That being said, it was barely less expensive than going to another local salon. My results were horrendous. I asked for a full foil, which I have been getting for years and know how my hair is supposed to look. Well, I left orange. After 4 hours in the chair. The student who did my hair was very apologetic and nice. It really wasn't her fault. There was exactly zero oversight from the instructors. At all. I never saw one of them. At the end, when I was visibly upset over my hair, the instructor finally came over. All she said was "well, all you can do is book another appointment in 6 weeks. Nothing we can do now". As if I was supposed to walk around looking like a carrot for 6 weeks and then pay full price to likely get botched again. I ended up booking at another salon a few days later. For $30 more than this place charged, she fixed my hair in half the time. Don't go here. This is less of a hair school and more of "let's let students experiment on paying customers and pray they get it done okay". I have gone to hair schools dozens of times before and never had an experience like this.

Why is this place so pricey? I mean, I know they're students, so it's like hair boot camp for them,…read morebut my last appointment felt like a full-time job. Seven hours in that salon chair! By the time I stood up, my back was auditioning for the role of "Angry Senior Citizen" in a sitcom. I half-expected to walk out with a retirement plan along with my haircut. The hair looked decent, but at this point, I'm not sure if I paid for a new style or just a very elaborate sitting challenge.

I am so lucky to be able to attend one of the best Aesthetic programs out there. Taylor Andrews…read morestarted their Basic and Master Aesthetic programs at the beginning of 2020 and have come so far in just one year. There are so many services offered, and the actual program is one of the best. I looked at a lot of schools before I picked Taylor Andrews and I haven't regretted the decision once. They offer, basic, master, and level 4 laser training. You also get certified in classic and volume lashes, as well as a full makeup artistry course. The spa area and treatment rooms are spacious, clean, and beautiful. I'm obsessed to say the least! The instructors are so knowledgeable and amazing. I'm so thankful and grateful for the opportunity to attend Taylor Andrews.

I wanted to share some feedback about my daughter's recent appointment. Her cut and color were…read morebeautiful, and the stylists themselves were wonderful. But the front desk completely changed the tone of the visit. When I arrived to watch my granddaughter, I simply asked where my daughter was. While I was standing right there, the two receptionists referred to my daughter as "the problem client" -- all because she had her baby with her. That comment was unnecessary, unprofessional, and honestly pretty bold to say in front of a family member. Her one‑year‑old sat quietly for two and a half hours without crying, fussing, or disturbing anyone. We even called ahead to confirm it was okay to bring her, and we were told yes. We live in Utah -- families bring their kids places. It's normal, and it certainly doesn't make someone a "problem." And just to be transparent: you caught me on a calm day. All I wanted to do was get to my grandbaby. On a different day, with a comment like that, I might've been the one you considered "the problem." So I'm choosing to address it respectfully here instead of reacting in the moment. Everyone else in the salon was kind and welcoming, but that front‑desk interaction overshadowed an otherwise great experience. I'm not asking for anything; I just want you to be aware of how it came across. Respect and professionalism at the front desk matter, and comments like that stick with people.

I've been in Salt Lake for about a year and a half. I have been looking and looking for a Nail…read moreSalon to land. I think I found that in the Pink Bubble Salon. My nail artist, Allyssa, is very good at her job. She not only listens to what I ask for, but she gets the shape and the length perfect. I've only had one design by her so far, but I'm looking forward to having her work on some other nail designs for me. I also had the pedicure. The pedicure is a water free pedicure, which at first worried me because my feet are pretty dry. But the outcome was very good! I found that my feet felt better doing it this way than having my feet soaking water first. Definitely coming back for a pedicure again as well.

It was so thin you could press on my nails, and they would bend! Don't you get gel nail polish to prevent this? I have never had a gel manicure of such poor quality. And it's not like I was going cheap; the manicure was ((edit: I had put over $100 in an original review, and in fact it was $79.33 with an additional $25 spent on cuticle oil)). I had upgraded the gel ((edit: I did pay for a more expensive gel and expect any gel in a manicure not to bend when you touch the end of your nail)). I will not go back as I don't like my nails breaking to the point they hurt. I had 7 / 10 nails break so low on my fingers that it hurt, and I am gentle on my nails. Save your time and go somewhere else.
