The amount of work they got done was staggering: they removed all of the old soil, rocks, and weeds and replaced it with quality soil. They laid the irrigation so that each plant has it's own little spigot. Then, the plants arrived - 100 of them! After they were planted, mulch was applied and TA-DA! Best lawn in the neighborhood!! They followed up with a few visits to check the irrigation and make sure everything was good. We are in the height of August summer now, and now at about 6 week mark, the plants are still thriving, the leaves are nice and juicy, and the flowers are growing. Almost immediately, it started to attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Beautiful, AND good for the environment!!! This was a very expensive project for me - I've been waiting to do it for 7 years! But I am delighted with the results.
