Enjoyable Pizza (better than many of the chains), longer wait time and average pricing. Pizza and Cheese bread were really good and I definitely recommend if you haven't tried before. Pepperonis have the nice crisp laid upon a blanket of cheese and a thin-ish crust. The cheese bread takes more cheese than bread (: It seems like they are understaffed and under stocked. When I went on a Friday evening, they were working skeleton crew and were talking of closing early because they were out of supplies, which cause an added 30 minutes to the additional wait time. Ordered takeout from Mr. T's tonight for the first time. We got The Famous Newman half salad and a 14" Mr T's 3 pizza. The salad has its own special house dressing- everyone loved it! It was a light salt dressing, with loads of veggie toppings including carrots and celery which I was very surprised how much I liked. I recommend it! For the pizza, "Mr T's 3" pizza includes pepperoni, crumbled sausage, and mushrooms. Square cut slices. Seriously so delicious!! The crumbled sausage was out of this world. My boyfriend found this on a humble and ordered it. He got their works pizza, well done. I am from Dayton and grew up on Cassanoes pizza. This place reminds me of home, but in a very good way. My dad is a pizza snob and I had him try it and he loved it. The staff, which was just a girl by herself or it may have been more and I just didn't see them, was cordial. I gave it a solid 4 just because my experience wasn't out of this world amazing, but me giving four stars is still an amazing score! read more

Was travelling to Ohio for work and due to a flight delay I ended up getting in pretty late and was more than pleased to find Mr. T's Pizza was open! I checked out a few of the pics and the website and was drawn immediately to the "T's ALL MEAT!!" Pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon, and ground beef. Yes, most of you will ask yourself, what is this guy thinking?! But after a full day of dealing with flight issues, I'm not sure what could be more of a comfort food. If you can think of something- don't tell me, haha! Plus! A quick google search said Pizza was a big dish to get in the area to my surprise! I called my order and 20 min later I was standing at the low key set up Mr. T had with a freshly baked me pie in front of me ready to fully welcome me to the Ohio area! The pie came stacked with toppings, each bite was a mixture of hot cheese and comfort meats. Next time I fly into Ohio, I know exactly where I'm going first! Oh! And pro-tip, check the website to see what the specials are! Sometimes it's a free upgrade in size, which is sadly why I couldn't give this spot a 5- I got a size increase cause I was hungry, but on my way out I noticed that my exact order could've been upgraded in size for free that day. Mr. T's is fairly close to my work so I figured I would give it a try. The signage isn't great and parking is limited, but the pizza sure is good! I ordered a 12 inch pepperoni and it was $12 which is a little pricey, but I would say it is worth a try. They put a nice spice on their pizza which gives it a unique flavor. If you grew up in Gahanna in the 70s-80s, Mr. T's was surely a staple of your diet. Not because it was the only pizza place in town (it wasn't) but because it was the best pizza in town. It was sad to see it close. Now, 20+ years later the old owner's son has reopened. It is my childhood relived. I ordered a deluxe pizza and an Italian sub. It's the same recipes and ingredients from the same supplier of days past. The pizza has a thin crust that was buried with homemade toppings - impossible to eat without some spills. The sub had crispy bread and fresh toppings drenched in a delicious Italian dressing. Mr. T's will change the way you look at pizza (trust me on this - after the original closed I tried all kinds of other pizza looking for something similar but could never find it). Grandsons directed us to this incredible place. Their parents loved Mr. T's many years ago and were so happy that it is open again! One grandson loves the Italian sub, another, the meatball sub. Their uncle loves the pizza sub. Everyone loves the jalapeño poppersExcept one grandson loves the pretzel bites. I was just in Gahanna visiting family and stopped by Mr. T's a couple times to try their food. Great pizza, wings and subs. The crust on the pizza was perfect and I loved the old world pepperoni. The pizza is awesome but they have the worst cheese steak I've ever had. It's basically two dry hamburger patties with Italian dressing peppers and lettuce. Just stick with the pizza. read more

Hoping I caught them on an off night but the pepperoni pizza was flavorless. They also took twice as long as they said they would and weren't wearing gloves, masks or hair nets in the middle of a pandemic. That being said it is affordable and the spicy garlic wings were good, but also the tin appeared to be cooked in the broiler because black crud was stuck to the bottom. Ordered a large 1/2 pep & sausage and 1/2 cheese and a Italian steak sub and the large seemed more like a medium with what looked like crumbled bacon bits and didn't taste like sausage. The edges of the pizza was burnt, the bottom of the pizza was soft and the flavor was so so, very disappointed. My husband got the sub and he said it was nasty....didn't know the steak sub meant 2 meat patties which seemed like they were cooked 2 days ago and were reheated. Won't be returning. read more
