Our HOA Board used Yelp to identify general contractors to bid for the repair work. We had five contractors come out and submit proposals. Before meeting with the contractors, we sent them a rain leak report from a specialist which identified the location of the leak and the areas that needed repair. When we had our initial meeting with JS Vision, the Board was impressed with our interaction with their representative Amir. It was clear he had a real understanding of the problem before we met, and provided a clear outline of the steps and process needed to fix our issue. He also provided the quote in a timely manner, whereas some of the other contractors took weeks to provide their proposal. After review of the proposals, the HOA Board unanimously chose move forward with JS Vision. Amir and JS Vision were the most knowledgeable during our initial meeting, and their proposal was competitive. Once the construction started, JS Vision make sure we had the proper LA City permits, and the repair work was done to current city code. The workers JS Vision utilized were courteous, responsive, and always cleaned up at the end of the day which, was appreciated by all residents of the building. The repairs performed on both the exterior and interior of our condo building were high quality, and it was clear JS Vision takes pride in their work. Amir continuously checked in with us during the project to provide updates on timing, and quickly addressed and resolved any concerns we brought up during the repairs. I highly recommend JS Vision Construction. This is a contractor who delivered what they promised, and are very capable for any condominium repairs. After the Eaton Fire, heavy winds and rain had blown away and damaged shingles on our roof. Water began leaking into one of our bedrooms and left water spots on the dining room ceiling. What could have been a nightmare repair project turned into a smooth and reassuring process thanks to the team at FHS Construction. From the start, the crew was thorough in their inspection and diagnosis. They quickly identified the source of the leak and checked for hidden damage in the roof and ceilings. To prevent more water from coming in, they put up a temporary cover right away until the full repair could begin. The roof repair itself was handled professionally from top to bottom. Damaged shingles and underlayment were removed and replaced, everything was thoroughly inspected and sealed tightly to prevent future problems. Inside the bedroom, they removed water-damaged drywall and insulation, treated and cleaned areas affected by moisture and mold, and ensured the space was completely dried out before restoring it. When the remediation was complete, they patched everything up with new drywall, fresh paint, trim work and new carpet so the room looked as good as new. The same attention was given to the dining area ceiling where water spots had formed. The crew was consistently punctual--showing up on time every morning--and respectful of our home.
