I absolutely love Riverside Lanes! My 14 year old son just finished the Youth League ( which was his first time bowling in league) The staff there is amazing, they treat my child like their own. I love that I can let him go in there and they watch out for him and take care of him. Once he bowled extra games and didn't have enough money and Tyler covered what he was short! This alley is not bad and just okay. It's another old rural, retro alley with the dated ball return and "house" balls. The house balls consist of used, random old personal balls (some with really weird finger layouts; old Ebonites and Columbias...) and factory house balls in various condition. The lanes are pretty slick/slippery and the wood approach looks kind of old, "sanded" look and a little dry dirty. It looked like some league action was going on; that's always cool to watch. And if you're curious, I didn't bring my own Balls & Shoes... this was more conveinent to just using house equipment.... something I haven't done in a very... very.... very long... time... I'd say over 10 years... my fingers hurted. read more

Can't say enough good about this place. They have the largest number of lanes compared to many bowling alleys nearby they just opened with pretty good hours. They are following CDC guidelines keeping two to a lane and masks are required, but it is so great to see the kids and adults both back bowling. Leagues are now happening too. The staff that operate this alley are so thoughtful. They genuinely care about the kids that come to bowl regularly. Stop by and meet them. You'll have fun there and it is good exercise for older people! read more

We are new residents here in Mt Vernon and decided to out for a night with a group of friends. We did have a great time here but a few things that we noticed, Saturday night (which is always a busy night) only 1 bartender? I felt super bad for the gentlemen that was working. He had a line all the way out to the hallway and not 1 person helped him. There was a lady that just came around the corner yelling at him about how he needs to have a stack of cups full at all times and the only thing I can think about is "seriously? Looks like he has 0 help." That was 1 of my concerns, another was the shoes smell HORRIBLE! Like they are never kept up with. Also, when my friend and I wen't to the restroom there was someone washing her hair in the sink and brushing her teeth. I do have 1 positive thing to say though, all the workers here are AMAZING!!! read more

There was a huge fight last night or a bunch of thugs we're allowed to hang out for hours without spending money looking for a fight. They ended up jumping for guys breaking beer bottles over heads. Broken bones stitches was a really nasty site they can't keep their Patron safe. You always have to keep an eye on your valuables phone purses stuff is stolen all the time. I used to go here quite often I will never step foot in this place again they need to lose their liquor license read more

I am a regular league bowler and have been bowling at Riverside Lanes for 10 years. I find it a great place to bowl. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The lanes are kept up to modern standards. Since bowling alleys are disappearing in many areas we are lucky to have Riverside Lanes. read more

I really enjoy bowling and the lanes and balls aren't too bad but every time I have gone to riverside lanes the employees are always in such a bad mood and don't treat there customers right. I suggest going to a different bowling alley where the people that work there are actually friendly people. There is a bowling alley in Anacortes that has much more friendly employees.. Honestly, probably won't return. It was $70 for my sister,cousins and I to go bowling. We then asked if we could split the bill between the 3 adults, the gentleman asked who wanted to pay first. Good place to take kids to bowl. Lots of lanes. Friendly staff. They even had water with complimentary cups! I love that for the kids. We will be coming back to play soon. I love there place food is always good the got so many lanes and the have a bar for adults places to store your bowling equipment and a arcade with prizes of course the only thing is they work bye a bunch of smokers and stuff like people who take drugs and occasionally they will drop in and go to the bathroom and do whatever they do but enless that you should go there read more

My boys had the bowling tournament here. Staff were NOT helpful at all. I asked for a chair from the restaurant and I was told that non-rolling chairs are the only ones allowed outside the restaurant. They should be more accomodating to customers if they're going to have tournaments there, be helpful. Place stinks, food from the restaurant wasn't good... very small portion per order. Very accommodating to our youth bowlers in hosting tournaments/leagues and providing different oil patterns to practice on. Bob in the Pro Shop did a great job making sure my son's equipment was fit for his needs and abilities. Pork fried rice from the kitchen tops off our visits quite nicely! read more
