We had a military move and the movers damaged our walls and floor. The moving company sent a Mr. Third Party worker to repair the damage. The damage was fairly simple...the walls were scratched and the wood stairs were chipped. The worker arrived Monday morning and said he would be back once the paint dried. I called the moving company on Wednesday because we never heard back from the worker. Mr. Third Party said I needed to make another appointment to have him come back. I protested and they sent the worker back out that day. The worker mismatched the paint on the walls and failed to fill in some of the scratches. It wasn't worth going through the process of having him come back. My father re-did everything and all is well. If you have to pay for this company's service...DON'T! If you have a choice...DON'T choose them!!!!! read more

I used this company to help unload my u-pack trailer. They were actually the company that U-Pack hires (but it was much pricier to subcontract them through U-Pack). I had less than 11 feet of the truck filled, but had some big things that were important to me, and I was moving into a third floor apartment and didn't want to do it myself. The group of 3 men were there when they said they would be. One man (Chris, the newbie with the crew) carried up about 90% of my boxes--however, he was ON IT and worked his butt off (he got an extra tip during one of his many trips up my stairs. The other two movers carried the 4 or 5 bigger items. The men were pleasant, joked around, and got all my stuff moved within the 2 hours we had allotted for my move. Some of my furniture had some marks, but that could have happened at any point on the move across the USA. The breakdown was: * $100 per hour (not including their travel time to get to my place--some places charge for this--WTF--be sure to ask!) for a minimum of 2 hours. * Three movers come instead of two. *$20 tip per mover, with $10 extra for Chris. Total I paid $270. Probably the best money I paid during my move. I would use them again and would recommend them. I looked into a LOT of options, and this group seemed the best fit for my needs. I did not hire Mr. Third Party Services, as MSS Relocation (working through United Van Lines & Suddath) contracted this firm to reassemble my pool table. Their name should be Mr. THEFT Services as I strongly suspect that one of their employees stole my Rolex watch since we caught him coming out of the bedroom, where he had no business being and where the watch was stored in a watch winder in the closet. No one else, other than the policeman, was in our house that day that the watch went missing. Mr. Third Party totally "blew off" my calls about the theft and, so far, MSS Relocation and United/Suddath have done nothing and communicated very little with me regarding this theft. I would NOT recommend any of these companies, certainly not Mr. Third Party Services - worst customer service ever!! I guess that I will now have to get a lawyer and/or PI involved. read more

This company was contracted through Moving Staffers and ABF UPack to pack my ABF trailer. My expected appointment time was between 1-2pm on 6/25/15. At 1:50pm on 6/25/15, a female rep from Mr. Third Party called saying the movers were running behind and she did not know when they would arrive for my move. I said okay and asked if they would call me when they were on the way. She said they would. The rest of the business day came and went and still no movers. Finally, at 9:30pm on 6/25/15, 2 movers show up with no advance phone call that they were on the way. UNACCEPTABLE. Are you seriously telling me that the most professional company Moving Staffers could provide is so terrible at estimating their moving times that it caused my move to start 8 hours behind schedule?! I wasted an entire working day being available for a move that I ended up having to oversee after hours that went on until 12:30am on June 26, 2015. Their poor planning resulted in me losing an entire day's worth of pay at my own job, not to mention, nearly throwing off my entire moving schedule with ABF. The movers were clearly exhausted after having started their day at 8am that morning. No person in a physically laborious job such as moving is able to perform at full capacity after already being on the job 13 hours. I will NEVER utilize the services of Moving Staffers or Mr. Third Party. Overpriced, unprofessional, poor communication, and frustrating; all the things you DON'T want when relocating. Save yourself the headache and save some money and look elsewhere for movers. I've moved several times and Moving Staffers supplying me with Mr. Third Party was the most expensive and the worst experience I've ever had. read more
