Firstly, I'm not sure why all the negative reviews on Yelp and Google map. Sure they charge a hefty price $28 plus per adult, but people can do the research and due diligence before they go to the farm to know what to expect. Took our daughter to the farm again for pumpkin patch season. We bought the membership in March so we were going there to ensure we got the value out of our membership. We were impressed by all the pumpkin display the farm did. There were definitely a lot of photo opportunities for your social media. We had fun checking out the animals and also purchased the feed so we can feed the animals. It was certainly a nice experience to feed donkeys, mini horses and the highland cows. We also really enjoy the bubble making Booth as well as the jumping pillow. My daughter refused to leave either place. One star deduction for the food quality and the price tags associated . The vegetable samosas were still very delicious. We ordered butter chicken rice this time and they gave such few pieces of chicken. They didn't have carrot cake this time so we bought apple spice cake. Compared to other places I've eaten the farms version wasn't as good and they gave such few teeny pieces of apples. read more

This is the end all be all pumpkin patch!! A must do and add to your bucket list ASAP!!! I found on instagram and thought it looked amazing but this is one place where it's even better in real life. IG didn't disappoint and I was blown away for the detail to the photo ops and decor. A few things to note: the food while it may smell good is sub par except for the burgers which are made from scratch and very flavorful. The bathroom situation is diabolical and has the potential to ruin an otherwise good time based on how bad you have to go. I would recommend using the toilet before you go and keeping sanitizer in your pocket. Otherwise plan for an amazing time with great memories and photos to last a year!! Until next October read more

We were visiting from the US and found Maan farms through some extensive research. Maan farm is located in abbotsford, about an hour from Vancouver. Maan farm offers a lot to see and do: a tulip forest, photo ops, a kid's play zone, animals, and wine tasting. When we arrived we wanted to do wine tasting. We got to try 4 different wines for $10 and were also given the option of a free tasting with the purchase of a wine. The employee, Alejandro was very helpful in answering all of our questions. He even explained that all fruit is grown on site. After wine tasting, we visited the animals. The animals were well cared for and in clean encounters. Finally, we visited the tulip forest which offered photo ops, tulips, and a peaceful environment. I couldn't recommend Maan Farm more! read more

Visited Maan Farms in September for their pumpkin patch season - their pumpkin forest was really pretty. They had some cool treats too like pumpkin cream which was essential pumpkin spice ice cream in a pumpkin it was not bad but I think it was not worth $11. They also had many other food options - samosas, fries, poutine, sandwiches etc. They also had a petting zoo with sheeps and alpacas. Finally decided to check out Maan Farms after years of seeing it hyped up by friends and all over social media. The entire experience left much to be desired. When we arrived, the parking lot was full and we had to drive a couple blocks down before we came across a spot. During our hunt, we saw a group of elderly people struggling to walk up the hill to get to the farm since they were forced to park so far away. The farm itself was okay, but their pumpkin patch wasn't a real pumpkin patch. They basically select the nicest looking pumpkins and spread them across a grassy area for people to choose from. There were barely any animals and a lot of the ones they did have seemed to lack space. The only ones you could pet were the pigs which would bite your hand if you fed them (they should really put a warning out for unsuspecting children). The zipline and bouncy pillow seemed fun for children, but I noticed there was absolutely zero staff available at any of the attractions. And the only first aid station was near the market on the other side of the farm. Even with adult supervision, the safety measures don't seem to be there. Lastly, the line for food is awful. We wanted to get the pumpkin spice cream we kept seeing people walk around with and ended up waiting an hour total for it. It was pretty much the only part of the farm that was staffed, and even then, it was super understaffed for a Saturday. The ice cream was good, but it lasts for a minute before it starts melting and dripping everywhere, which is really fast even for ice cream. The apple juice was okay and came in cute bottles. Overall, I wouldn't come back. For over $23 a ticket, there are many better pumpkin patches and farms you could visit for much less. But I suppose I can now say I've experienced it once. read more

