This small shop located in Leslieville serves up some great sandwiches in a space that is primarily take out only (although there are a few bar/counter spots if you'd like to eat there. They are also open daily from 11am to 9pm. Menu wise, there are 9-10 kinds of sandwiches to choose from. They are all served on a sesame kaiser roll and cut in half. You're also able to add on ingredients on top of the already selected ones in the sandwiches. Each of Lambo's Deli locations also have a special sandwich, where this time when I went, it was the crispy chicken club. They also have soft serve as well (rotating flavours!). I stopped by Lambo's Deli on a Monday morning before the lunch rush and opted to grab: - Italian trio sandwich (soppressata, mortadella, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, picked red onion, arugula, pesto, Calabrian chili spread) - $18 - Soft serve (flavour was hojicha) -$5 Service was friendly and I received my soft serve while waiting for my sandwich to be prepared. It took about 5 min and it was nicely packed. Staff were great and handed me a handful of napkins as well. I ate my sandwich an hour later and before opening the packaging, the sandwich was pretty heavy! Looking at a cross section of the sandwich, it was packed with ingredients! The Italian Trio sandwich was delicious. The roasted red peppers, pickled red onion, arugula, and Calabrian chili spread added freshness to the sandwich which didn't make it feel so heavy with all the deli meats inside as well as the mozzarella cheese. The sandwiches are big and I could only finish half for lunch. Overall, a delicious sandwich shop in Leslieville. Lambo's Deli definitely packs a lot of ingredients in their sandwiches which make for a tasty meal. Be warned, the sandwiches are huge! Also...don't miss out on their soft serve too!

They also do deli sandwiches where you order at the counter, where the sandwich is made to order. I've heard of this Italian neighbourhood gem for a while now where I finally went to try their sandwiches recently (on a Saturday!). Walking to the storefront, we almost missed the shop as the "La Salumeria" was so unassuming where the colour was fading as well. Walking inside, every inch of the store was filled with products. Reading other reviews, we made sure to pick up our bread before heading to the counter, which had a short line (about only 3 people ahead of us which was a relief since we went on a Sat around 1pm). Near the cashier there were also lots of delicious looking baked goods as well. We opted to grab a kaiser bun and an Italian bread for the house special sandwich. We also decided to get a mortabella sandwich with the ciabatta bun. At the counter, service was friendly and efficient. All the staff at the deli were working hard to serve customers, making sure that we were attended to. Carlo, the owner, was also present in the shop, helping out making sandwiches as well as recommending customers certain cheeses and answering questions. After placing our order at the counter and handing over our breads to the staffs, we waited about 5 min for our sandwiches to be made. Paying at the cashier, the shop takes cash, debit and credit. Priced at around $16 each, the portions of the sandwiches are hefty with ingredients packed inside. The ingredients itself speak for themself as they are fresh and top notch!
