    Orange Chicken, beef Lo Mein

How could this be ranked only a 2.5?!?! I highly recommend their beef lomein & orange chicken! I often find that lomein at other places is not salty enough, taking away the flavor. I've been looking for a new Chinese restaurant, since my last one went under during covid...Well I've found it!!

There ya have it folks! You've been warned.... # 8 Piece Crab Rangoon

Very sorry I didn't check reviews first before ordering Uber Eats from this place. Crab Rangoon were EXACTLY as previous reviews describe. Very little filling. I was trying to take advantage of their Buy 1 Get 1 Free promotion. In addition, the Chicken Lo Mein was hot upon arrival but didn't look or taste fresh at all. Needless to say, I was super disappointed. Lesson learned.

I'll give them a (barely) 3. Food should be eaten within the day. Try not to save the food for tomorrow's work lunch because some of the food will get a bit funky. Shrimp fried rice - was still piping hot for a good 20 minutes AFTER I got home. Lots of shrimp. The rice was browned with soy sauce but there was barely any flavor. It was a pretty bland. I saved some for the next day and immediately noticed the drop in quality, and it started smelling a tad funky. It was even blander the second day. Steamed dumplings - 10 small pieces (at least, for me). I thought they were good, especially with the accompanying seasoned soy sauce. Crispy beef - the batter was crispy. However, the beef was quite tough and hard to chew. My jaw was hurting while chewing some of the pieces. The juices that oozed out tasted and felt chalky on my tongue, as though it was batter paste. The sauce tasted good and I liked the crispiness of the beef, but I didn't like the chalky aftertaste or the toughness of the beef. Veggie lo mein - bland. Like the fried rice, this was piping hot for about 20 minutes AFTER I got home. If you get this, I recommend you not keep this in the fridge past day 1. Chicken wings - crispy and alright. I liked them. Chili oil/paste condiment - looks like it was made in house. The aroma was not familiar to me and smelled funky -- a tad fishy. I thought it was like the chili oil at Chinese restaurants, only thicker. Boy was I wrong. Overall, I found their food to be just "meh". The appetizers (wings and dumplings) were better than the entrees. Out of the entrees I had, the crispy beef was the best, despite how hard the beef was, because at least it had flavor and was actually crispy. What surprised me the most about the food I ordered was how much shrimp they put in the fried rice. It was a lot. Lastly, parking sucks balls. It can be tricky to back out of the parking lot and the parking lot is very narrow.

Delivery service is lacking here... they call me before they arrive so I can wait for them outside my apartment building...they used to bring it up to my unit. That's fine if they don't come up anymore, but don't make me come outside and wait for you to arrive when you're driving up the street! Food isn't what it used to be.

Ordered delivery. The food was actually good. I ordered shrimp and broccoli, beef w/oyster sauce, sesame chicken, and beef lo mein. The shrimp in my shrimp and broccoli was full size shrimp. The portions were reasonable. I Only had two small issues hence the 4 stars. My crab Rangoon had little filling and the delivery driver wouldn't bring my food to my hotel room which cost him $10 of his tip. My order was $48 and some change. I had $60 and was leaving the change for a tip. After he called me from in the lobby and told me he wasn't coming up and he called so I could come down I switched out one $20 for a $10 and have him $50 instead. My whole purpose for ordering delivery. If I wanted to leave my room I would've went and picked up my order. Edit* I found out after my husband came in that they won't allow delivery drivers up so I will call the restaurant and let them know if he comes back out I have $10 from him.

We ordered takeout, but there are also places to sit. Food came out within 10 minutes and is a really solid bang for your buck; good taste and really quick. fried rice that comes w the entrees is meh, but honestly everything else was pretty damn good. A little surprised. Nothing special about the looks of the restaurant, but it's definitely one of those "hole-in-the-wall" Chinese places that will satisfy your Chinese food cravings.

FOR YOURE OWN GOOD DO NOT EAT HERE!! HEALTH HAZARD This is what I found in my food completely disgusting , not sure whether it's a maggot or worm but whatever it is I will definitely not be eating there again. And they had the audacity to offer mean another meal... never again !!

I knew I wanted something light and fresh, so when I saw Simply Banh Mi, I was intrigued. Based on the Google images alone, I could tell they were a small, family-owned spot. I saw they had their own website, so I clicked on the link. There is a review down below that labels their website as "not user-friendly". And sure, you could call it that... but I think the person who posted that sort of missed the point. The amount of personality and story-telling posted to the website is honestly what sold me. (Don't expect to find a menu or Order Online feature there, but if you want to learn a bit of the story behind this place, it's worth the 5-minute read.) After reading through it, I knew I had to go support. I placed an order online through DoorDash and set out for my 5-minute walk about 20 minutes later. When I walked in, I spotted an empty table in the back corner where I knew I'd stake my claim. I went to the register, where I saw what I assumed was my order already waiting for me. I assumed correctly, so after the nice lady confirmed the contents of my order and handed me my bag, I set off for the back table. I popped my headphones in and started opening my Spring Rolls. The ingredients were fresh, they were rolled tightly (making them easier to eat), and I loved that the peanut sauce was a bit thinner than others I've had (making them easier to dip). I had just finished my first one when I noticed one of the staff touching tables and asking how everyone was doing. Everyone was great, myself included. Once I finished the second one, I decided to head back to my office and eat my Lemon Chicken Salad there. Before ordering, I saw a lot of comments complaining about the portion sizes, specifically with regard to protein amounts. I paid $3 for extra chicken and I'm glad I did. I was happy with the amount of protein I was given, but I could see how it may not be enough if I hadn't added extra. The chicken itself was juicy and flavorful and the veggies were crisp and fresh. There was just ONE thing missing and that was the jalapeños I selected in my online order, but I don't take points away for that. All in all, I was happy with what I got in exchange for the price I paid and I will definitely be back on a treat-myself day. TL;DR: Eat here!

It only took a quick 10 minutes to receive our entire order, which was 3 burgers, a crispy fried chicken sandwich, loaded fries, and 2 milkshakes! I was very happy with how efficient the service was and the most important part, how delicious every bite was! The smashburgers are made with 100% halal beef and they come out HOT with perfectly crispy edges on the patties and a juicy center. We ordered 3 burgers and each of them stood out in their own way. You can get a single, double, or triple patty burger and add whatever toppings to it too. The jalapeño burger was the star of the show, it had a such a nice and spicy kick to it. I wasn't expecting much but this burger had HEAT! Another favorite was the Juicy Lucy. It was packed with grilled onions and the patty was stuffed with cheddar cheese. A super messy and cheesy option that was definitely worth every bite! I liked that Jon's Joint offered other options too such as loaded fries and fried chicken sandwiches. What I found unique is that for the loaded fries, you can get it with falafel and make it spicy! This time, they had run out of the falafel so I am excited to try it next time. If you're in Arlington and craving a casual burger spot, you need to go to Jon's Joint. You'll get quick service and a delicious meal!