Cute farm for kids to go berry picking, eat some sweet treats and pet some farm animals. Just tried picking strawberries in their open air greenhouse due to time of year and week.. liked that the strawberry plants were at the 4 feet tall level so no back pain caused by being hunched over .. the strawberries were juicy, sweet and plentiful .. we were the only pickers midday on a Wednesday.. was nice to have the place to ourselves but also made the vibe pretty dead.. prices are not cheap but in line with other similar farms.. there was a shop selling house made berry wines, jams and sweet treats. Ordered the strawberry cheesecake soft serve sundae but there was no one manning the ice cream stand for a while when we went to pick it up .. then when there was, they were sold out of cheesecake.. went for the strawberry cone instead.. the house made ice cream was incredibly delicious .. had fun picking blackberries from the wild blackberry plants on the farm perimeter as well - was a nice bonus for my out of town guests that don't have blackberries in their area,. I came here with C. She told me that Maan Farms have won many awards on their wine. Unfortunately when we showed up, no one was available in the winery section. Seems like that part was closed. They have lots of kitchenware for sale here along with hot food and some frozen food and jams. The frozen food included pies, samosa and soup. They also make their own jams. I came here for their berry wine which has won awards. Unfortunately there was no staff working at the wine tasting counter when we were there. So no wine for me. It was a fairly big farm with lots of pumpkins and squash's outside as we were here after Halloween. The store inside the barn was huge with a gift shop section. There was also a frozen food section besides the wine counter and a fresh food counter. I bought a butter chicken frozen pie and carrot cake. The carrot cake was really delicious with a nice frosting to cake ratio. The pie was a surprise. I didn't expect to see rice in the butter chicken filling. The crust was good too. Not worth the hype if you are there just for pumpkins. Selling tickets implies that you are going to experience something worth paying for. Filthy portable restrooms, zero staff outside in the pumpkin patch or with the animals. It was raining and the entrance to pumpkin patch was chained off and signage said you go through the store. So we went in; no one greeted us so we moved to the food counter and employee showed us another entrance after scanning tickets. No rabbits in rabbit area, and understandably the pigs were hiding inside away from rain. Long story short we had to take longer walk outdoors in the rain with no reason behind the detour. In the pumpkin patch there were speakers hidden throughout without any music playing. It all felt very odd, like we weren't welcome. I don't recommend this place for pumpkins or the pumpkin patch, there were so many friendlier places. read more

We attended a wedding at Mann Farms June 2025. The ceremony site was nice, grass and mountain view. However, the Farm decided to start up a noisy mechanical system right when the wedding party started walking down the aisle and left it on for the duration of the vows. Needless to say, we couldn't here anything but the noise... Not an organized operation for your wedding! read more

Aggressive and deceptive marketing on their social media and website pushing people to pre purchase tickets ASAP for the "Scariest Corn Maze In Canada 2024", or else they'll get sold out. My party and I did just that, purchasing our "Slaughterhouse, The Way Down & Homestead" tickets weeks beforehand as we kept seeing stories and posts to buy, buy, buy or else they're gone! It was soon discovered days leading up to the weekend we booked, they decided to do a flash sale and reduced the price of the tickets by 20%. That's over $25 USD that we could've saved for each ticket in our party, not including the 7.33% service they impose on your order. Extremely disappointed in the marketing as my party and I are outside of the country and we've saved up funding this last year to make a big road trip in the to visit this event. We're big fans of the farm (which is why I'm leaving two-stars) as I've personally been following them on social media for long time now. Moral of the review, don't purchase your tickets in advance from this business weeks before hand otherwise they'll net 35% more of your money. If you are looking for a 'U-pick' place for berries, especially strawberries and are willing to get to work to pick your crop, this is definitely the place for you. I have come here a few times, and was able to come recently during the Covid-19 era where it seems every business needs to do their part to make it feel safe for you as the patron to come to their establishment. I feel they have done a great job from the online booking of a time slot when you come, to providing their own baskets for purchase when you come to do the work. The place has arrows and lines showing clearly where you should stand and how far you should be. Also the food and cashier areas all have plexiglass for safety reasons. Once you get your basket (you are not allowed to bring your own now) you are told which field to go to, as the season varies you could be walking a few blocks, or across the street, just depends on the crops. And once you arrive to the field the person there will tell you which row to pick out of, to allow for safe social distancing. The whole process was good, and I felt safe and well distanced from other people who were picking on the day I was. Their fields are in great condition and easily able to be picked out, you don't have to be a pro, and this is a great activity for the family, just note if you do have a bad back... it could be made worse due to strawberries growing low, and there will be a lot of bending. After you have finished, you bring your bucket to the weigh station, they weigh, you pay (cash or touchless tap) and then you are off. This place is family run, and if you follow their social media channels or website, you will see the same people there... at the place of business. They do have a kitchen at the main stall where you can order hot food. If you are not the labour intensive type you can also buy your fruit right at the front. read more

