We went to see Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute band on Sept 20,2025. This is the first time I have been to Station 49. The band was excellent!! I would love to see them again. I was not prepared for the "uneven terrain". Perhaps if I chose to be on Facebook I would have seen something there that said it's not designed for physically challenged. I don't mean w/c. The walkways to get to the back were very scary for me. The whole venue was very dark. Im wondering too if there is disabled parking. I just want to inform people that may be physically challenged to bring your cane. I want to say once again that we had a great time and the price was right for the concert. But, did I miss the memo that told me about the rough terrain? read more

The business is marked with a large sign on the road but it does say miniature world and there is a private parking lot. Tins of sinage to guide what to do and posting rules. Staff is very friendly and the grounds were well maintained. The go garts can be hit or miss sometimes you get a slow one. There was a few times our group got split and didn't get to do the track together. They do a good job monitoring the track or safety while being used. They now have live music on a stage with a concession stand. The mini golf is set up well and pretty fun, some holes are challenging toward the end. Only downside is waiting for the people on the whole in front of you to finish so you can move on and the cart line can be long. read more

Sorry about the three stars because I didn't even stay to experience it very much. From my perspective, and what I could find on Facebook and their website, I thought it might be fun to come listen to music and have a beer. I'll try again in an evening, but the daytime music is definitely not for me. This is a family and lots of kids place. A can of beer is six or seven dollars. Also, I wanted to see if I could bring dad here with his walker. Absolutely not. It's a long way from the parking to the bar up and down and around and over as you meander through the entire park before you get to the bar and dance floor. It looks very big and may be fun at night. If the hordes of kids are gone. Be warned it is gravel. There are no smooth surfaces if you need a cane or walker, probably not the place for you. read more

Fun and charming with a hefty dose of a weird scolding theme. There are dozens of signs everywhere with cherry picked libertarian messages (note: some of the Thomas Jefferson quotes are fake). A theme of family fun values would be more appropriate than guns rights signs. They went all in on it. But...the train ride was charming and full of carved wooden characters, the golf course was refurbished and nice (but takes waiting as some holes are very hard for kids), and the go-karts are a good long ride. About $100 for a family of 3 to do everything. Not cheap but we had fun if we ignored the messaging. read more

I love this place! The saloon in the back is the neatest place to hang out on a warm summer evening. Someone is always dancing, music is always playing and the lights are wonderful to dance under. Ehh- totally not cracked up to what it portrays or markets. We went first week of June. Only 2 things to do there, miniature golf and go carts. For 3 people that cost over $55, wow! 2 games for 3 people for over $55 !!! Plus the train ride wasn't open so that sucked too. ( we knew this going in though ) Go carts ride was only 3 min, even without anyone else there . Definitely not worth it Biggest issue was the confusion on the packages! Please update the wording online on the packages!!!! Here's the wording " Pick any 5 attractions! Must be used on the same day of purchase. Under 54" $19.95 per person Over 54" $29.95 per person" It doesn't say you can't split the 5 attractions between people All 5 attractions must be used my 1 person, which it doesn't specify on the website! We played the 18 holes and rode the go carts. It was fun and worth the money. If you're in the area, you should check this out for some family fun. The puttputt was challenging and a blast...sand trap, water, underground pipes. The gocarts gave you plenty of laps. They only have hot dogs to buy and bottled drinks, but a nice place to sit on covered picnic tables. They also an arcade, but fancy, but fun for little kids. There's also a coupon on yelp! read more

We went for the putt putt golf which is 18 holes of fun. The layout and design are pretty nice. It isn't too difficult for the kids and we had lots of fun with all the traps and quirks on the course itself. We also did the train ride. That is pretty cool. It leaves every hour and the ride itself is about 20 min. You go thru the entire park as well as the forest where they have set up different scenes, animals, and structures to look at. It sounds like it would be amazing around Christmas time when it changes to Santa's Train. The seats of the train aren't super comfortable but fine for a 20 min ride. They have go-karts and an arcade. The go karts look like fun. I witnessed three kids having a lot of fun. The arcade is small and is not worth it if that is all you want to do there. This is a great option for those with little kids that are visiting the Birch Bay area. read more

SO much FUN!! We went for my son's birthday party Lots to do and clean! Friendly and fun staff make the experience!

