Meat pizza. Sooooo good
Marty M.

Glad to see it's still open. The pizza is actually very good. We were shocked. The platter was great too..something for everyone. Great bowling, drinking and food. Highly recommend.

They have darts, mini arcade and pool tables. The mini arcade wasn't working. We came to throw darts and brought our own (they don't have darts anymore), but you need loonies for the dart board and there's nowhere to exchange money. The entire Bowling Centre is apparently cashless. You also can't take food/drinks to that area. We decided to bowl for an hour. The first 40 minutes was fine, then our lane started acting up, which was super annoying. We would knock down a few pins the first round, then the machine would give us full pins for the 2nd round. I recommend getting a poutine, it's huge! I liked the thick gravy and big chunks of cheese curds. I also like that they gave us a ton of forks & napkins. You definitely don't want to be eating with your hands after touching those bowling balls.

Happy hour? Love this deal

Customer service: 4 Stars I had booked 2 lanes for friends/family package in weekend. But unfortunately not many people gathered and needed to cancel one lane and change the plan to $2/game + $4/shoes rental. At end, we could save some money and more enough time to play. We thank for their understanding and flexibility. Facility: 3 Stars We played at day time. No black light. That's fine. It was not so busy but our lane computer stopped very often and needed to reset every time. In the middle of game, we had to move the lane two spot next too. It's strange and of course the score was not accurate.

Looks like there have been a few changes since the last time I was here. They've finally made the main parking lot free. You do need to grab a pass off the front counter though. On Mondays, highballs are only $2.25(!?). Not sure if it's legal, but I think I just found my go-to watering hole. Can you even mix your own highballs at home for this cheap? Oh yeah, there's bowling here too. Almost forgot. The interesting thing about the bowling system here (maybe it's a common feature but none of us had seen this anywhere) is that you can actually split the same game between 2 lanes. You enter the names into the same pool, and if there are 8 of you (for example), Player 1 starts in lane A, and Player 5 starts in Lane B. The kicker is that after each player moves to the adjacent lane after finishing each frame. It keeps everyone going at the same pace, and keeps everyone involved. Special mention for this nifty little system. Now if only they'd upgrade from those 1990s-era CRTs.. Lastly, the bowling was quite cheap, at $9 for 4 games, including shoe rentals. Sure beats watching a movie.

Been here bowling a few times. It's ok as far as bowling alleys go. It's off lougheed in Burnaby, so a bit away from the hustle and bustle. They have a sizeable parking lot. You do need to go in and get a parking pass though (free), so remember to do this. The alley itself has a good number of lanes. There is also an area for some other games like darts, air hockey, etc. There is a lounge/restaurant area as well. We had the pizza last time, it wasn't great... well, I'd have to say it wasn't even good, but not bad enough to call it bad. It's kind of what you expect from a bowling alley.. the toppings were sparse, and there wasn't much flavour, and the texture was kind of like McCain's pizza. I find that typically Nacho's are done better at bowling alleys so next time I'll try that. Bowling itself was enjoyable. At one point, our pin resetting machine thing broke and someone had to come fix it, but that was pretty much the only snafu. So I'd say it's overall ok.

We were instantly seated and pleased to find it was Happy Hour. I ordered some wings and the gyozas (both apps) and the serving sizes were perfect for a one person meal. My son, the picky eater, was feeling adventurous and ordered the Fried Chicken Mac n cheese and said it was one of the best meals he's had. This was the perfect place to stop for everyone to get something they wanted - my husband had pizza, my daughter had fish and chips, and my mom had the pesto linguini. While the food is good (nothing extra-ordinary but still good), the best part was that we all left satisfied happy. Oh and my drink was fantastic - I had the Strawberry Lychee burst with polar ice vodka, sparkling wine, oolong tea, strawberry, lemon, lychee popping pearls and it was very refreshing.

