As a visitor from the states, this place reminded me of Chuck-E-Cheese. From what I understand, it used to have animatronics on a stage - now THAT would have been Chuck-E-Cheese to a T. We came here because it's one of our nephew's favorite places to visit since he lives right around the corner and what kid wouldn't love an arcade?! It's spring break, so despite going on a Thursday afternoon, this place was busier than I had hoped, but totally manageable. Glad the kids have a place to hang out and have fun during their break. There are two floors of various games, ranging from newer arcade games like Crossy Roads to classics like Galaga. They have a wall of pinball machines which is cool and also have a 4-person air hockey table which seems wildly intimidating to me. While there were many games and activities in which to partake, there were a lot of machines and areas that were broken down or closed off - a LOT more than I expected. There were some machines that were broken and NOT marked or blocked off, so Skee Ball ate up some of our credits because of that... boo. The staff consistently walked around and made sure the floors were clean and swept up, so that was nice to see. The go-kart racing track is outside and while pricing was clear, instructions on how to participate were not. We were sent inside to buy a card bring back outside to pay for the go-karts. The attendants were all nice enough, but it was just wildly confusing to navigate, so we ended up helping to provide guidance to a few other families who were looking to join in on the racing around the same time we were. Therefore, I KNOW it wasn't just us... Once we got things figured out, we sent the nephew out there with his helmet and the attendants got him on his way. The track isn't huge but it's a good enough length for kids to have a good time out there. 10 minutes of circling the same track can get old fast for an adult, but to a kid, it's a dream. He had a blast. Well worth the bit of confusion to achieve the pure joy of driving as a kid. read more

Still fun after all these years. I don't care what people say. This place is a lot cheaper to play at then Rec Room. Sure it is old and a few machines were broken but it's still a fun time. If you can find a Groupon it is even more value. Came here with a $50 Groupon for $25 and had a blast on the GoKarts and arcade. If I had known about the pizza combo from noon to I think 7 I would have grabbed some food as well. Still fun after all these years! read more

If you have grandkids, elementary school children, teen or want a flash back to your youth, Castle fun park has arcade games that every child, youth, teenager or even an adult can think of. On the main floor there are an assortment of games and rides for children 2-7. Even some of the ball throwing games are enjoyed by the parents and older children. A small Merry Go Round, mini air hockey tables, an assortment of old fashioned mechanical horsy rides including a mini mock up Shelby cobra, tractor and more that are an indoor playground for kids 2-5. There is also a large area you can reserve for birthday parties across from the toddler games area. Pinball, bowling, racing, endless arcade, and video games, including dance party, and games of chance fill the 2nd floor targeting children, teens and adults. Outside, Castle Fun Park there is a small working go cart track. Before the Fraser Valley flood in 2021 there were 2 interesting underground mini golf courses and a great outdoor mini gold course. Castle Fun Park (or what I like to call Casa Fun Park) is the arcade of my dreams. My boyfriend and I came here a few weeks ago for date night and we had an absolute blast. It's a bit of a trek since this spot is in Abbotsford, but it's absolutely worth the drive. Once you're on the highway, it's impossible to miss the large castle shaped building and big bright neon sign with "Castle Fun Park" right off the highway. You can get a swipe card from one of the machines located around the arcade and load it with money. When you want to play a game you just tap the card and it'll deduct the $$ directly. If you run out of money, you can easily just load it up again. Gotta love technology. Mini golf, batting cages, soccer, basketball, ALL the arcade games, photo booths, and everything you could possibly think of is located under this roof. We played an assortment of arcade games (skeeball, connect 4, air hockey), and then hit up all the sports (batting cage, mini golf, soccer, and basketball). We spent about 3 hours here and were entertained the entire time. There is a game here for everyone! When we came in there were people of all ages playing the games: kids, teenagers, adults, elderly. This place is definitely not just for kids. Birthday parties, date night (if you and your partner are into this kind of thing), friends night out, this is definitely a great and fun spot for all the above. read more