My wife and I were a little unsure of this place, as it doesn't look that appealing from the the road. We took my mother and our 4 kids aged 3, 7,10, and 12 and did the pick 5, which was a good deal in comparison to paying for two individual items. We did 4 rounds of go-karts and one round of mini golf. The mini golf course was quite challenging and needs some maintenance, and the condition of the course alone probably warrants a 4 star rating. BUT the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, which seems to becoming more and more rare these days. The go-karts were a blast and the rides were longer than I anticipated. It looks like they have a nice outdoor entertainment area and saloon in the back, which would be a fun hang out spot if they had evening entertainment. Give this place a try!! read more

Super friendly staff... Was a little gun shy after reading the reviews but the kids had a blast. Definitely not cheap but at least a couple hours of fun. We bought the Pick 5. Awful experience and overpriced. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. There was an inside bathroom but there was only a portable bathroom outside for 30 people. Management, why couldn't we go inside? This place is a 10/10! I went with my friend on a free afternoon and it was so fun! Totally brought me back to being a kid again! I wish I had gotten to try out the go karts but I will definitely be returning! They've got snacks and a little arcade, putt putt golf, and a train that goes around the facility! So apparently masks are required in the arcade area but not the golf course or go carts? however there was an entire family that was not wearing a mask in the arcade and it was never inforced they were never spoken to and I honestly believe they should've left the premises and made to leave the premises. If I could rate this place negative stars I would. Yes it's cheap but it is not worth any money whatsoever. The course itself was being torn up worn down and cracking. And not to mention you had to wait 10-15 minutes inbetween each hole because they don't monitor how many people are on their course they just let in as many people that are willing to pay to get in. And while the karts seem interesting the sound of being right next to a track AND music on full volume all round the course ruins the experience in and of itself. I would never recommend this to anyone let alone someone with sensory issues or someone who has children with sensory issues. Please go literally anywhere else lol read more

Um, farm animals??? Nope, didn't see a one. However .... this was a fantastic outing for my 2-year-old grandson. He is a big fan of Thomas the Tank Engine, and that is what their miniature train engine looks like. The ride itself was very amusing for my daughter and me (wouldn't want to spoil surprises for other adults, so I'll just say keep your eyes open). My grandson actually sat still for the 20-minute ride, and had a fabulous time. The place seems well-maintained; bathroom was spotless and there was no litter on the grounds. We watched people play miniature golf and it looked as if everything there was well kept up. We also watched go-kart "racing", and that looked great, too. The employees were extremely helpful and friendly. For $4.50 per person, the train ride was an excellent value. Can't speak to the other prices. Will definitely go back!! read more

Twenty-two years old and still come here every time my family and I go to Birch Bay for July 4th. A challenging, but fun a set of 18 holes. There are no roofs to hide from the sun, so be sure to bring your sunglasses, sunscreen, and some water! I believe it was about $12 per person, which I didn't find expensive. There is also a go-kart track and a mini train ride that goes around the park. I love the employees there. When they are passing a hole, they like to blow the horn to try to distract you. They are all polite and I will be continuing to come here until I stop visiting Birch Bay! read more

Two of five stars. I did not poop here, so I really can't say much for the toilet amenities. However, the go-karts did instigate a movement.

Wasn't prepared for the increased Christmas traffic they received. As a result they put people's lives at risk. I took my family to Miniature World Family Fun Center yesterday (12/23/2017), after it was recommended to me by the Lake Whatcom Railway website. My family and I arrived at Miniature World shortly after 5 PM and had to park on the shoulder of the highway as did many other patrons. Everyone who had to park on the shoulder was forced to walked on the highway as cars zipped by at the posted speed limit of 50 miles per hour. We had to duck in between cars three times on our way to the Miniature World property. Miniature World is beyond lucky that there was no accidents last night. Their parking lot fell well short of accommodating the holiday crowd. I will never go here again. They should be ashamed of themselves. read more

If you have 8-12 year olds I think they will enjoy the race track and mini golf. I would actually put them at a 3.5 - 4. stars, but the train ride needs a major revamp. I was on vacation with grandkids, ages 5 & 6 they were too young to drive the cars and riding as passengers was ok, but not great. The golf course was ok, and on a Hot Boring Summer Day with the kids, getting out with a little family adventure is good, and this is Bellingham, not adventure captal of the world -- so a nice outing. The real disappointment came with the Thomas train (which is obviously also the Christmas train) --it is was downright creepy. This is a shame, because if it wasn't for the train ride we probably could have left the park saying we had a "nice" day, but we saved the train ride for last, and it left us feeling yucky and with a "can you believe it. . . ? " attitude. The train is nice to look at, it has a quality Thomas engine and while going slow enough that even a 2 year old would have trouble falling off, everything seemed fine until we got to "the features". Talk about every horror movie nightmare sequence that you've ever seen where mickey mouse, donald duck, and all the forest creatures live in a Dali Painting -- they have cabins with stuffed animals posed (stapled) in the windows & doors, They are dirty & creepy looking, and next to them is something leftover from Halloween, with brains & gore showing, then next to that is something covered in christmas lights . . . . Needless to say, I think this place has soooo much potential, but has badly blown it with just this one feature. The entire train ride needs to be closed until Mickey, Minnie and the forest creatures can escape (not to mention the ogres.) So, until that happens, the golf course & racers are a fine diversion on a boring summer day. I hope the owners read this constructively as I've intended, I'd like to take the kids back next year, with a better outcome. read more
