Drivers are rude, I've had 4 different drivers cut me off just to get in front of me or to turn out into the road. Today one driver yelled obscenities at me because I complained that they parked diagonally in a handicap parking spot blocking the other. My sons therapist requested transportation days in advance for transportation home from therapy appointment. The driver was seen on the maps and was 15 mins away, which was still an hour after requested and confirmed pick up time. Driver didn't stop, didnt call, didnt cancel the ride he just kept driving farther and farther from the location of pick up. And I know for a FACT veyo shows GPS. Hello, I am currently in talks with a lawyer. He told me to try and collect people who want to be apart of the suit. My sister has had a kidney transplant and after a few years during a check up they noticed that the kidney function was slightly out of wack but not failing, So they decided to put her on dialysis for a little while to give the kidney a bit of a break. A blanket transportation was set up through her insurance with Veyo (no choice in the matter) with an ADA requirement that the driver text or call when they are there because she can't just sit outside for who knows how long because of her disability. After being picked 2 times with the driver following the ADA request, It just stops. Even with lots of communication with her insurance with the help of her Dialysis Unit Social Worker they still would not show up to take her to Dialysis. Over a week later of not being picked up she is now admitted to the hospital getting emergency Dialysis because the doctor's preliminary analyses is her kidney is in almost full failure which could have been prevented if Veyo did their job. In my opinion this can't be legal and I believe the Owner of Veyo should be arrested and charged with attempted murder. Today was the worst transportation experience I've ever had. The driver didn't even say hello or goodbye other than to clarify destination because he talked on his phone the entire ride. Secondly he drove 85-90mph on the highway!! You don't need to be taking people back and forth to mental health appts if you're going to drive like that and zig zag in and out of lanes. I have anxiety and I was scared to death. I would've asked him to slow down but like I said he was busy talking on the phone. Won't be using Veyo anytime soon. I'll stick with Lyft from now on. I am giving four stars because I was able to finish up my on- boarding in one day. Drug test, CPR and vehicle inspection at the Phoenix office. You have to be patient and have your check list completed before you can drive and since they are contracted with state and federal there are extra steps that are required to be done. Drivers have to remember that the Phoenix office is a training, vehicle inspection, lost and found, drug test and bring your documentation center only. If drivers could grasped that then the frustrating experience at the office would be minimal. You have to EMAIL Veyo support for issues regarding pay, fares, accidents and disputes etc. It's all in the handbook that they give you at mentoring! The Phoenix office is very busy I witnessed it first hand on 4/20/17 and the office staff handled it well and did a good job even though you could see that they were overwhelmed. I didn't get the impression that they were purposely being rude but rather they were overwhelmed and were dealing with a lot of potential drivers not being prepared yet they were still helpful and courteous. Remember, we are independent contractors so you don't have to work for them if you don't want to but at the same time they will hold us drivers accountable for misconduct. They have to! We transport medical/sick people. There is a lot of liability involved and contractual obligations they must follow. Trust me they are not going to jeopardize their contracts for driver misconduct. I have a full-time job and will be driving for Veyo part time and it will be less stressful probably for me compared to those drivers driving full-time. I have been there and done that full-time driving with a cab company and in my opinion it's not worth it. There are too many drivers. Too many variables. Too many unknowns. You will have your good and bad days earning wise driving full-time. Veyo and other ride share companies (Veyo more so) will give you the basics and expectations to succeed as best as you can. Once you are on the road the sky is the limit and it's up to you to make it work. They have support in place (Via Email). So trust me when I say going to the office to air your grievances is not going to resolve anything. You have your mentor for that but even then he/she will refer you to email support. DRIVERS - TAKE SCREENSHOTS OF YOUR FARES WHEN ACCEPTING A RIDE AND AFTER DROP OFF PRIOR TO CLOSING YOUR FARE. YOU'LL NOTICE THAT YOUR 22 MILE FARE (USING AN "APPROVED" ROUTE) IS SUDDENLY LISTED AS 16 MILES IN YOUR TRIP HISTORY!! They are not paying for your full miles even if you use an approved route and app like Google maps. You get paid about 2/3 of your miles for every fare beyond a minimum fare. Test it out and unfortunately you'll see I'm correct. Even Uber/Lyft dont stoop to this level of outright deception. I wont even mention how many times I've shown up to a site where 3 drivers are booked for the same person while desperate people just off dialysis in wheelchairs are sitting there waiting for hours begging for you to take them home. I had a lady in her 70's crying because was waiting there for over 2 hours. Is this what this company is?? Feeding off the poor and sick to turn a quick buck?? SHAME ON YOU. If you really cared for these people you'd update your database so these triple bookings never happened and the existing patients were actually picked up. I'm not exaggerating. I see this everyday. How hard could it possibly be in 2017 to fix a database?!? The rude staff in Phoenix who treat the drivers like something they scraped off their $200 Air Jordans need to get out of their tech social media latte bubble and drive for a day. God forbid any of them get sick and need dialysis and can't get a ride home after waiting 2 hours. They seem to only hire staff with borderline personality disorder. Now back to the original review Driver review - 40% No Show ratio, tech support and offices full of dismissive condescending millenials, Hot Spots don't work. You drive to one - hang there for 15 until the app updates and the hot spot is gone. Meanwhile you get fares 7 miles away while you are sitting directly on one of these vaunted "dynamically updating" hotspots. Addresses are frequently reversed where the pickup and drop off are wrong or completely inaccurate to begin with. As mentioned, you get paid nothing for no shows. Some no shows are inevitable but there is no effort to rectify the issue with some effort and communication between ins companies and doctor offices. Prepare to sit and do nothing between 10 am - 1 am. Lately 90% of fares are at the minimum rate where you drive people to a Fry's or Walmart to pickup a prescription and pray you get the fare back. Mind you, they will shop so plan to fill your car with 2 weeks worth of groceries you'll need to load/unload. So in order to make a passible minimum wage you will need at least 25 fares a day which is insane and not even possible. Still interested? Don't worry. You are hired! My female partner who has been using Veyo for the past few months has just again been stranded at her dialysis center in Glendale last night, she leaves the center at 9:00 p.m. and waited for her ride home, well no ride showed up again for the second time, the dispatcher said there are no drivers available at 9:00 p.m. on a Tuesday night. My female partner goes to the dialysis center three nights per week and has had to wait a long time for her ride home, well I complained to the Mercy Care representative about Veyo's not showing up and they changed her transportation to Yellow Cab, hopefully this will work out better, they need to shut down this ride sharing service called Veyo, it is a worthless service that does not do what it is supposed to do, help disabled people get to where they need to go. read more