I have been coming here forever as far as I can remember. This is one amusement center for all ages, with just yourself or with a group of friends, or family. Anyways, haven't been here since the pandemic lockdown, therefore, finally decided to drive out of the city and spend a few hours here. This fun little place is just located on hwy 1, just off one of the Abbotsford exit so you can't miss it. When we arrived, parking was easy and plentiful because they have a big customers parking lot. As we walked toward the entrance, they were doing some maintenance on the go karts so guess no go karts. I can see they did a bit of rearrangement and renovations because inside looked a little different from my last visit here. I didn't see the mini golfs available anymore, the whole section where the batting cages and bumper cars were before were closed. As I wandered around the ground level and upstairs, it seemed like they really cleaned up everything, renovated the washrooms and added in cleaning and sanitizing stations, that's good. We spent a few hours, had some fun and being a kid again. Overall, it is still a fun place to come to. Unfortunately during this visit, some of the things I enjoyed playing here weren't available, hopefully next time when I am back they are don't renovating and available. Always a repeat here and recommended if you haven't been here before. A solid 4 stars but a 3 stars this time around cause not everything were available. read more

A bit of a long drive especially the traffics sometimes are quite awful but it's a fun place to go once in awhile. I don't recommend the food there or around there really but the games are fun. Staffs are nice and the prices are reasonable. It's not dirty but could be cleaner and less harsh cleaners because there are people allergic to those scents and it's just overpowering. The photo machine is okay quality, I've seen much better. They have 3 mini golf areas, one outdoor and two indoors with sea and jungle themes. They have bumper cars, go karts, batting area, bowling, and a few arcade games. Lots of parking and not hard to find the place. 3 gas stations right outside too. It's not a place I'd frequent or go every month but once in awhile it's fun to go. read more

Castle Fun Park on a rainy weekday was ok. The mini golf, jungle was excellent. Restaurant closed and go karts were not open, until evening. I saw no cleaning being done anywhere, uncomfortable yes. Really just ok, and our 13 year old rated it higher, but he lost interest after 2 hours. Staff parking was just outside the main doors and any wheelchair parking was a long way on the lower lot, 3 designated spots, far far far from the main doors. read more

Here are the top things to do at Castle Fun Park in my opinion: 1. Go Kart racing: The course is small but still enjoyable overall. I floored it but the kart still could not go as fast as I would have wanted. 2. Minature golf: I tried the jungle-themed one which is on the lower level of the building. I liked the set up of the course. It was mostly in low lighting. The dinosaur figures were interesting and not too tacky. We had to call an attendant to come to the golf area to provide us with the ball and putters in the beginning. 3. Bumper cars: Classic theme park activity. We had to buzz an attendant to come over and set up the bumper cars for us. 4. Batting/pitching cages: They provide individual hair covers tfor you to wear underneath the helmet. Things that were not so fun at Castle Fun Park: 1. Boat racing: The boats did not go very fast and I did not understand the whole point of the game. Some instructions would be nice. The interior of Castle Fun Park is outdated which compliments the video games which are mostly outdated as well. There was a Mummy themed simulation rollar coaster which seemed interesting. You pay for a swipe card that you swipe before each activity. You can check your balance at various places in the park. There is no entrance fee. You can go in and have a look at what they offer in general before you purchase a game card. Overall, Castle Fun Park seems to provide enjoyment for all ages with the variety of activities. Parking is ample. Washrooms are clean. The park is easy to find off Highway 1. read more