The pumpkin patch by steveston highway in richmond is much better. This place was quite small and was only really good for people who like taking couple pics. There wasn't a lot of activities and just felt underwhelming overall. You have to cross the road to get to the corn maze, and even then it pales in comparison to the richmond corn maze. The food was very pricey as well. read more

Maan Farms & Winery is open all year round with a variety of activities from "U-Pick" strawberry picking, to wine tasting, to pumpkin picking, and more. Over the weekend my boyfriend and I took his little niece to the pumpkin patch and we had a really fun time. We booked in a 9:30 slot to avoid the crowds and are so glad we did because by the time we were leaving, the place was PACKED. On top of pumpkin picking, they have an assortment of activities fun for any age: marketplace for food and drinks, animal petting zoo, playgrounds, big inflatable trampoline, zip line, swings, corn maze, and more. Since we arrived quite early we had the entire playground area to ourselves, which meant we got to ride the zipline about 10 different times. After a few hours of bouncing around the playground, we picked up some food from the marketplace: butter chicken curry, hot dogs, fries. They also sell an assortment of jams, jellies, fudges that are made on the farm, as well as a frozen section where you can pick up some samosas and other treats to take home with you later, which is exactly what I did. The staff working were really friendly and all masked up. However, there was barely any social distancing in place when it started getting packed and no one was around to really enforce it. So visitors just a heads up: if you want to visit, avoid the busy times and come earlier. All in all, this is one of my favourite family-owned farms in BC. This place can be fun but it's WAY too expensive. The service sucks, there's not much to see on an average day, and the animals appear to be mistreated. Most are stuck in a small enclosure with nothing to eat or keep their minds stimulated. They posted the price of bubble waffle as if they are $6 but actually $12 when they ring it. Then their menu shows Chai tea is $3.99 but they charged $4.99. when we told their manager about she said "it should be $4.99" The $12 bubble waffle was gross. I love this family owned farm. I've enjoyed visits precovid so I decided to try "The Scariest Maze in Canada" for Halloween. They website promotes pre sale tickets as they are limiting tickets! I found that hard to believe. The place was packed!! People come to hang out at the wine bar, or enjoy the delicious food before and after the maze! Way more people then you would expect for "limited tickets". NOTE: If you don't have hard tix, you must go to another entrance to check in. They take your temp and offer masks at cost (which is a requirement). So if your tix said 8 pm start time, show up even earlier. We should up at 7:55 and almost missed "last call" because we weren't aware! Our group was in line to enter the maze (almost a 30 minute wait). While in line, the group behind us was not attempting any social distancing. There is no one enforcing it in line. After asking the group to give us some space, we were met with hostility. Not a good start. The maze itself if epic! The actors are phenomenal and work extremely hard. They never break character and scared the shit out of us. Once in the maze, the ensure we give the party ahead of us ample time. The scares are epic and so well though of! Great job!!! The scary "scenes" are so well though out and extremely frightful! Afterwards, you can head to the main area where the food/shop/ wine is. They have so many things to offer (fudge, pie, wine, samosa, etc.) but we noticed a few people not wearing masks. I'd go back after covid. It's a great, fun experience. I think their threats of being kicked out for not following the rules is empty. