Last year they gutted and renovated the place. It is done up in "nouveau diner chic" complete with red leather stools and loud rock and roll. LOVE IT. Although on Monday and Fridays you can use the Seymour Golf Club driving range but they are semi private and much more expensive for a bucket of balls. There is also another driving range in the North Shore called Seymour Creek but hitting their balls is like hitting rocks in a demilitarized zone. Takaya balls are pretty good. There is a mix of brand new and older balls (all Top Flight I think). There is also a mix of mats and hitting surfaces. The price is average, 7 bucks for 75 balls. There are bonus times where you get 90 for the same price. Look out for Groupon or living social deals. Often you can get 10 buckets for 30 dollars. Make sure to load your groupon/living social deals onto a loyalty card (unless you want to carry a ton of paper slips). Practice facility is a joke. But again on the Northshore that's the best you can get. (unless you go to Seymour Golf Club on a Monday/Friday public day). Our kids love the minigolf. Price is pretty decent for an hour of fun. Staff is usually an unenthusiastic teenager. Sometimes the owner is there and he is really nice. Also some of the instructors seem really nice.

No power steering, no power brakes, my hands and arms were tired when we were all done from zipping around the tight corners and trying not to crash into the walls. The only thing I'd do different is see if we could run 3 -10 minute segments versus 2 -15 minutes. Breaking it up a little would have been better.
