I would give this 5 stars if allowed ! Rich helped immediately in an emergency, supplying different options, sharing his staff, and getting it done for a very reasonable price. From out of state, now back on the road !!! Thanks!! read more

If I can give him no stars, I would this guy took full advantage of my father-in-law 81 year-old Vietnam vet Richard, the manager he verbally quoted him $700 to replace the parts ended up getting a bad part and charged him double the labor cost over $1500. This dude Richard the manager is a snake. I would not go anywhere near this place. read more

We are from Philadelphia, PA and my daughter attends college in Wilson, NC. Her car was overheating so she took it to Mr. Tire. They told her that she needed to replace her thermostat and charged her over $300.00. Our mechanic in Philly told us that he extremely over charged her & that the cost of a thermostat is $20.00. It's a disgrace to take advantage of a young female. read more

Disappointed and feel cheated today. On 5/24/19, I stopped by Mr Tire in Wilson to inquire about the warranty of the tires I purchased just over 6 months ago from the same location. 6 months ago, I requested the Pantera A/S tires and set an online appointment a few days out, which was confirmed. When I arrived for my appointment, my car was taken to the back and prepped. Then I received some news that they were out of the Pantera tires but they had some "Ironmen" tires that were an alternative to the Pantera tires. I asked if those tires had the same warranty as the Pantera and was told by the front desk rep that they had a 50k tire warranty. If I knew then that they didn't have a mileage warranty, I wouldn't have purchased them. This information was also printed on my receipt that shows the tire information and a 50k tire warranty. Fast forward to today (5/24/19), some months later, with 2 tire rotations and just over 9,900 miles, I was advised by my local dealership I needed new tires already because all 4 were severely worn out. I didn't believe them until I was shown the thread bars sticking out on all 4 tires. I stop by Mr Tire later this afternoon to inquire on the mileage warranty and the front desk rep tells me these "Ironmen" tires do not have a mileage warranty, despite a previous rep stating the opposite AND a receipt that states the tires have a warranty. I was also told the tires were of "lower quality" than the Pantera A/S, despite also being told previously they were an alternative tire of similar performance to Pantera. So which is it? Was also told it seemed the "mix up" occurred because of me booking the appointment online for Pantera A/S tires but it wasn't apparently changed in the system to reflect the Ironmen tires "no warranty" label on the receipt. This makes no sense to me because if this was indeed true, why was I (1) advised that the tires were under a 50k road warranty initially and (2) that this wasn't reflected on the final receipt print out? If that was the case, there was plenty of opportunities for the rep to speak up and state that there wasn't a warranty on the tires and I would have declined these tires before they were put on. Stating to the rep from today that I only got 9900 miles off these tires, I was told that the tires were of really "low quality" and it was their cheapest tires and there was nothing that could be done since these tires don't have a warranty. I would have still expected at least 15k-20k off "cheap" tires but less than 10k is ridiculously disappointing and makes me wonder if the tires were defective from the beginning. It's also disappointing that I used my Mr Tire Credit Card to pay close to $500 on these tires and the installation+alignment and I'm still making payments on tires that are now no longer of much use and about 6 months old. If I was told up front about this, I could have opted for a better tire brand from the location with a warranty. But after years of being a repeat customer going to this location for auto work and tires, this ordeal and how it was handled has changed my mind completely about returning and going elsewhere, if this is the current standard of doing business. read more

It's a problem when you have to change tires due to destroying one with a bent axel on your fifth wheel. Mr. Tire came to our rescue changing our spare to a new rim, putting a new tire onto the spare rim, and then patching a tire on our truck. It doesn't sound like much but everyone was very nice, did their job quickly and the prices were more than reasonable. Thank you Bruce and staff! read more

I had a slow leak in my rear passenger tire and took my car to Mr. Tire on Forest Hills Road, where we've always gone for tires and tire issues since about 2006. So they take my care, lift it and inspect the tires and comes back to me to say that the tire can't be repaired, it has to be replaced. I start thinking that in almost 15 years they've never patched a tire. I decided to go over to Discount Tires on Raleigh Road in Wilson. They take a look and find a small nail. They patched the tire for free. Folks go do business with businesses that respect you and doesn't want to rip you off. read more

Wonderful service and quick. I can honestly say I didn't feel beat in the head when given recommendations and I will definitely be back.

Absofuckinglutely terrible. Words cannot describe how shitty of a job they do. Got my wife's oil changed and first off was extremely overpriced. Not sure a dealership would've been cheaper. They have no respect for customers, considering they treat them like shit. The manager is a complete dickhead. They left the drain plug loose. and fill valve open. Please spend your money anywhere else read more

Manager DJ Wallace and his maintenance crew were awesome. Having to stop half way through a road trip and not being from Wilson, they figured out what was wrong, fixed it, and got me back on the road way faster than I expected, as if I was a long-time customer. They were all polite, friendly, and extremely helpful. Five stars for sure! I'm so glad I stopped here. read more

This place was amazing. We were traveling across the state when we realized our tire was dangerously low. We found Mr. Tire and showed up without an appointment on a busy Saturday. They got us in within an hour and ended up not charging us because all they had to do was patch it up. Everyone was so nice and super helpful. Highly recommend! read more

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a automotive establishment. Took 2 hours + for an oil change and inspection. All the time they kept trying to sell me something else. Thay first told me they had to reject inspection because of a tire. Then they changed there mind and said they would pass it. Then when i questioned them on why it was taking so long to do these 2 simple things and rejected buying anything from them like tires, that's when i heard the manger tell the so called mechanic to fail it. At the time i didn't realize that he was talking about my vehicle. Then the manager didnt even have the guts to tell me until i paid the bill, walked out and realized they charged me 17.95 to fail the inspection and went back in and confronted him on it. Also realized he didnt give me the inspection document to take to DMV. I should have known not to go there because no other cars were there when i got there. What other respectable automotive place do you go to and not have others in front of you at 1:30 in the afternoon? The kicker was, right after they drove my jeep into the bay area, the Doogie Howser kid mechanic took a lunch break while my Jeep just sat there. Plus there where 4 employees working at the time. Only one other doing anything. The manager and his side kick just sat around watching TV. I have never taken my vehicle anywhere to have oil changed and inspection that took longer than 40 mins. or less. After i calmed down i called an old friend of mine that managed that business and he told me that's what they are told to do by upper management, to keep the customer there for as long as possible until they buy something else like tires, etc. All yeah, Doogie broke my oil cap and tried to get me to buy one from there. Oh no, I'll walk across the street and get one from Orielly's b4 they sucker me on that one. And to top it all off, 5 mins after leaving, my Check Engine light came on, now i have to wonder how much more they are gonna cost me for something they probably did under the hood to try and charge me more. It was a total nightmare going to Mr. Tire. Never, ever again will i ever go back there or to another one. This was my first experience with Mr. Tire and last. We sent a complaint to Mr. Tire Corporation and haven't heard anything back. Not expecting to from other complaints i have seen. They scan sites like this one and want you to call them instead of them contacting you back from a complaint made directly to them. I only gave them 1 star because i have too. I hate to see places like this rip people off. If people would stop going to places like this one or even do the old fashion picketing outside the place of business, then maybe consumers can get respect from where we choose to spend our money. A very dishonest business. read more

They help us when we were in a bind. We had major tire damage on our return trip visiting family in PA. They accepted our business 15 minutes before close and stayed until nearly 9 to finish the work. We would return if we were in their area. read more
