Absolute garbage customer service. I called to make a group booking. I spoke to Misaki(?), who was…read moreextremely unprofessional with her attitude, saying stuff like "these are some rules.. yada yada yada". Extremely unpleasant tone. I asked to speak with a supervisor. Was transferred to Drea(?). I asked if she was the supervisor and she said, "kind of? yeah i was sort of made a supervisor at our team meeting last week, so I guess so? So, what do you want?" I asked if this was professional, the tone and attitude she was showing. She said in a defensive tone, "what? I'm trying to help you and you won't let me help you, so how can I help you?" She continued being defensive and talked over me when I tried explaining Misaki's attitude to her, so I hung up. Absolutely unprofessional. Will not be taking our camps here. Management needs to hire more suitable staff.

Classic old school (1970s?) bowling alley. Not too many of these around town. Cue the Big Lebowski…read morereferences. Parking is available on the side streets. The place hasn't been renovated in decades. It's like stepping into a time machine. The main floor lanes are the usual 10-pin, while the upstairs level is cosmic (black light everywhere) 5-pin. There are 12 lanes on each floor. Each lane can support up to 5 players. They do sell drinks (including beer) as well as snacks such as hot dogs and chips. The venue can get a bit cramped when the space fills up. Something to keep in mind.

The best pizza I've ever eaten in my life. Ignore the poor reviews…read more I'm basically a ninja turtle when it comes to pizza and this is the best pizza I've ever eaten

A pizza slice straight out of the box is like a limp noodle. The only two things that saved this…read morefrom being a 1-star or 2-star review is the ingredients are higher quality than most of the local chain stores and the fact this is a local business so I have to give them some loyalty. However, I can't tell you how disappointed I was with my two pizzas. I have been wanting to try pizza from Oak Bowl & Mario's Pizza for the past few months and ordered it today. However, I ate slightly under one slice from each of these limp noodled pizzas and the rest went straight into the trash. It's hard to explain how I felt after trying the pizza. It's not really good, it's not really bad, it's not really flavorful and it doesn't even feel like I'm actually eating a pizza? The crust is missing that firmness, the bubbles, the crunch, the flavor and the ability to even support itself when grabbing a slice one handed out of the box. My only advice would be to reexamine your entire pizza making process. I would prioritize researching a school, or individual trained in the art of making pizza dough and sending an owner or trusted employee to go learn the process and bring that knowledge back to the business and train others. In the end, I wish I would have taken a few photos to add to this review but I didn't think it would be fair to this business digging slices out of the trash just for a review photo.

We were looking for a place that offers 10 pins bowling. Not sure when 5 pins became a trend…read more Growing up in Vancouver, I have always played 10 pins. We came super far out to Sandcastle for the 10 pin bowling. It was a super fun place. There are things that this place should consider improving: -The bowling balls were very dirty-- -We showed up on a Friday night at 8:30 pm and we were told that there were no lanes available until 9:30 pm. We asked if we can put our name down and we were told that its not doable. We were very confused. The staff there then told us to wait and then we were told there is a lane available. -The laser was faulty and didn't count the pins that were knocked down correctly -The ball got stucks a couple times and it took them 20 mins to fix. -Food was so so here but again they are not a restaurant At the end, we had a great time. There are free parking at front. This place is super busy so do make a reservation. Again, they do have 10 pins and 5 pins bowling. Good experience. They just need to improve the above. Their system looks high tech but we noticed we were not the only groups who were having issues. I would say we have a pretty good chance that we would come back.

Opens night and friendly staff! Very busy so always book ahead of time! You can bring your own…read moreshoes or rent theirs. Lots of different options for drinks and food. Some drinks are a bit watered down but for the most part their drinks are good. Good is good but a bit on the pricier side. Parking lot right behind but sometimes get pretty packed. Really enjoy this place and after a certain time in the evening, they turn on the lights and the vibe change. The have 8 or 10 pins but I prefer 10 it's easier and more fun. Would recommend and would definitely go back!