Oh Castle Fun Park. I've been coming to this place since the grunge era (Wonderland anyone?) and it hasn't changed a bit. They've got all your arcade & amusement park favorites. For example: Not just one, but three different mini-golfs, skee-ball, a shooting gallery, a batting cage, go-karts, lots of old school arcade games, I'm talking "Miss Pac-Man", and tons more. On the very outskirts of Metro Vancouver is an indoor amusement arena, mostly frequented by children's birthday parties and carloads of kids who started screaming once they saw it on the West side of the #1 highway. The brilliant aspect of Castle Fun Park is the enormous size of the place, with vast separate rooms that provide everything from batting cages to skeet bowling. Miniature golf seems to be the main event here, with three different versions to choose from. Underwater golf is the best, with the bottoms of boats nailed to the ceiling and the soft sway of ocean noises that pacify kids and keep loud temper tantrums to a minimum. Outdoor is nice too, but since it's Abbotsford it tends to smell like cow manure. Upstairs is a huge collection of arcade games, from buck hunter to bust a move, and there's even cheap go-carting outside if it's sunny out. Another thing that separates this kitsch chucky-cheese knockoff from the rest is the fact that it's open until midnight every night of the week. They seem pretty cool about letting people pour hard bar into pop cups, but sometimes you may run into drunk local guys looking for a fight after getting a good score at the punching bag game. When you think of going out for a night of nostalgic fun, where's the first place you think of? If you're like me, you think "Abbotsford." Totally weird (and wrong), right? Not when Castle Fun Park is involved. C'mon, the place is called "Castle Fun Park" -need I say more? As a bored-to-death teenager, friends and I made the drive out to Castle Fun Park on a fairly regular basis. The big attraction has always been their mini-golf. With two themes to choose from (Jungle golf or Sea golf), the mish-mash of decor throughout the 18-hole courses is always good for a chuckle. I mean, statues of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and giant dinosaurs _totally_ make sense in the Jungle golf course, right? If you're as good (read: bad) as I am, you can get at least a good 45 minutes to an hour of fun for your $8 entrance fee, and if you complete the last hole perfectly you can win a free round. Miraculously winning that one free game when I was 17 is still one of the crowning achievements in my life. I'm cool like that. In addition to their mini-golf, Castle Fun Park has lots of other activities to keep you amused. My personal favourites are the Skee-ball machines, the table hockey, classic arcade games and pool tables upstairs. Also worth mentioning are the bumper cars, batting cages, race track and (mini) driving ranges. They even have a Dance Dance Revolution machine if you're in need for an extra guilty pleasure. As with any amusement park, you can expect to get that slightly dirty feeling during your time at Castle Fun Park. I mean, the place is decades old and caters to kids -it's GOT to be disgustingly filthy. That being said, hand sanitizer is available throughout the park for germophobes like myself, so I'll give them some props for that. Overall, Castle Fun Park is one of my favourite places to go every once in a while for a night of silly fun. The next time you find yourself looking for an evening of ridiculous, cheesy amusement, submit to the call of the Castle. It's waiting for you. read more

I love arcades and this is the biggest one there is. Unfortunately it's a little out of my way so I can't come too often but I guess that saves my wallet. They have everything from classic 90s games, shooting games, sports, driving, pinball, to new games such as Angry birds, Kung fu panda, and Plants vs Zombies. Other features both indoor and outdoor include Batting cages, 3 Mini Golf courses, Bumper karts, Go Karts and bowling. When you get there, you easily load up a card with money and then you are off to play to your hearts content. Many of the arcade games will give you "tickets" so you can get prizes after. Like a typical arcade place, you need to collect quite a few tickets to get a decent prize. Be careful though, you can run out of money pretty quickly. Individually the games or relatively well priced but it adds up quickly if you are playing games like Time Crisis or trying to beat Kung FU Panda for 250 tickets. I always hit up the batting cages which are $4 each round. They have a large dome with several different speeds for baseball and softball. The automated machine does all the work for you so you don't need a partner. It's also better than the standard machines as they change up each pitch so its more realistic. They provide helmets, hair covers and bats - though they are well used. If you get hungry they have food there too. Can't comment on that as I haven't tried anything. Be on the lookout for Groupons! It'll save you a lot of money! read more

