Fun place, but too bad there were some drivers, both young and old, who were very rude and overly competitive. Music was a tad loud.

When we arrived, we noticed that the signs indicated that if we ordered the tickets online, it would be a bit of a discount. And so we did I think it ended up being like maybe a two dollar difference than what the sign posted for one adult admission ticket. The website was a little wonky for buying the ticket online. We got through it, eventually. There is a gift shop at the entrance of the attraction that you can check out before starting the ride . It looks like part of it is catered towards children, which was very cute. There are many other restaurants and a couple gift shops within walking distance at the center while you're waiting for your show. It seemed like a well organized environment. They will ask you for the number in your party and will try to fit you into one of their rides. When you first walk in, they give you a little presentation of an animated show which is primarily in a standing room. There are a couple benches, but those who come in first will usually have access to that. It was not that interesting to me. I noticed that there were some Halloween decorations throughout, which looked very cute and festive. Unfortunately, it was dark inside and we were not really able to enjoy the decorations Afterwards, you will be seated on your flyover event. There was a moment when my stomach did drop a little bit due to the sensation of being up high. If you are afraid of heights, you will get through this and you will be OK. I did it! It's also pretty cool to feel water droplets on your face as you're soaring over bodies of water of Canada. The one thing that was lacking was there was no narration or story or audio narration of what we were seeing. That would've been helpful. I'm glad we got to experience this.

So we had family from out of town. We decided to try out Fly Over Canada. There are discounts for…read morelocals, so when purchasing, mention that and show your ID. Everyone in the party gets the local discounts, too! It's been a while for me to do the Fly Over, and I must say it doesn't disappoint. Our family from out of town was so tired from walking around the city, and when we did the ride, they were WIDE awake. They truly enjoyed it and thought it was very well done. As for me, someone who has done it a few times before, I was still amazed by the quality of the ride. Definitely a MUST!

After taking in a number of the sights of Victoria my children indicated that there were craving…read moresomething more exiting. I realized that our planned visit to Butchart Gardens later that evening, would not quite fit the bill for them. So, I did an internet search and came up with this place. We jumped into our van, set our course on the GPS and in no time found ourselves getting strapped into our gear. There is a mini training session where we are taught how to use the "life line". That is the safety system that ensures you don't tumble out of the tree's. I learned that it is essential to always make certain that at least one of the two life lines is connected to the main life line at all times. Children age 11 and under are automatically given a more secure magnetic lifeline system which won't allow them to disconnect one line until the other is fastened. I had never done anything like this before and found myself feeling quite nervous (well scared actually) as I began the course. You will find yourself high up among the trees navigating tight ropes, moving planks, vertical ladders, ziplines and so on. I was able to relax a little once I began to trust the life line system. However, I will say that despite the training, I did notice to my horror that at one point in the course I failed to properly connect my lifeline! I am sure that some of you reading this must be cringing at the thought of the danger I was in for those few moments. Well I survived and continued to enjoy this challenging experience which turned into quite a workout to boot. For me, there were no more accidents in using the lifeline. We all agreed that this was great fun and were happy we did this. However I do have some safety concerns. At the beginning of the course, the trainer reassured me that nobody has ever fallen/been seriously injured. Still, in hindsight I would have had all of my children use the more secure magnetic lifeline system. Why not given my experience of improperly fastening my own life line. The business is certainly not taking any chances. No doubt they are well protected by that waiver they have you sign before your child even sets foot on the course. Price...
