The only pleasant part of this restaurant experience was the smile on the employee's face when we arrived. It went all downhill from there. Every meat was dry, dry, DRY. Flies swarmed around our indoor table. Zero decor or music of any kind. The nachos were just chips with shredded cheese sprinkled on top. Not even melted cheese! It's Muchas. Muchas makes good TexMex, so I love Muchas. But this particular Muchas is really bad at forgetting customizations done in the drive thru. For instance, a breakfast burrito is incomplete without sour cream. If you order sour cream on a breakfast burrito, and pay the dollarish charge a glob of sour cream adds to your burrito, it's 50/50 it will be there when you bite into your breakfast burrito. Having a customized order right is even less likely if there is more then two cars in the drive thru line. This is generally easily avoidable. We don't get Muchas if we don't have what we want to add at home or if we are getting it for driving food. We came to this conclusion after Muchas got $30 or so from us over the course of a year in add ons we paid for and didn't get. It's harder when they forget to leave off something, which happens just as regularly. Their chimichanga is amazing. The water from the pico de gallo making the bottom soggy before you get home, especially when you don't like raw onion and now your tortilla in inundated with the taste of raw onion, not so much. So there are also menu items, like the chimichanga, we just don't order anymore. Even with this annoyance we still go to this Muchas quite regularly. It's also hard to blame the staff. The drive thru is in a less then ideal part of a small strip mall and it's obvious they feel rushed to keep the traffic flowing. It would be great if the owners figured out a better location to give their employees a more reasonable approach to being the only good drive thru Mexican fast food in town. They can use the $30 from us as a donation towards this much needed move. read more

Not a big fan of this place since it became Habaneros. The menu changes are unfortunate, bring back the smaller breakfast burrito ! The prices are way too high and the food is hit or miss. I previously ate here a few times per week and now it's down to a few times per month and I am regularly disappointed. Good service in the drive thru though ! read more

My first time here, I ordered chicken tots with no beans and no pico de Gallo. I didn't check before I left the drive thru because I was really clear and even asked her to repeat my order. Got home and I had steak tots with beans and tons of pico. LOL! No lie. They actually tasted ok so I went again. This time, I was really clear again, checked before I left, and it was perfect. Great food, especially for the price. The customer service isn't anything over the top, but it is quick and efficient. If you have any issue they'll gladly remake your order. I ordered 20 minutes prior to close (I'm sorry!) and still received friendly service and even better food. Muchas is the restaurant my family and I go to most frequently in town. We love their burritos, tacos, quesadillas and nachos. And we love the fact that it's authentic Mexican food with a drive through. Their adobada(marinated grilled pork) is SO bomb and has such good flavor. The only reason why I can't give 5 stars is that things do tend to be greasy, and things are sometimes incorrect with the order. I came to pick up a order for doordash. The store was closed probably because of the work being done in the driveway. But I could see 2 different male workers in the back and knocking, one just looked at us, smiled, didn't come to the door. I called repeatedly and they answer. All I was trying to do was tell them that they have to hang a sign in the doorway for Dasher to take a picture of to explain why we are not picking up their orders since they obviously haven't turned off their doordash app, In order for us to get a partial pay for showing up. .... This is actually my favorite Mexican place in town to get food and I love it and the women who work here. It is just mind-blowing to me that they wouldn't even come to the door or answer the phone to explain that they were closing when we were standing outside in the heat. (3 other dashers came and two customers while I wS waiting)...Update: The 2 men were leaving in their car and myself in another Dasher stopped to explain to them that they needed to put a sign in the window. They just said that they had informed doordash that they were not taking orders but literally refused to put up a sign even though we explained we need one to take a picture of, and left I have to assume that the older man must be one of the owners because it's inconceivable to me that an employee would behave that way toward their customers, Which puts me in a really awkward situation about ever coming back for myself as a customer. Because originally my plan was to leave the review so that the owners or managers with no and would explain what is right to do in that situation. But now if there is no person to correct over the matter, I feel like I can't come back. Pretty bummed. I worked my entire life in customer service related industries so I'm very understanding when something is not the fault of the people involved, But I have a very specific standard about how you treat customers and other workers who are in the struggle with you. read more

I was in and out of the drive thru with a custom order burrito in 3 minutes. It was great place to stop when I was tight on time

Went there today for the first time and had their lunch special. While deciding what to order the Lady behind the counter was talking about a customer that she had helped at the drive-thru. She spoke in Spanish to her coworker and greeted us in English., which I didn't mind. What I did mind was her bad mouthing the customer that she had help at the drive-thru to the cook. The lady didn't know I was fluent in Spanish. You just don't do that in front of customers no matter what language you speak. read more

Not my go to but when I have my baby in the car and need to grab something the only "fresh" drive thru is Muchas. Chile relleno burrito or bean burrito are my usuals here. I've had the taco salad but only if I eat there and can smother it in their salsas. read more

They took forever to come to the counter to take our order then when we got it the quesadilla was completely covered in grease and the carne asada burrito steak tasted horrible. The original muchos in salem is sooooooooo much better. Even the hot sauce is better in salem. My food was kind of bland so i figured drenching it in hot sauce would help, however........the hot sauce was also bland and without any heat. On the upside the restaurant was spacious and clean, but im gonna stick to the salem muchos for now on. read more

Careful to examine your order when getting take out or using the drivethru...they have a problem with communication....forgetting the guac, no extra cheese or missing items altogether! The carne asada is shitty most of the time (as in grissel). If I cant chew the meat because it is like a rubber band, I refuse to swallow it. If you overlook these flaws, this is the most rockin drivethru in Monmouth for fast, cheap and good. Got bad Guac one time all over the rolled tacos...ever since, we order the guac on the side and sample a little taste before commiting to consume all of it. read more

The food here is not of the same caliber of a true Mexican restaurant. This restaurant is called Muchas, it is not owned by the same chain that owns Muchas Gracias.They are rarely open on time which really torques me when I'm in a hurry. The food is lame and expensive for what you get in return. I have held off on posting for a long time because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. But after several times coming here in the morning and them being closed after they are supposed to be open and getting substandard food I figured enough is enough.
