All of the animals were happy and well cared for. Dave is very kind and informative, we learned a lot and had such a good time. Plus you can see when you're there that it all goes back to caring for the animals, which is extremely pricey when you're doing it well. It's so neat to be able to touch animals that few people see, let alone pet. I have a picture of her as a small child, almost lying on top of a wallaby in the sun. So, when a friend from Seattle asked that I meet her halfway from my north end location, this was the outing I chose for the day. The tour wasn't as long as I remembered it being, and the marsupials weren't quite as snuggly. However, the variety was amazing. There were tiny baby lemurs on display, a mama wallaby with a baby in her pouch, burros, kissing alpacas, emus you could pet... it's a pretty unique experience. I only removed one star because I felt rushed through. In the past I don't recall feeling like I was being held to a tight time limit, and that was a little disappointing. Overall, it's a cool experience, and I highly recommend it-- especially for those with children.

They offer guided tours only, lasting about 40 minutes with ample opportunities to interact with the animals. We were able to feed wallabies, kangaroos, goats, llamas and donkeys. There were also lemurs, peacocks, chickens and more! Each animal stop came with fun facts, stories and even a trivia round. Fun for even adults looking for something new! Definitely check the farm out, Thursday to Sunday, and enjoy wildlife not usually seen in the PNW!

During the 8 1-week summer sessions and 10 family weekends, these kids get to enjoy an over-the-top sleepover camp experience that wouldn't typically be available to them if it were not for Camp Korey and the incredible volunteers, donors and staff that make it all possible. Boating, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, crafts, stage night, high-ropes course (to name a few)... all in one of the most beautiful settings Washington has to offer. They also have an amazing farm-to-table program... The kids spend time in the organic garden... Smelling, tasting, touching and learning about all the different produce that is used in the preparation of their healthful and fun meals. Camp Korey also hosts several community events (such as the recent Fall Festival) throughout the year.... So keep your eyes open for opportunities to experience camp for yourself. There are also many, many volunteer opportunities, if you are looking to give to a great cause.
