That Butter Board with house wine jelly and the unforgettable Whipped Feta with Baked Peaches & Pistachios stole the show! Plus, their Mexican Street Corn Salad was the perfect fresh bite. So impressed by their commitment to local ingredients and sustainability. The service was wonderful with the staff - knowledgable with their offerings and checking in with us time to time. Thanks! The beautiful decor of their outdoor dining space made the experience even more special. It was a first time but not the last, next time we are in Abbotsford.

I will say it the way I would have said it if I were not at my Nephew's wedding…read more I don't give a poop if you own the property, THAT WE RENTED FOR A PRIVATE Function. Don't walk in with your dogs off leash and then demand the people who just paid your rent put there small completely non aggressive emotional support animal on a leash. Hypocrisy comes to mind, nautzy Germany, and PRIVATE FUNCTION all words racing through my head as she makes her demand. I didn't get a chance to let her know her off leash dog followed my wife and my dog for over one hour completely stressing both them out. When he wouldn't leave and HAD NO ONE WATCHING THE DOG I myself walked the property questioning people about the dog and how we get the owner to respect our space and train her dog. So your house is beautiful lady it's pretty shiny made of glass and all. then to insinuate that I'm not going to clean up after my dog is absolutely uncalled for. I have the only dog, our family watches her like 200 hawks and people who don't pick up after their dog need to be leashed outside themselves. Honestly it was a nice event I was enjoying myself as a person who struggles with social anxiety it's nice to be in a crowd were I was comfortable. (Private family event) That changed when you decide to demand My dog is leashed putting me in a situation where now all eyes are on me. Thanks for ruining my experience from that point on was a long anxiety attack. If you are going to rent out a space for a private function in the future and you are so concerned the owners won't pick up after their dog don't allow pets if you don't trust the people. Was the place clean? Absolutely Was it a nice appealing atmosphere for such an occasion? I would have recommended the place over where I was married. Until I met the owner. So in short. If the owner showed as much grace and elegance as the property this would have easily been a 5 star rating. If you are curious how this one incident ruined a day please read on. As a person who struggles daily with social anxiety my emotional support animal is my world, allows me to enjoy events like this wedding. I love my kids but I don't treat them like I treat my dog. She is my daughter, my rock, and medicine allowing me to feel normal in public. I would fight a hippo to the death with a spoon if I had to, so keep my dogs name out of your mouth unless your saying good girl.

Red, white, rose n even mead.yah ma friends-mead honey wine n that wasn't sweet . I will talk abour it in my other review but this is only for seasidepearl winery. I was so smitten by its external beauty that i forgot to take a picture of front. In fact they have knowledgeable sommeliers, magnificent patio with vineyard view n even the best cheese pairing. Litle more wine tasting fee but the glasses looked bigger. Let me tell you it not any regular tasting room but a classy one. The moment i walked in , i felt so out of place in my gym wear coz everyone including the associates were all decked up. I mean it was cool to see so many wine lovers of all age n group dressed so fine enjoying the glass of selected wine for them. The parking was full . Tasting room was full so we just thought of strolling around. Dave who is co owner waived us to come over to him n he made our day. He is an amazing human being with good sense of humour, love for his work, passionate about wine making, adorable owner of 3 handsome horses named ghost rider, He showed us the big spectacular event room / dinning room/ party hall. I mean u can turn it into anything. His horses n huge hall where he make and store wine. ( its not included in tours, we just got lucky) Trust me, i have been to many wineries but after this experience did i think of writing reviews about all wineries. After Brooks winery in oregon, they stood out. There are a few select vineyards around the country that go above and beyond to astound visitors and Seasidepearlwinery did it..

We had purchased a wine passport earlier in the day, which we had used at two previous wineries without issue. When we requested an outdoor table, our request was declined as not available to persons using the Wine passport!! and when we left, spots on the patio were still open. Instead, we were seated in a corner with only four chairs, and our designated driver was not offered a seat or a glass of water. This oversight made us feel uncomfortable and excluded our friend from the experience, thanks Austin!! I requested an additional chair, and a high stool was eventually brought, but it was much taller than the other seats and seemed thoughtless, especially since there were unused chairs available nearby. Throughout our visit, the server made no eye contact and appeared disengaged. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere during our wine tasting. Despite purchasing the wine passport and tipping generously at the previous wineries, we did not feel welcomed at this establishment and left as soon as possible. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that fell short of our expectations. A 7 out of 10 decor was a beautiful, unique establishment, a 10 out of 10 if we had a person serving who wanted to be there. Sorry if we did not meet your criteria for the person who opened the wine for us!! No, we will not be back, but we will certainly go back to Cannon Estate winery, where we had an amazing, engaging experience with our server, who made up for the ill-mannered, rude gentleman at Seaside Pearl Winery.

Right in middle is a barn used for events etc but not opened to general public. Could be rented. I am guessing owners house is in another corner as there is a bungalow on one side but i might be wrong. Wine yards are parallel on both side of the front yard. Its coz this is quite central to surrey and on the other side to vancouver. Well all have fun touring wine yards.

Maan farm offers a lot to see and do: a tulip forest, photo ops, a kid's play zone, animals, and wine tasting. When we arrived we wanted to do wine tasting. We got to try 4 different wines for $10 and were also given the option of a free tasting with the purchase of a wine. The employee, Alejandro was very helpful in answering all of our questions. He even explained that all fruit is grown on site. After wine tasting, we visited the animals. The animals were well cared for and in clean encounters. Finally, we visited the tulip forest which offered photo ops, tulips, and a peaceful environment. I couldn't recommend Maan Farm more!

We were there at 10 am and there was barely anyone there. This was great as I was able to take lots of pictures and pet animals. Since we came during BAE days, there were 5 kinds of baby animals for viewing: pigs, goats, sheeps, highland cows and rabbits. My favorite was the baby goats. They were 1.5-2M old and they were adorable running around. Beware that they will chew on your shoelaces or jackets. We got a few kind of food. The lemonade was mediocre and butter chicken Mac and cheese was a rip off at $15. There were 3-4 tiny pieces of chicken and the rest was just macaroni. The butter chicken taste was also very light. The samosas were yummy but they're somewhat spicy. My personal favorite was the carrot cake. You can actually see lots of pieces of carrots in it. It was $7 something a piece. The icing was a bit sweet, however. The entire farm was to be enjoyed by both adults and kids. My toddler really liked the bubble zone. She basically got to wave the twin wands around and out came big bubbles. We bought the membership which was $10 off if purchased prior to 4/12. We'll be back for summer and their pumpkin patch.
