Nice selection of arcade games. They also ha foosballs, virtual reality, roller skating rink, mini golf and bowling. If you get hungry they have pizza and more. You can book birthday parties for kids here as well. Locker rooms are also avaible as well as washrooms.

    All the lights and games!

27,000 sq ft of fun! Central City Fun Park is loaded with games to keep kids of all ages entertained. Located walking distance from Scott Road skytrain station in Surrey and next to Hive Rock Climbing, Central City Fun Park is not just an arcade, but also has a roller skating arena, mini golf, bowling and VR. They also have a couple of grab n go style food options with Fast Baked Pizza Company and Big Dogs (hot dogs) which makes it a great place to host an event. Our group had a good time playing some video games and collect digital tickets to redeem for some goodies. The setup is pretty easy peasy. Hit a little digital kiosk up to fill a Fun Card. (All the attractions require use of the Fun Card.) Swipe that card at a game or attraction to get playing! Digital tickets can be collected through the card to eliminate the mess of all those little tickets. The place is busy on a Sunday afternoon. The majority of the crowd was masked, but it doesn't seem to be an enforced rule. Sanitize. Sanitize. Sanitize. I'm a face toucher, so I made use of the sanitizer stations throughout the building. I can't be playing all those games and then rubbing my eye or adjusting my mask without taking precaution. All in all, this place is a ton of fun. I can definitely see myself and the family heading here again and again and again.

Fun out of the sun. Central city fun park is a great place to do things when it's too warm out or it's raining and cold. There's a variety of arcade games to play that offer you tickets in return for how well you score. In addition to arcade games there is activities to do as well. There is 10 pin bowling, mini golf, and roller blading. The bowling is a fun experience that almost makes it feel like you're at a real bowling alley. The biggest difference is probably the lane size, the lanes are shorter but they do the job. The roller rink looks like a lot of fun and I would definitely go back one day to give it a go. We originally went here for the mini golf, but upon arriving we were a little stumped to find that it was a very small course with very little "extra" put into it. In comparison to others we have done it didn't spark are interest but we were glad to give bowling a go. The games and activities all run off of card that are loaded, they accept both cash and debit. I wouldn't say that this is inexpensive but it makes for some fun times for either your family or friends.

The Rec Room - hot wings were very spicy!

We got to choose from breaded or non-breaded and a few different flavours of wings like Salt & Pepper, Smokey BBQ, Sweet Heat, and Spicy Buffalo. It was about a 20-30 minute wait for the wings so we did find it a bit long. The service was average and nothing notable. But when the wings did arrive, they were served with a ranch dipping sauce and it was hot & fresh! We got a few more rounds afterwards (that didn't look or weren't plated as nicely but still tasted good) and enjoyed it a lot. It was $25 for AYCE wings but it also included a $10 credit to play any of their arcade games. That's a pretty good deal in our opinions! We'd likely return for more wings if we feel like eating abnormal amounts again!

Parking is plentiful in the mall lot. The place is pretty full of life. There is a large arcade with plenty of relatively modern games (most are G to PG themed), and a section for table tennis and pool. Place has a relatively loungeish feel, which is great for those in their 20s. Some kiddie games provide tickets, which can be redeemed for points. And just like a Chuck E Cheese, the ticket costs are insane. The place also has a large food section with fast food, as well as spaces for private parties. Not a bad place to check out and kill some time.

But if you've made it this far, let me tell you about the magical and prehistoric collector's items available at John's Jukes. First and foremost are the Jukeboxes, old delightful automated DJ machines that take everything from loonies to nickels. One of the Jukeboxes is fashioned to look like the back of a hot pink convertible, perfect for making your living room look like Pop Tate's Soda Shop in Archie Comics. Most of the other ones can be summed up by referencing the opening montage for Happy Days. There is also a wide variety of pinball machines, with every co-opted franchise from Star Wars to Kiss, and a few video game consoles that have been manhandled by fastidious fingers for over 40 years. But it's a high price to pay for nostalgia, with items ranging from several hundred dollars to several thousand. If you do miss Frogger that much though, it's the right place to go, just make sure that you have a truck nearby so you don't have to maneuver the console through traffic.

Now, I am not a pinball game player, nor am I a jukebox expert, but I love the way they look in a large living room or a retro restaurant. And this place has some of the more unique items. From brightly decorated machines that play music the old-world ways (with coins) to pinball machines that cost a few thousand dollars, this travel time back to more beautiful days gone by is worth a visit.