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Maan Farms for their pumpkin patch, but I could definitely see some aspects that need to be improved. The good: - Huge variety of pumpkins and squashes available for purchase. Big for carving or small and cute for decorations. All good quality- you won't really find any squished or rotting pumpkins in the fields. -The pumpkin spice ice cream was actually some of the best I've ever had. It's so creamy and the portions are huge. Very instagrammable. -Photo opportunities on wagons and near aesthetic wooden house structures -Fenced off animal section with some cool structures for the animals -Corn maze with some interactive elements -Masks required inside the farm area. Pre-purchased tickets with some effort to restrict numbers. -Lots of fun attractions for kids, including a huge tire structure, inflatable balloon for jumping, and zip line. Needs Improvement: -Crowd control not so good. Social distancing in lineups is questionable, but people are wearing masks. Pumpkin patch is okay and people are spread out. -Understaffed around the kids attractions and petting zoo animal area. When I went around there were not really any staff from what I could tell supervising the kids on the structures, or ensuring everyone was being respectful in the petting zoo area. -Pumpkin ice cream was a hefty $15 each. Would recommend sharing between 2-4 people. Don't be like me and have to finish an entire one by yourself. -Corn maze is a bit confusing and sometimes has exits to areas that probably should have been blocked off. We had our wedding here. First, it's a dream venue. It truly is a rustic farm with an adult playground next to it, and very pretty. Second, the food is fantastic. Our guests from NYC loved the venue. Unfortunately, we found Maan management to be dishonest and rude to work with. We paid over 27,000 CAD for our wedding and found it to be more expensive for the lack of service. If you really really want a wedding there, I would avoid phone calls and keep all communications in email. For us, we experienced the below: 1. A month after signing the contract, Maan management added several items in our contract that basically said the couple is responsible for all cleanup. This was not originally in the contract. Because it was too late to book another venue, we moved forward. Maan offered cleaning services for an additional $500. 2. Maan management thought I was white and said that cleanup by the couple is common in Asian weddings. I'm Asian and that is not true. 3. According to our vendors, *three* Maan employees in charge of setup called in sick the venue the *day of* the wedding. Our coordinator set up all the tables herself, which was not her job. She also started cleaning the venue, but was later told by Maan staff "you don't have to go crazy." Later Maan staff accused us of not cleaning their venue. It was ridiculous. 4. In an appeared attempt to keep our deposit, Maan farm management sent us pictures of their bar area after the wedding. They blamed us and our guests for the mess. Ironically, the bar is run by Maan staff and cleanup of the bar is listed in the invoice as responsible by Maan staff. We paid $1200 for bar services, provided our own liquor, and bought $500 of Maan alcohol (required by contract). 5. A week after the wedding, Maan also said guests vomited on the premises. We know our guests well, and no one mentioned vomiting on the premises. Maan also never provided photographs of the vomit. Vomit would have entitled them to the deposit, contractually. 6. Maan management said they would label our food with allergens over several conversations. On the *day of* the wedding, our coordinator was told by the Maan manager that "we don't do that here". This is not everyone's experience, but ours. Our wedding was a dream, but the behind the scenes mismanagement was a headache. read more

