This is a cute place near the movie theater and so my friend and I came here to grab a quick bite before seeing the devil wears Prada 2. You order at the entrance and pay and sit down and they bring the food out to you. There's a good amount of selection of tacos and burritos and bowls. I like that it wasn't too salty like most foods out can be... and that you could add the salsa but at the same time, I did wish it was a little bit more flavorful. However, I liked the portions. Wow! What a fantastic meal at Fish Taco. I adore their grilled fish - succulent, flavorful, and smoky, with char lines to show its cred. I had it served over greens with avocado, jicama and red onion. A lightly creamy lime dressing was served on the side. What a joy - everything was perfect. I think the grilled fish is the way to go here - it looked so much better than the small chunks of battered fish that is the restaurant's "signature style." I can also recommend the Mexican style corn. I watched in astonishment as my companions gobbled it down. However, the margarita on the rocks was small and weak. Overall, a solid place to go for a quick bite. The food is pretty cheap ($10-12) for a chicken quesadilla - my go to order. It's always ready in 5-10 minutes and the staff is always very friendly. The only reason I'm knocking off 1 star is because I got the chips and queso the other day and the queso's texture was grainy. The taste was good, but not sure why it was grainy. I am back to add another review! I keep having these AMAZING experiences with Fishtaco! My job tasked me with ordering lunch for the team and they went with Fishtaco. Online ordering is not available until they open at 11am and I needed this food by 12pm. That had me a bit worried. I submitted my order at 11:20am and it was ready by 11:45am! There were no mistakes in our order for 14 people! I cannot wait to see Fishtaco offer catering and/or group ordering. That way ordering for a larger party is a bit easier. It's been awhile since I've been to Fish Taco and I honestly wasn't a fan of one of their other locations. However, I'm glad I gave it another chance. I've been here twice now and have gotten their signature fish. Definitely a solid choice weather you eat it in tacos or a rice bowl. The fish is crispy, battered well, and not oily. If you choose to go with the taco platter, the cabbage offers a nice refreshing crunch. I also like how the signature sauce isn't heavily poured onto the taco. Along with your tacos, you have a choice of rice & beans. If you are in the mood for something lighter, the salad is a great option. The rice bowl is also good with the signature fish. In addition to the rice and beans, your bowl comes with charred corn (delicious!), pickled jalapeño, and their signature sauce. Service is quick and friendly. Since this location is within walking distance of my office, I can see myself frequenting Fish Taco quite a bit. Definitely deadly!
