It is served by the A train at all times and the C train at all times except late nights. The station has four tracks and two island platforms which is standard for a four-track express station. This station contain three (3) elevators for ADA accessibility and compliance. There is a human operated token booth at this station. There are walkway ramps with exposed "I" beams visible and wall murals and mosaics commissioned by artists. Occasionally, there are NYPD police presence on the platform which fends the illusion of safety and security for New Yorkers during turbulent times for rash of hate or bias assaults. Duke Ellington's "Take the A Train" still resonates through time and tide.

Back in the day during the Harlem Renaissance the "A" was iconic because it connected historical Harlem and Bed Stuy. Duke Ellington orchestra even performed an song about the A train. My stop is Utica Ave, there are two sides to exit Fulton Park and Utica Ave that connects you to the B-46 bus. I get out on the Fulton side that leads you to Fulton St and Stuyvesant Ave across the street from Boys and Girls High School, adjacent from Fulton Park. There is no token booth, no one for customer service, and seldom NYPD available, however it is anything but grimey (that's Ebonics for dirty) and the four kiosk are always working but please be advised some mornings these kiosks do not take dollar bills. This exit is well lit and clean. The murals are a stationery to the culture of working class people and youth that attend neighboring schools that access the A/C trains daily. 4 stars because the MTA tore down our Token Booth. Welcome to Bed-Stuy.

Expect a busy platform due to the above reasons. The one star is for how filthy and unkempt this station is: it's a disconnect considering all the overtime transit workers put in and thus us the end result. It's insulting to all passengers to ride the subways and endure unsanitary conditions especially with a pandemic going on. I do not expect any improvements from the Governor or next Mayor. The only person who understood our Metro system was Andy Byford. New Yorkers deserve better than this.

I made a trip up to Mountain Creek Resort and ended up being the only one to book the reservation. Joel was responsive and helpful with finding alternative transport and I arrived at my destination at exactly the time I expected. My return trip was several days later which was no issue. Other snow bus services only offer same day return trips and you'd have to book a second reservation to ensure you'd have a seat. TransportAzumah was much more accommodating in this aspect and my return trip was perfectly scheduled, seamless, on time, and relaxing. Joel was responsive to all my queries and I had no issues with reaching him. He makes sure that you have a ride and you get to your destination. Their prices are unbeatable and their accommodations are unmatched - I wish their snow bus services were more well known to the public! I plan on booking them again when planning a large group trip

But alternatively you can take the Governor's Island direct ferry back into Manhattan. It was such a smooth ferry ride from Bay Ride -- 10 minutes total (second stop from here) and the bottom/inside of the ferry had AC, a bar and snacks area!! Since it was my first time on this ferry I went to the top to enjoy the view and it was so nice! The ferry was late but I think you should still get there on time just in case because they left as soon as everyone boarded! Was nice to take a ferry in the summer vs. the MTA trains!
