I was able to email Emily to find out what classes were still available. I was able to get him in for the second week of June, I brought cash to pay for his class. There were 5 other kids in his class that had two instructors. My son hasn't really been in many class settings so it was an adjustment for him to learn waiting his turn and following the group. I feel like they did a good job teaching him and maybe two weeks of lessons would be perfect for him. Parking: When you arrive to the address you'll see the driveway that goes down a steep private driveway. There is a little colored flag that says swim lessons on it but if you didn't see it like me, yes drive down the long driveway past the little playground and camping trailer. There are places to pull off to park or you can park on the north side driveway near the chickens/turkeys. DO NOT use the actual driveway at all. They made that very clear in the email. The swim lessons take place in the backyard, there's a big playground the children are allowed to play on and there is a bathroom available.

After 10 lessons my son is completely water safe. He jumps off the diving board by himself with confidence and is able to get safely to the side. He's now moved on to working on his freestyle and backstroke. This is something he could have never achieved in a group lesson in a month or 2 months even. He loves his teacher Noelle and we look forward to lessons again next year.

I can't share enough good about the Goldfish Swim School in American Fork. My daughter suffers from…read moreanxiety for just about everything and getting her to try and swim alone or do just about anything in the water is near impossible so we decided to try swim lessons to see if we could boost her confidence and after just one lesson I am happy to say her confidence in the water has never been higher. I don't know why formal lessons was the key to getting her to feel comfortable in the water but I guess it was. This location in particular has all of the amenities you need at a swim school; changing rooms, showers, blow dryers, swimsuit dryer, ample seating from the viewing area. They have everything. The staff is also very kind and understanding. We worked with Brittany at the front when we arrived and she walked us through everything we need to know and then my daughter worked with Ben in the water. They were both very patient with us and our high needs child. We cannot recommend this place enough.

They have nice changing rooms, bathrooms and showers. The pool is also nice and the temperature of the pool is great. The only thing is, every time we came they never did anything different. Level one (the level right after preschool 5+) is more serious and there aren't themes like preschool. They have pre-team that you try out for and then they have Team as well. They also have a tumbling and all boys classes. Outside of gymnastics they have adult classes at varying times in the day. I haven't been to any of these. I have used the fitness equipment and they have a track and cardio equipment and then a second section with weights. If you love basketball, don't worry. There's plenty of open gym time in the evening. If you're a mom who wants to work out in the morning, there's a kid fit class for ages up to 6 six and a daycare for ages up to 8. There's a rock climbing wall that's open from 5:00 to I think 8:00 that's $8 for 1 hour. They do not provide shoes. If you're a resident of Lehi and haven't tried it out, I recommend getting a pass for a day and checking out their pool. Head's up it gets pretty loud in there!