I am EXTREMELY angry and offended by the actions and statements made by a boy named Abraham, who I spoke with in an attempt to get home after a full day of medical testing and treatment. As usual, YOUR employees entered an incorrect address when dropping me off this morning. My facility is inside a huge Office Park owned by State Farm. State Farm occupies 3 buildings, the other buildings are occupied by Carvana and a full service gym. My medical provider is in a small office located within the office park, 450 E. Rio Salado. Your employee put in 400 E. Rio Salado, not 450, but the buildings are in the same office park, and I was able to have Security take me there. I called for a return ride home and I learned that the wrong address was entered, but since I've been coming here for the past month and a half and the office is literally about 300 feet away, I crossed the walkway and entered the Dr office and I didn't make it an issue. However, when I called at 7:18 pm, an employee named Abraham, who I've had to deal with before, got on the line telling me he remembered me from a similar call on the same issue, based on a mistake by another of Veyos employees. I am an Attorney. The last thing I need to deal with is that boy Abraham lecturing me and basically accusing me of engaging in fraudulent activity, which IS NOT APPRECIATED. I do NOT need some little boy whos only skill is being a smartass to YOUR CUSTOMERS talking to me so rudely, then hang my scheduled transport hostage to make me listen to his trite bullshit. He actually had the nerve to hold my transport so he could talk shit. He's going to cost Veyo dearly if nothing is done. The more I think about it the ANGRIER I GET, and I WILL file a lawsuit if I don't get some resolution as well as an apology. I hate dealing with this cab service. These people cant seem to figure out how to be on time for a pick up for nothing. I already lost a job cause i was late multiple times spending as long as 3 or 4 hours waiting for my ride home so i can get to work. Unprofessional staff. Drivers are rude. The foreign drivers tell you to shut up in the car. They swerve and tailgate and text in the car. They don't confirm addresses when they pick you up and when they taking you to wrong destination they get mad when you complain. Sometimes I am waiting 2 hrs for a cab when they said they were 4 minutes away. Drivers aren't safe at all they don't come inside to get you at my day program so if your not outside they take off and cancel the trip. I have had drivers wanting to go to their houses. They have messed up so many rides. My recent one was a very important as it was an infusion for Lupus. The pharmacist called me on Feb 8 ( my appointment was Feb 9) said they need to reschedule to the 15 . I called veyo and let them know which they changed my ride from the 9th to the 15 . I have confirmation through text for all trips ... so evidence and never was picked up. After calling them asking where the ride was the woman said I have no trips . And that I canceled on the 8 th. Yes ....I canceled on the 8 th for my February 9 th trip and then they rescheduled to the 15 but she insisted I was wrong and was extremely rude even after trying to explain all the evidence is in my text messages for all trips . Now I missed my infusion for the second time wich is bad because my antibodies can build up. Staff really needs better training especially when dealing with medical transportation . These appointments are extremely important I know there's people out there that are way worse off than me . These mistakes should not be often. This happened to me before as well. The drivers have been absolutely wonderful it's the office or dispatch that needs to get there crap together when dealing with with a job that involves medical needs. It's unexceptable. I've usually had a good experience with Veyo, but today I'm livid. I left my doctor's office and called for my return trip to go home. Usually, I have a ride home within 15 minutes. Today, an hour passed. Nothing. I called to find out what's going on, as is recommended in their recording when you schedule the return trip. I was told they would make me priority in dispatch. A woman that called for a ride after me (her phone was on speaker, so that's how I knew she was calling them), was picked up by Veyo. Another woman who left her doctor's office long after I did, was also picked up by Veyo. I called again. Again, I was told I was being made priority by dispatch. An hour and a half turned into two hours. I called again. I was told a driver was coming and would be there in 10-15 minutes. A half an hour later, I was still waiting, with no word. My phone died. I ended up making a long walk, on arthritic feet to the nearest bus, which also required a long walk, once I got off the bus so I could get home. Veyo left me stranded 2 hours and 40 minutes. Only minor complaint is there is only one VEYO office, and it is way north in Phoenix. Noone and I mean NOONE at Veyo knows what they are doing. I have been on the phone with my insurance to get advance funds for my childs 2 1/2hr trip to Childrens Hospital. I finally get to speak to someone at Veyo. Again, apparently the right hand doesnt know what the left hand is doing. Every person I talked to had a different answer, which none were the right answer. I finally get my veyo card in the mail, I call to activate it. Am told "As soon as funds are available your card is activated." What kind of sense does that make???? I finally find the activate page on Veyos website. I was suppose to get an email with a code to ACTIVATE said card. 2hrs later and still no email. Im fed up, tired and ready to pull my hair out with this company! So glad I had a little extra this month to put gas in my car for this trip. Veyo has once again denied services for me regarding transportation to an appointment for cancer. I received a letter today saying I am denied because I am refusing transportation!!! When I called they said it would take them 15 days to review, and by that time it would be past my appointment date so they wouldn't be able to approve it anyway. They intentionally give clients wrong information, they are dishonest, and even with a class action suit against them, they continue. They are just covering up more of what they do wrong!! read more