Sometimes it's better when days out are totally random. Spontaneous fun is just that much more fun! We decided to grab a few friends and head up to Abbots ford and have some fun at Castle Fun Park. Personally, I had never been. So, I didn't know what to expect. All I have to say, is that it was pretty awesome there. There is so much to do. What they've got: 1. Kiddie Arcade 2. Adult Arcade 3. A little far out in the valley and a bit of a day trip for this Vancouver gal, but it's a great place to take the fam and here's why: 1. They pretty regularly have Groupon deals $25 for $50 worth of play time. They have one right now in fact. DO. IT. 2. It's a blast from the past for the adults. "I used to play this game! I used to play this game!" was the only sentence I heard from my husband while we were there. Like a broken freakin' record. Lol 3. Go Karts. 4. Bumper cars. 5. TWO count 'em, TWO themed mini golf courses. What's with Vancouver and no mini golf by the way?... What is a bummer, and why they lose one star: NOISE. Holy crap. Do not, I repeat, do not come here if you have an infant, if you wear a hearing aid, or have sensory issues. The kids had a ProD and with my youngest having a foot fracture we are limited with creative and active things to do. Castle Fun Park was the perfect place for us today. It's a Monday and they had all the activities open (except go karts) and they had plenty of staff on hand. Plus the place is CLEAN! The games are kept in great condition and the variety is outstanding. The value is excellent. Affordable and a great family activity. The boys are happy. Mamma is happy. What else is there to do in this little town, in the middle of no where except for bowling, movies, and mediocre food? Well, Castle Fun Park saves the day!! YAY!! The arcade machines here are all old machines from Johnny Zees (Station Square Metro Town), and Circuit Circus (Kingsway, 24/7). It's sad to see all the machines are not wanted within Vancouver, but have to be moved outside of Vancouver into this middle of no where small town. I love the parks unique games though. Like the batting cage, the themed mini golfs, the bumper cars, and the go kart race track. Stuff like that is pretty awesome, especially if you have spare time and well they are pretty worth the price that they offer too. My favourite themed mini golf was the one outside. It was very pretty with all the flowers, and brushes, and plants. The special thing about it was the crazy weird holes. :P It is fun especially when it is sunny!! The other mini themed golf is under the sea. It is pretty fun, but very dark down there. So don't be scared just follow the arrows and you shall be fine. It is very humid down there as well. I hope they will have better ventilation than that... The 3rd mini golf was the jungle. There would be weird sounds and awesome decor of a forest in the golf. It is also very humid here too... But darker than the under the sea themed. It is good to see that there is something fun to do in such a small city, two hours away from Vancouver :P read more

This place is, dirty, grungy, seedy and a little scary...and I FREAKING LOVE IT! Tons of fun and cheap ( .60 cents and up) little games to waste your time with and destroy your competitive/annoying friends at to show them who's boss out in the middle of nowheresville Abbotsford. It's a bit of a drive out of town but it's nice to get away once in a while and experience this magical pile of crap. I wouldn't eat any food from here..for obvious reasons and some things like mini golf and go karts are a bit pricey ( 8 bucks each) but the $4 batting cages ( 20 balls) is what I enjoy most, it's a nice way to let out some steam in a healthy and harmless way. If you can make it out there to check this place out then do so because there's nothing else like it anywhere near town whatsoever. Just DON'T expect a classy joint and DO expect a ton of drunk rowdy teens/adults during primetime weekends, especially in the Summer BUT most of the time it's pretty tame and there's usually a lot of open games. You'll know this place if you've ever driven past it. It's right by Highway 1 in Abbotsford and it's got batting cages, a go-kart track, an arcade, and three mini-golf courses. If I was a kid, I'd want a birthday party here. But it's fun for adults who want to play, too! The big attraction here for me is the mini-golf. Vancouver is sadly lacking in good mini-golf, which is why we'll drive 40 kilometres out of town to play on the two indoor courses here, one with a jungle-forest theme, the other with a fantasy sea theme. If you get the hole-in-one on the 18th hole, you get a free game! I've never played the outdoor course which contains the castle hole from which whole establishment derives the name. I think they close the outdoor course when it's raining or dark out. The upstairs arcade is full of retro-fun games, including pinball, air hockey, and arcade classics like Tetris, Final Lap, and those ones where you sit on motorcycles and stuff. Retro-prices too - only a few games will cost you more than a couple of quarters or tokens. It is a bit of a drive from town, but it's a fun stop for when you're heading out to the Okanagan, or when you just want some rainy-day fun with your inner child. read more

