There was no unsweetened tea so I asked for a cup of water, a request which she ignored. You will get your pizza, just don't expect any water. I guess you just have to die of thirst. I ordered a slice of white pizza with spinach/onions and a magherita slice. The crust is light, airy, crispy and nicely cooked. The only thing was I had to hold it up, or else the toppings would have flopped right off. The flavor is pretty good for both slices. I kind of wish they had more ricotta on the white pizza. I think there was less cheese on the slices, but as a result there was a lot less oil coming from the slices. Even when I looked at my plate I could see no oil stain remnants that you typically always get from most pizza. There was a definite char on one of the slices. I don't exactly love it to be charred really, but it didn't make the pizza taste horrible. Badamos is a good and unique restaurant. It is worth going at least once, or twice. This is what I like about Chip and Kale: Food is delicious. Ingredients seem fresh and the opposite of processed food. Price is reasonable and less per serving than other plans I have tried. No ongoing subscription. Food kits arrive frozen which gives me flexibility of what to make and when. The directions are simple and very clear. Even the ingredients are numbered. Minimal packaging. I have been washing and will reuse most of the ziplock bags. I will probably keep two of the totes for personal use and return the others to Chip and Kale. Stand alone deserts offered. Apple strudel looks delicious.
