We recently contacted Luxurious Stones (a fabricator) for an unusual project, and they recommended my husband and I go to MSI for a manmade quartz slab that would work for our needs. We needed a huge slab that we could cut into two pieces that could also hold a LOT of weight. MSI was an excellent recommendation as they had a beautiful slab that was the right size (as far as I understand, it's unusual to be able to get a slab that large!). Their service was great when we went in. We had to check in first, and then we were helped right away and shown what was available given our requirements. The representative who helped us was also very friendly and professional. We were able to select our slab quickly . They offered to take the slab out so we could see it. While we were on a tight schedule and couldn't wait the 15-20 minutes for them to take out the slab to show us, I loved that they offered us that option. The store itself was laid out very beautifully. For those looking for slabs for a home remodel, MSI is a great place to go! read more

My wife and I have made several trips to MSI's showroom in Sacramento looking for countertops for a whole house remodel of our home in Elk Grove. Each and every time MSI's Sacramento staff has been completely fantastic in their level of knowledge and customer service - even in the face sometimes over the top questions and requests by anxious homeowners trying to select the "perfect" countertop materials (i.e., me). In the end, we decided to go with all MSI products because they are superior and their staff is truly top notch. We shopped MSI recently looking for granite for a kitchen remodel. We shopped there mostly looking for a plan B when another vendor closer to us was having some uncertainty about having the number of slabs of our first choice granite that we expect to need for our project. Kansi helped us and was super helpful and friendly. They have some really unusual granite and quartzite products we had seen nowhere else. They sell wholesale to fabricators so would not give us any price information to us directly, but our contractor was able to determine if a specific product fell within our budget allowance once we picked a product. The website has a very nice tool to visualize many of their products in your room. We did not buy from MSI as the closer vendor was able to get our first choice product in sufficient quantity. However, we would definitely consider MSI for future work. They also carry some prefabricated products if a project does not need a full slab, which apparently can keep costs down when project parameters are appropriate for that. I chose my kitchen slabs at MSI in Natomas. You can clearly see the full slab in the showroom and the lighting and overhead fans were great. Staff took the time to thoroughly answer all questions I had and gave pros and cons about the different types. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to this place. read more

The place is clean, staff is friendly, and they have a nice selection. However, the slabs they have out do not reflect what actually comes in. We waited months for a shipment and twice the design was way off. Maybe not their fault entirely, but you would think they would update their samples or inquire from the vendor etc. We even looked at pictures that were posted from another location before they were transferred and they were very misleading. read more

This facility and the staff are A+++++. First of all - everything is laid out so nicely. Their big granite slabs are in a well lighted room and every slab has a label - we have been to a couple of other show rooms where the slabs didn't have a label or the slab was kept backwards and it was harder to navigate between the rows - but these guys have done a very nice job. What puts this place over the top is the staff. I wish I had gotten her name to put down - but the service was outstanding. These guys are not directly selling anything but even then she made our visit so enjoyable, let us wander on our own and then came back and checked on us and got us a few samples of the things that we liked. We liked the big tiles that they had built the showroom floor with - but they didn't have it anymore - so she did research on the alternatives. She also wrote down 4-5 dealers in our local area. If I was in the tile business, the 1st thing I would do is to lure her away to come and work for my business! read more

I came across MSI after googling Quartz for our kitchen counter. Not realizing you had to buy through a distributor. Every time I called they were very friendly. I went to our local Tile Shop and looked at quartz samples and noticed they sold MSI Quartz. I picked out some samples and called MSI to see if I could come to the showroom to see the slabs. I was happy to be able to see it and so impressed with the displays and so much to chose from. The showroom was super clean and so well lighted which made it so easy to see all the beautiful Quartz.
