to ourselves but by the time we left, every table was filled. The restaurant is pretty small but packs a good amount of tables. There's also a parking lot in the back so you don't have to worry about parking. I do recommend visiting! Enjoy!

Just so solidly good. Everything was delicious. It's such a neighborhood spot. I actually didn't realize until I was done with my meal that it's affiliated with Buck's, which is only a plus. They've redone the patio and it's now an adorable outdoor dining spot. Highly recommend!

We are not Mexican and we also know that Mexicans don't really celebrate cinco de mayo. But we wanted to go out on a date night and it was May 5th so why not Mexican. Anyway a Mexican friend of ours recommended this place, but we could not get reservations on line or when we called. We finally decided on another restaurant, but on our way decided to swing by and see if there was any walk-in available. Sure enough we got in. The place is tiny inside with some additional tables out front and in the back parking lot. The place is decorated very basic. However the food was fantastic. Everything was of course gluten free. The guacamole was fresh and delicious and the chips were also thin, fresh and made in-house. We then ordered a chard sweet potato which came with tortillas, a mole dip, and another one that I am not sure what it was but had a little spice to it. the mole was the standout here, but the dish as a whole was awesome. We then shared the enchilada special which again was just great. And finally finished with the Grilled sunfish tacos. I had never had sunfish and this was just wonderful. Of course we had some margaritas to compliment our meal. When it comes to Mexican food, this is the best of what we have seen in DC in a while. Nothing fancy or high end, but solid authentic Mexican food done well.

Food is OK but I can't get over how much of a ripoff the chips and salsa are. I mean, really?

I got the roast pork and you get plenty of chunks of meat throughout. Besides the meat, my favorite part honestly was the tortilla. It held up the contents of the burrita well! What could really help would be more meat options or offering some sauces on the side, especially for $14.99. It might not look big from the pictures, but the burrita was enough of a lunch for me. The construction partially blocks the view of the entrance from the rest of Bethesda Row, but I still see people finding it! It's a big spacious dining room inside, even if you close off the part of the area meant to host parties. The Tacombi decor actually does a really good job of transporting you somewhere else, in my view for a fast casual restaurant. One of my favorite aspects of the restaurant is the sink outside the bathroom. Service was decent as well.

All of them were incredible, I particularly liked the Carne Asada and Carnitas as they were crispy crunchy small pieces of tender meat that were super delicious. The salsas that came with the tacos were super delicious as well and had a nice punch to them. I also ordered the Carne Asada Cemita, which had a delicious crunch of lettuce, fresh avocado, fresh serving of meat and a nicely toasted bun with a side of salsa verde. The gentleman who owns the place is very accommodating, and very friendly. I recommended to him to consider making burritos as the combination of their delicious meats, coupled with their fresh vegetables, would make an awesome new to go option. There is a counter to eat, if you would like to have the fresh food right on the spot. The tacos were solid--small, but well-filled and flavorful. I'd come back for those. But the torta was a letdown--probably the worst I've had. The cutlet was tiny, no avocado, dry bread, and nothing really stood out. The agua fresca tasted like watered-down canned pineapple juice, and the salsas lacked flavor. I was hoping this would prove my friend wrong about the lack of great Mexican food in the area... but so far, the search continues.