The two young girls that were running the go karts Sunday 23rd September need to take responsibility for their patrons. And make sure safety is a priority. As my husband/daughter were parked finished a young girl came in fast and hit the back of our cart jolting my toddler forward about a meter. Right in front of the workers, who didn't say a thing or ask if my daughter was ok. The workers didn't even tell the girl who hit my daughter, she needed to slow down or to apologize. I ran to my daughter and she was very shaken up, my MIL and I. Asked the the girl in the cart to apologize to my daughter. Who just smirked and said sorry. The workers need to make sure the safety is number one priority. And I always see people come in way to fast at the end corner and bump in to the back of cars that are stationary. Make sure the workers tell drivers to slow down, please. Could of resulted in a bad way. Thank goodness my daughter was ok, and not injured. read more

I am a huge fan of minigolf - and this place has it! They have an outdoor course which is great for those hot summer nights, in addition to two elaborate indoor courses (jungle and underwater theme respectively) which are really fun to play. They also have arcade and chuck e cheese style games for entertainment afterwards, in addition to batting cages and go karts! This place will entertain you for an entire day and night if that suits your fancy. My only complaint is the indoor minigolf courses sometimes have an odd smell... I've never actually been to Castle Fun Park but a friend of mine is being kicked out of Canada and sent back to Ireland where they don't have this type of thing so we took him on a road trip. I was disappointed that the bumper cars did not always have an attendant and they looked really not worth $4. The remote control boats and hockey thing were also $4 but weren't working properly. I loved the arcade games, however their website advertises games as low as 25 cents they all seem to be 30 cents or more. I have never been so entertained in an arcade before, there was just soooo many options! I like that you can earn tickets to get prizes and since it is a re loadable play card you can save them up if you go often. Go karting was lots of fun, apparently me and my friends drive pretty aggressively since we caused 4 wipe outs in one round, oops! The last time we went go-karting right before it closed and I happened to notice as I was karting by the control booth that the 2 attendants were sitting in there making out...uhhh, awkward!!! I've been meaning to stop here for years because I used to go 15 (or more) years ago when it was still Wonderland. It's changed so much and so little in that time but I love that they've started using a card system instead of coins! I'm sure that it gets us to spend our money a little bit faster as you don't really look at the game and go "OH I'm not going to use X amount of tokens on THAT!". Rather, you just swipe your card and move on. Also, it's nice that it holds on the to the number of tickets you've won. We only did the Coral Reef golf and I'm so glad we did. It had the best, most colourful course of all of them. The scenery down there was beautiful! The fish, the sharks the fountains...it was all just awesome and I'm so glad that I have a camera that can take night shots without a flash. The skill games are all pretty great too. The Kungfu Panda game right near the entrance I would highly recommend trying as it's a super work out and fun too boot! The Connect 4 game is also a lot of fun if you have someone to play with. The shooting gallery is a riot when you figure out some of the secrets, plus 15 shots for 60c is a pretty decent deal. The downside of this place...some the arcade games and pinball were hit and miss. Some of the screens really need to be replaced. I used to LOVE playing Snow Bros and I was so excited to see it still there! Played it for old times sake but it was really hard to see some of the drops due to them being the same colour as the screen. Pinball, IronMan was SUPER glitchy, Avengers and Pirates (my favourite), the ball would get stuck and you would have to risk a TILT to get it out of where ever it was stuck. That being said, staff were advised by us of these issues, and no one showed up to even check them....outside of that though, they were pretty friendly also. Kids, teens or adults, this place is still a great place to go and hang for a few hours. read more