Worst rideshare company to work for. After car expenses (Gas, miles, car maintenance, toll fees) you will make between $4 to $6 dollars per hour depending on the day. This calculation includes their bonuses and so call productivity incentives. They are a complete scam. Plus you will literally ruin your car, on wear and tear, and you also need to pay taxes. As a driver you'd think Veyo would pay you better (than Uber or Lyft) because Veyo has contracts with big insurance companies such as CalOptima, MediCal, Medicaid and MediCare, but the truth is that they don't. I don't even know why these publicly funded insurance companies have a contract with a company as dishonest and crooked as Veyo. Both patients and drivers deserve better. The whole thing is a scam. Furthermore, you won't get paid a cent for no shows. Literally three hours of your day will go to waste on no shows, plus gas and miles. In particular, the tall thin asian-looking guy at their 555 Parkcenter Dr. location in Santa Ana is hostile to employees and will treat you like garbage just because he feels like it. You talk about a real low-class-jerk at their front lines serving as their first point of contact. A real bully!. A clear example of office managers fostering Veyo's work environment of fear, retaliation, bullying, and overbearance. Creating an unsafe place to work. It is people like that jerk that give Veyo a bad name. Do yourself a favor and work somewhere else. Don't do it! It's not worth it. read more

These people that are hired are not quality drivers....very rude...many cars stink of smoke of all types ...legal and illegal...numerous times drivers running fares on spare tire donuts...not safe...drivers cut off traffic racing to good calls at the drug clinic on northern and 23 ave..veyo cars impeed traffic...park wherever they want...no respect for the rules of the road...or other drivers... it is my personal opinion they should not be allowed to operate... they are a wannabe Fly by Night Cab Company that does not use license cabs they use individual privatized cars...most are dilapidated and in poor condition..ride at your own risk... I would not recommend this company to anybody they should be shut down...db read more

Today was another wonderful experience with the intellects that work for veyo. Driver never called or answered 10+ phone calls. making me run around my huge complex. as he is leaving I see him. And ask, why didn't you call. his response "I was driving around"..... hmmm ok, so instead of allowing me to communicate to you where I am You would rather drive around aimlessly. To top it off, this great worker called ME an idiot, I had a good laugh at that. now 2+hours later I am STILL waiting. this company is horrible to deal with, I have had more crap service than good service. drivers also love to bring up the fact that insurance pays for this service, as if we should be grateful we get to deal with crap service for free. read more

I've been a driver for Veyo for over 2 months now. I love It! Flexible hours, helping out the community, meeting new people. Seeing parts of the Valley you would otherwise never see. read more

Had a 7 am pick up scheduled and by 8:15 am with no show, no call....I cancelled. Poor service, will definitely not use or recommend ever again read more
