The owner immediately got off the phone and called his driver. Within 5 minutes he called back and said he'd have his driver pick them up immediately. When I asked her which one it was, she said, " well, before I was interrupted, you asked for an estimated time. In the situation I was in I didn't need her rudeness or sarcasm. When I told her I was told between 430 and 530 and not 430 and 6 o'clock. She was rude. As I said, she was rude, but Ricky was great so when I called on Monday to let management know of the situation, I spoke to Shane. He was very nice and apologetic; however, he is not the one that should've been apologizing. In fact, the call to him should never have happened . A lady I am aware of uses their services or she would not get around. Her health just doesn't allow for it. One night I saw her waiting for them to pick her up outside the studio and gallery next to where I do my work.. The weather was nice but I would never leave a woman to sit by herself at night near 2nd st and Roosevelt while waiting to be picked up. Chances are there'd be no problems but... They were late but eventually they go there after being called and reminded they were supposed to come and get her. Tonight, it was bordering on cold and this lady again was sitting waiting vor VMT to come and get her. .She told me she had called VMT twice and got the answering machine. By 7:20 pm, I started calling and by then the answering machine wasn't picking up. Eventually my calls would be dropped. Finally at 7:35, I put her in my car and drove her to 70th ave and Indian School. If you use this company be very clear on your plans with them. Nuff said.

I forgot to mention that she needed oxygen which he didn't have at the time, his immediate response was I will run back to the office and get a different van. They returned a short while later with a different van with O2 on board. Upon our arrival home the company that was to deliver oxygen had not arrived yet so we were in a little bind. Ken's response was we will just wait here until that tank is empty. They sat for a while, then left I presume for lunch and returned and just waited outside until the tank had run completely dry. That was absolutely above and beyond any type of service I expected! Then I got an email with the bill, expecting some sticker shock as I opened the email, but nope not these guys. They do not take Medicare but their prices were beyond reasonable and that included all of the extra time and effort they put it in. If you are ever in need of this type of service I can't recommend Diamond any higher. Thank you guys for making a difficult situation so much easier on our family.

I called to ask about them and was quoted their rate. I immediately booked a date and was told they would call to confirm 2 days before my procedure. That call never came. I canceled my appointment. I'm not sure what happened but I would definitely contact another transportation company in the future.
