We got sensors on our left and right wrists, and ankles. For those that had glasses, we had to were the googles over our glasses which we were advised could interfere with some of the sensors in the eyes but overall, they were fine. Although we put them in place at the outset, all those with glasses all agreed that the googles still moved regardless of how tight we had them. Overall though, the googles didn't interfere too much with the game. For those familiar with Squid Game, it followed a similar pattern where we played group games to win individual points. It was a really fun theme, especially for those of us that don't like zombie pop ups. Lots of feet and hand movements. We really appreciated that right after the game is over, they led us to the back to show us three clips about our experience. The clip was also emailed directly to us right away. A really fun activity with a group. Would definitely do this again, and... perhaps won't be so nice with sharing info about certain aspects. Every man for themselves right?

I came here to experience my very first VR recently with a group. I was extremely excited as I've heard a lot about VR; however, I was also a little hesitant because I did not have any gaming cells in my body. Upon entering the place, I was a little surprised at how "unadorned" the place and the booths looked. This wasn't what I had seen at the other VR places I have had site visits at. We were each placed in a booth. The Asian staff (the only one there) gave us some pointers, set up our equipment on our heads, and told us to follow the "tutorial" and navigate around the system first. Reasons for my 1-star: 1) Upon putting on my headset, I immediately noticed how blurry my view was, and it was blurry the entire time. I had to tilt my head at times to see if I could see better from certain angles. No such luck. I had expected it to be high definition or at least clear? 2) The tutorial itself was so useless. It didn't help at all with the game that we played after. It was also pre-programmed and gave me a "good job" even during the times I didn't do what was asked. 3) The staff was extremely unpleasant. It was my first VR (I was sure I wasn't not the only one) and it took me a little longer to get the hang of what I should be doing for the game. He pulled aside my headset and started yelling at me, how I wasn't supposed to do this and that, blah blah blah. I also heard a loud impatient sigh after his yelling. He made me feel so STUPID. Because of this negative feeling (plus how blurry it was), I didn't really have fun afterwards. Once I was done, I stood around the booths to watch other people play. One of the people we came with said "I was watching you and you were hilarious! I saw him yelling at you. That was not nice at all! He was also yelling at XYZ as well." Another person came and commented how blurry it was. We both concluded that it wasn't "user problem." Guess this place didn't have state of the art technology. I could see how VR would be a total out of this world experience. Unfortunately, both the technology and the customer service at Breakout VR did not offer such an experience.

What a great experience!…read more Came here for a birthday and let me tell you, probably one of the most fun I've ever had. Starting from the beginning, I emailed them and requested some information considering we were going to have a birthday and wanted a private game. They gave me all the information I needed and responded within a very reasonable amount of time. When I had some questions and concerns they resolved it immediately before the date of the reservation. Upon arrival the two hosts were great. There was six of us and the hosts were super friendly, accommodating, explained everything very clearly and really gave us a great experience. They took pictures and videos for us during our game and we felt like they had prepared us for what to expect. The place is clean, organized, and it felt safe. The VR headsets and guns felt clean. After the game they helped us take more photos and they even sent us a video of our actual gameplay which was very cool. If we had a little more time I definitely would have added another game, it was super fun, all my friends had a lot of fun and we would definitely be coming back. Such a great experience.
