Honestly at first I was skeptical about hiring an interior designer. My project was moving from a large apartment into a smaller one. I needed my new apartment in Santa Monica to function as all the necessary living spaces, as well as an office space, including vanity space and laundry all within 650 square feet while remaining chic and guest ready. I am a perfectionist and needed so many items included without the space feeling crowded. Lucie went above and beyond to help deliver my dream space within my budget. We hired Lucie and her team for a pretty big undertaking: we needed to come with a plan to re-arrange the shape of some rooms in our new house, add a bathroom and closet (out of what was a bedroom) and we needed a pretty big design overhaul in most other places in the house. Moreover we had a pretty specific aesthetic we were going for to match the style of the house. I am someone who researches and thinks very deeply about any big thing like this, and I can honestly say I was shocked by what an amazing job Lucie and her team did on all fronts. Everything is perfect in a way I didn't think was possible on a big job like this (especially surprising with a particularly bold look.) But they totally nailed it and helped make decisions I never would have thought to make. Furthermore, even though though Lucie had a lot of strong suggestions to begin with, whenever my wife and I had some weird idea we wanted to make work instead, Lucie would totally re-adjust and come up with an even better version of our weird idea. I've made some decisions on this remodel that Im not sure if I should have spent my money on in retrospect. But I am being 100% truthful in saying that is not the case with hiring 22 Interiors; they really were worth every penny. My husband and I had such a great experience working with Lucie and her team at 22 Interiors! We moved into a fairly large new construction house in late 2020 with almost no furniture, and Lucie and her team turned it into an amazing home. They helped us choose paint colors and wallpaper, select new furniture, install window treatments, replace light fixtures, and decorate with rugs and accessories. Lucie has an incredible eye for design and really paid attention to how we wanted the space to look and function. The end result was so much better than I could have envisioned! Lucie furnished and designed our entire 5 bedroom house in Santa Monica. We had moved across the country into new construction which didn't have some of the basics like window shades and bathroom mirrors. Not only was Lucie very attentive to detail and our needs to get some of the basics in, but more importantly, she worked quickly while being focused on our tastes and vibe. She (and Melissa) designed every room incorporating some of our old furniture and art with the new, and the result was exceptional.