Came here last weekend, was my first time here. Great place with decent amount of activities and games. The prices here for the arcade games are very reasonable. Although I didn't do the batting cage, bumper cars, or mini golf. They don't use coins or tokens, but rather your money is on a card, similar to how Playdium was back in be day. Big brownie points here. The go carts look fun, but I would recommend to avoid it if you are feeling the need for speed. You can do the whole track without ever letting go of the gas pedal. Good luck catching and passing other karts. The line up for food I found was super inefficient and rather slow. Many people were cutting in line to go to the only cashier to have their water bottles filled when there is a water fountain by the washroom. All in all, I still had great time here. But it all depends on who you're with and maybe how busy it is here. read more

I have not been here in 15+ years, since I was a child pretty much. Drove all the way from downtown Vancouver to play mini golf - why?? Because there are NO mini golf courses remotely closeby, or at least none that are good or operational. It was fun to make the drive, felt like a road trip. We played both indoor courses and it was great to see how improved they are, as they should after 15 years ;) Nice renos. There aren't as many arcade games as I recall but you can also make a day of it here. There's an outdoor mini golf, go karts, batting cage, and more. It seems a bit pricey but it is what it is. Luckily, I aced both 18th holes and won my game back in credit. Gotta keep the streak going! read more

We found ourselves here to avoid traffic heading back into the city! This place was entertaining. They have several video games throughout the place - some are really old and out dated. Some are fairly new! Don't plan on grabbing a beer here though because it's more of an attraction for children vs adults. No alcohol is served on the premises. They do have snacks, candy and cold drinks. We had a good time while passing time. We played softball, races boats, played some video games, mini golf, basketball, and then we got a couple prizes in the end. We spend about $55 bucks here in a couple hours. They just looked at me like I had 2 heads. Then we rode around and again we were the only ones there. They ended our ride in 5 minutes and 12 laps like they were robots. Come on!! If people are having a good time and by themselves let them enjoy themselves. The rest of the place was cool and cute. Mini golf was fun and the games were fun. I was born in Chilliwack and remember going to this place a few times as a kid. I have to say, I never expected to go back and have so much fun. My BF and I where on our way back home through BC and i thought we could stop and check this place out, fully expecting to look around, give it a nod and be on our way. 2 and a half hours after walking in we had to force ourselves out as we would already be arriving home in the wee hours of the morning, we could have stayed all day! This place is not only huge it is a genuine arcade paradise! When you get there you load a reusable card and swipe at every machine, the card keeps a balance of your cash and any tickets you have won. If you want to re lode, simply go to one of MANY machines to do so, you can reload multiple cards in one transaction. If you want to cash the tickets in for prizes you can do so by swiping and the lovely staff behind the counter will round up your total and get your prizes for you! i had 72 tickets she rounded to 80! There is well over 100 old school arcade games and some more modern ones. Games for all ages. The park also has a speedway, golf, batting cage, laser tag and a few other group activities available. Castle Fun Park has been updated to newer games and has 2 fun Indoor Golf areas as well as one mini outdoor Golf area. Batting Cages and Hockey Shooting at the net is a blast. And a soccer shooting cage for the snipers out there . Go Karting outdoor track is a fun track also , but watching for a fast kart to drive is key. I'll give it a 3 1/2 to 4 for Family Fun. Reasonable Prices on all games. Food is not too bad but there's lots of Restaurants close by the Whatcom Rd Exit off of Trans Canada Highway, Abbotsford BC .
