Upon arrival, they have not prepared my food yet (which I prefer) so I'm glad I got it hot and fresh. CHICKEN CHICKEN - 15.54 This grain bowl costed 6 credits on ClassPass (about $12-13), and it's big enough that I could split it into two meals. However, I'm not sure if I would want to pay $15.54 (+ tax) for a fast-casual, though. Both hummus and tzatziki dips were delicious and added to the flavors of the bowl because it was pretty dry with it. There was a fair amount of toppings like red cabbage slaw and corn salsa, but the bowl was overall pretty meh. I appreciate the double chicken protein, but more so for the protein and less for the taste. Overall, this was just OK. Mezeh always delivers a ton of tasty food at a decent price and this location doesn't disappoint. I usually get the steak shawarma rice bowl and add a ton of toppings. The location is a little hard to find in the mall since it's not in the main food court but it's near the Chick Fil-A. Staff is friendly here and the food is fresh even in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. There's some seating inside and even a few outdoor seating if the weather cooperates. Parking isn't free in the mall parking garage but it's only $1.50 or so for three hours so that's not bad. I'm glad I finally found this location and I'll be back here again. read more

This evening I got my junior bowl and was given the dregs of the Chicken Kabob so I had to ask for a bit more when they refilled the pan and then at the end I asked for the Tahini sauce and they gave me Tzatziki which is totally different. When I complained they said that was what I asked for instead of offering to remake the bowl correctly. The Grand Opening of Mezeh was this week and I was so excited! Apparently all of Arlington was excited too because the line was LONG! Luckily I've had Mezeh before and I knew the wait was a worth it. There was also a great deal where the bowl is free with a drink purchase. Staff went down the line passing out juices for waiting customers to try. I absolutely love this place! What an amazing addition to the Ballston quarters mall! We stumbled upon this establishment after browsing the Ballston quarters for some late night dinner. We personally love Mediterranean food, given that it was a fast food joint we did not hold high expectations. Surprisingly we were very amazed at the quality of the meal! Essentially, this is a Mediterranean cuisine quick eats food chain served with a "chipotle" service model. We decided to go with the bowl, and let me just preface that you get a bang for your buck! For the bowl, you first select your base of a grain or salad (we went for the delicious fragrant basmati rice!). Secondly you select a protein - you can even mix and match (we went with the steak shawarma and lamb kafta). The lamb kafta was absolutely divine and not overly salty! Paired with the steak shawarma and toppings, this was the perfect pair! Lastly you get to choose an *unlimited* number toppings. Game changer. They literally loaded us up on everything...yes, we got nearly everything! From the multiple delicious different types of hummus, baba ganoush, baked crunchy chickpeas...and the list goes on. If anything, please make sure you get the greek beet dip on top! It is divine and a personal favorite. To top all of this off, the server was an absolute delight. She evidently knew we first-timers and was very patient walking us through the process along with serving generous proportions!
