The man who answered all my questions in a manner that wasn't rushed at all (whom I believe is the owner) was so pleasant. When I got there I quickly learned that the entire staff is that way! I couldn't have been happier since the last two salons (which are much closer to my house) were horrible experiences. The prices were unbeatable as well. I left the salon and accidentally left a very expensive piece of jewelry and one of the guys came racing out to my car to catch me to give it to me. Thank goodness for honest people! The lady on my pedi was sweet but seemed as if she didn't know what she was doing when it came to the chrome polish so the chrome powder isn't properly rubbed all the way in on my nails or toes. However, I'm not even a week into wearing this gel and two of my nails have already ripped at the edges. This is new for me because every other time I've gotten gel on my natural nails, I've never had any sort of snags/tears in my nail--the gel always has provided extra strength and protection. I think the issue lies in the application. I noticed both times I went here, the techs applied very thin layers of gel and only two layers of color. Other salons I've been to must apply 3 layers or maybe just thicker layers in general, because my gelled nails look so thin after application they look like they've been regularly polished. Additionally, the coats are so thin they're actually transparent in spots and don't give full coverage throughout.