Decided id to come to Abbotsford one weekend for the corn maze and stopped by the farm shop for a quick dinner. The buddies walking around in horror costumes were pretty entertaining, but the rap music blasting vulgar terms with kids running around was a bit awkward. The food took a while to arrive but it was a great temp to eat and warmed me up after the cold corn maze. I ordered the Chickpea Curry ($12) and Fries ($5) which was a decently sized bowl of savory chickpeas with a bed of rice on the bottom. I was surprised they'd offer something like this on the menu, but was glad I got to try it. It wasn't amazing, but it filled me up. The main issue with this place was the music. I understand the youngings are running it so they can put whatever they want on, but when 12 year olds are running around and we got some obscurity blasting, it feels quite awkward. What an absolutely terrible waste of money. I arrive at the farm after driving an hour from the North Shore. When I arrive, I ask what animals are out and what's happening inside (before) I drop $20 a ticket. They told me baby goats, bunnies, pumpkins the whole works. So we get inside, the goats are behind a gate - no way to interact except they have circular holes cut out that you can barely stick your hand through to pet them... then we go to see the bunnies, the main thing my kid wanted to see... not 1 bunny in the bunny house. It's a bunch of old cheap man-made slides and old zip-line.. farm?? Are you kidding me?? I normally go to Maplewood Farms in North Van - it's $8.00 to get in, and you can feed and pet all the animals there. I will never go back to Mann Farms again, what a complete waste of time... but it gets better, I decided to share my thoughts with the owner and instead of her asking what she could do to possibly make the day better, she argues that the guy should have told us there's no interaction with the animals and perhaps I should wait around for the bunnies to come back?? Seriously.. what poor leadership. I have owned and operated my own businesses for over 25yrs. No matter what, my main priority is to make the customer happy, end of story. So not only did she not do anything at all- she also asked where our wristbands were to show we paid admission... I had them in my purse, bc my son has eczema and can't wear them or he has a skin rash from the material. So I took them out of my purse to show her, along with the receipt and she asked to keep them? What did she think.. was going to try and re-use them for another day?? No thank you, I'd rather do LITERALLY anything else other than go back to Mann Farms! Waste of money, gas and time. She was rude and the staff seem miserable. The ice cream was $15.00 for what amounts to the same size as a mini blizzard at DQ.. the best part, when I went on Google to see their reviews, this seems to be the common occurrence at this place. And to go along with the owners lack of how to run a business properly- they respond to everything with "Thank you for your feedback, we'll take all your comments into consideration going forward" here's a little tip for the owners at Mann Farms, instead of taking our comments into consideration and trying better next time, why don't you start by actually TAKING CARE of us? The ones that actually had the bad experience - if I had ANYONE come to my place of business and let me know they had a terrible time , the first thing I would do and tell my employees to do is issue a refund for entry ALONG with a sincere attitude of responsibility- I certainly would not ask for their wrist bands back. My goodness, where has the class gone? A time where people cared about their business and treating people right? People that work hard for their money and if they decide to spend it at your business, you show appreciation. I guess those days are gone. And please , Mann Farms, save the "I'm sorry" and actually fix the problem when it happens- in the moment, not writing a "FAKE" apology after the fact to try and sound good to everyone else. We tried their wine at the Chilliwack liquor store and were impressed. Thought it would be fun to check out their farm. We were disappointed. It was expensive to get in. Almost $30 for 2 adults and a 4 year old. It was 80 degrees out and most of the equipment was too hot to play on. You can feed the animals. But it is $2. Many of the tricycles were broken. They had the kitchen open and allowed for us to get cash back so that we could buy things from the vendors. Horrible customer service NOT COVID SAFE. my family and I got tickets for thanksgiving Monday and when we got to the farm there were people shoulder to shoulder everywhere you looked. No masks, no social distancing. Breeding ground for Covid exposure. We saw that and felt very unsafe so we left and I emailed them asked for and exchange thinking a weekday will be less busy. Went here during the pumpkin patch in October, my friends and I were supposed to go to the chilliwack one instead but we decided since we're driving from Vancouver, this one would be closer and with a corn maze. When we got there it was nice and friendly looking, went to the pumpkin patch and it seemed quite small but we still had a decent time there. We went to the maze during the day and decided maybe we should try the "haunted corn maze" during the night that started at 8PM but it was only 2PM by the time we got there so we had a lot of time to kill. There were farm animals and small little kid adventures but we felt too big for that. In the end we didn't end up going to the haunted maze due to the weather and that we were tired and bored of the place. This place would be a nice family trip but nothing for adults. read more

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Maans Farm. I live in Vancouver and am still willing to drive out there because it is totally worth it. The special events (Easter Safari, Goat Yoga, Pumpkin Patch, Strawberry picking, etc) are very well organized and so much fun!! The desserts they serve for themed events and the decorations are the cutest...they are what people call "instagrammable". I find I get better value with the VIP passes as I get a second visit pass. The frozen to go samosas and the wine are a must, they are a great treat later at home. This place is a hidden gem. Makes wonderful outing for kids and adults alike.