In summary, the staff at this location chose to lie and gaslight their customers in order to get…read moreaway with closing their kitchen early -- conveniently on a long weekend. Gaslight is a strong accusation, but fitting when the host decides to deny your reality, despite given factual proof. I originally made a reservation for 10:30 PM, then moved it to 10:45 PM so that our group could make it on time. My group arrived at 10:44 PM, but the host had to assist a group ahead of us. By the time they finished seating that group, it was 10:47 PM. At that point, the host told us that we "arrived at 10:47" and that they would no longer be able to seat us for a meal because the kitchen was closing. The host completely disregarded the fact that we had arrived before 10:45 and claimed there was nothing they could do. We then asked to speak to the manager, Seerat Dhanoa. She provided conflicting information, which made it quite obvious that they were trying to justify closing the kitchen earlier for convenience on a long weekend. She gave the following explanations: "Ever since COVID, it hasn't been that busy, so we decided to keep the kitchen closed earlier at 11:00 PM." This does not make sense. If we had been seated between 10:47 and 10:53, we would have been able to place our orders before 11:00 PM. Instead, they chose to prolong the argument until 11:00 PM, effectively wasting 15 minutes of our time. She said she tried calling to inform us and left a voicemail stating that if we were not there by 10:45 PM, they would not take our order and would close the kitchen. This allows zero leniency, even if customers are 1-2 minutes late. The call was made around 10:35-10:38 PM, when I was driving to the location and unable to answer. Nowhere on their website or reservation system does it state that a 10:45 PM reservation would result in being denied food before 11:00 PM. I showed her time-stamped messages from all group members confirming arrival at 10:44 PM. This was essentially ignored. At that point, it felt like she was just trying to cover for her team so they could close early. The only response was an apology and an offer for free drinks. In conclusion, the staff at this location deny clear facts and attempt to shift the situation onto the customer to justify poor service, showing no courtesy or accountability. I included photos that show - arrival time - reservation time - Calls made from the manager's phone "Seerat Dhanoa" even before my reservation time. (Also, expecting me to pick up a call while driving, especially when it wasn't identified under the business or company name, is quite unprofessional.) If management decided to close the kitchen early, they should have been upfront about it. Instead, the way this situation was handled is something future customers should be aware of. Side note for Vancouver residents: I typically bring my business to higher-end establishments in Vancouver known for strong service, but for my birthday I wanted something more relaxed and fun. I wasn't expecting that same level -- just basic service, which made this disappointing.

What a great spot - I can envision sipping cocktails in the summer with the doors open, or inside in winter - very nicely done up by someone with an eye. The tour exceeded our expectations and took us into 2 other spaces not normally accessible including a cask room in the back that can be booked for small to medium sized groups. Our guide was the owner and we are curious science minded people so it was a great match. Jan is an excellent teacher and story-teller. The tasting really educated me but let's not mince words,.. it was also tasty! The final phase of the tour is to show you how to mix gins into cocktails with a little hands on mixology tutorial with batertender Ky. All told several samples, and cocktails were included - all amazing. All of the staff were great. It was just a really enjoyable afternoon and worth of a rare 5 stars! I think this place is a must stop for a day adventure from Vancouver to the Shipyards area. I loved this place! First time dining in and I absolutely love the ambiance - ample seating,…read morefitting decor, and a fresh vibe. We walked in a few minutes after they opened up on a Tuesday morning and they were able to accommodate our group of six. Although the restaurant was empty upon arrival, it filled up quickly! Service was quick, and our order was taken at a reasonable time. My only negative comment with the service is that we had drank almost all the water - two pitchers were empty - and had set the empty pitchers on one side of the table... At no point did anyone refill our water until we asked at the very end of our dining experience, despite the pitchers being visibly empty. On the other side, the staff members were anticipatory during the ordering process, especially when two members of my party indicated they would be ordering one large clam chowder for the two of them. The server immediately asked if they would like the clam chowder split into two bowls, which was a very kind consideration. I ordered the Truffle Tortellini with prawns and it was DELISH! The mushrooms were yum and the prawns added to the flavor - I found that the perfect bite consisted of a fork-full of one tortellini, one prawn, one piece of mushroom, and one veggie piece. Sooo good! Prior to receiving our entrees, I fell in love with the calamari appetizer we ordered for the table, especially the dipping sauce it came with (I would come back again and devour an entire order on my own). The calamari wasn't too thick or difficult to chew, like some calamari orders elsewhere might be, and the sauce was flavorful. Additionally, the drink menu looked plentiful and had a variety of options that I hope to explore during my next visit!

Nothing wrong with it, but they did make it more trendy and a little upscale. Reservation is recommended as it gets busy around dinner time. As I walked in I overheard. The hosting telling a family the wait time is around 30 mins. Our host brought us to a two people table, It a bit small but I did like to sofa style seats, made it more comfortable. We ordered some martini, and chicken wings to start with. The martini tastes great, with a hint of mint and lemon drops. Chicken wings were well seasoned and tender, you can tell that they are freshly made. We then each ordered some steak. I had the black truffle butter steak 6 oz, medium rare. I gotta say, the steak was cooked just right, not over, not under. I was impressed with the flavor. The side dishes is on the carb heavy side. It's got the mash potatoes, but also had sliced pumpkin. To me, pumpkin is considered carb, not veggies. I wish we could have something different. We ended up not able to finish all because it was too heavy. Other than that, everything was great. Our server gave us space and time to decide on what we wanted. She was professional yet friendly. I'll have to go back and try something else.

My Mediterranean salad was very tasty, the chicken was about the right portion, but I felt I should have got more of the kalamata olive, the gem tomatoes, roasted peppers, in the salad. At close to $30 it should be better. I'd have it again however. K's Hibachi Wings and salad also hit the mark. The salad was plentiful, but the lack of the selling items, the yummy bits, was noticeable. The wings were nicely cooked and they needed really nothing other than what they came with while hot.
