Expect a busy platform due to the above reasons. The one star is for how filthy and unkempt this station is: it's a disconnect considering all the overtime transit workers put in and thus us the end result. It's insulting to all passengers to ride the subways and endure unsanitary conditions especially with a pandemic going on. I do not expect any improvements from the Governor or next Mayor. The only person who understood our Metro system was Andy Byford. New Yorkers deserve better than this.

It's a very decent neighborhood it connects the D,N, R-trains to this station. it has an express track and a local track. the D & N- Train uses the express tracks, while the R-train uses the local tracks. (during late nights the D & N -Train runs the local tracks ).due to covid 19 panamedics all subway station across the five boroughs are closed for cleaning. This Train station stop connects with the B35 bus on 39 street & 4 street. while the B37 bus connects on 36 street and 3 street - (right under Gowanus expressway / connects with the Prospect expressway). there a lot of companies in the area. there the Costco store and the liberty industrial building - which rent out high-end retail stores, near this train station

Easy 1-star review…read more We got a different address for the bus stop in our email from what was published on the website. We almost missed our bus because of this discrepancy. I tried to call the company to confirm which stop was correct, but nobody picked up the phone. If your email says that the bus stop is 587 9th ave, verify at all costs.

I made a trip up to Mountain Creek Resort and ended up being the only one to book the reservation. Joel was responsive and helpful with finding alternative transport and I arrived at my destination at exactly the time I expected. My return trip was several days later which was no issue. Other snow bus services only offer same day return trips and you'd have to book a second reservation to ensure you'd have a seat. TransportAzumah was much more accommodating in this aspect and my return trip was perfectly scheduled, seamless, on time, and relaxing. Joel was responsive to all my queries and I had no issues with reaching him. He makes sure that you have a ride and you get to your destination. Their prices are unbeatable and their accommodations are unmatched - I wish their snow bus services were more well known to the public! I plan on booking them again when planning a large group trip

Taking a boat ride back to Manhattan on a warm Spring afternoon is a terrific way to travel…read more Awesome views and sea air. For only $2.75, same price as a subway ride, you can travel from American Veterans Memorial Pier to lower Manhattan Wall Street and Corlears Hook ( south of East River Park ). Also stops along Brooklyn such as Brooklyn Bridge Park. The schedule is pretty much on time and they stick to it so make sure you're on the pier when the ferry pulls up. Kiosk in the station to purchase tickets. Only downside is that this transportation mode is not part of MTA Metrocard which is ridiculous at this point. You pay separately for this service. NYC needs to work out a plan to have all transportation ( subway, bus, ferry ) all on one inclusive way to pay.

Warning if you want to return to this exact Bay Ride stop from Governor's Island you'll need to check the time table because it stops running around 6pm! But alternatively you can take the Governor's Island direct ferry back into Manhattan. It was such a smooth ferry ride from Bay Ride -- 10 minutes total (second stop from here) and the bottom/inside of the ferry had AC, a bar and snacks area!! Since it was my first time on this ferry I went to the top to enjoy the view and it was so nice! The ferry was late but I think you should still get there on time just in case because they left as soon as everyone boarded! Was nice to take a ferry in the summer vs. the MTA trains!
