I love Mr. Sushi! We always have a great time when we go! This particular time was amazing. The waiter was super funny (kept telling us jokes) .. the food was delicious & the drinks were cute & a little strong. We all ordered on one paper, so they brought us out a HUGE platter with flowers everywhere. I loved it. Sooo cute. We will continue to go back as the service is ALWAYS good.

Went here for my 2 year anniversary as this was supposed to be our original first date. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We got some sushi and had teriyaki from the stake house side. The sushi was very good and would come back again for that. However the chicken fried shrimp I got was awful. The rice tasted like soy sauce and the shrimp and chicken were so hard. Would not recommend but if you like sushi, I would highly recommend it!

We ate on the sushi side and ordered alaskan rolls to share. I had some sake and the teriyaki salmon. I have no complaints for the sushi and sake, but my salmon outright tasted like a seafood flavored nissin cup noodle. It was the most fishy tasting salmon I've had. The fried rice was missing flavor and mostly just tasted of soy sauce. The soup and salad were standard for hibachi, I enjoyed the sweetness of the salad dressing. Service was nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was also clean and up to date. I probably wouldn't go back for any hibachi because there are better and higher quality options at similar prices. But I would for the sushi.

Outstanding! Very good and flavorful. One of the tastiest spicy salmon rolls I've had. Will be back!

Fresh sushi and lovely prompt service. The LS roll, California roll, squid salad, and calamari were all prepared to perfection.

Today our dining experience was one no one should ever experience, especially at a nice restaurant. Today there was a group of st least 20 adults sitting at tables pushed together in the center of one side of the dining room. They appeared to have finished their meal, but were still being served beverages. They were talking, nearly screaming at each other up and down the table. Some up walking around the table, getting louder as time went on. My sister and I, sitting in a nearby booth, sitting 3ft apart, could not hear each other when talking. That group was very disrespectful and disruptive to all the dining patrons in that restaurant. I requested to talk to the manager of the dining room this afternoon. A middle age guy from the kitchen area came to our table. He definitely was not Longhorns typical manager who typically strolls through checking with diners to be sure all was good for them. No suit, no name, no introduction, and worthless and unprepared to handling disruptive groups. He told us there was nothing he could do about the obnoxious, disruptive group. He apologized and said "I am sorry" but I can't ask them to lower their voices....I can't tell them anything. soooooo unsettling and unprofessiona! So he gave no respect for his dining guests and their right to enjoy a nice meal in a place typically very enjoyable for people to have dinner. As an apology for problems with food or service Longhorn always comps your meal, asking you to please return again and give them the opportunity to better serve you. He offered to comp 1 dessert....just 1 for 2 seniors who were dissatisfied with the lack of managements handling and fair resolution to a large group of disruptive diners who obviously brought their party to a public venue! Note----once this group left the dining room, we saw them party in the parking lot, with their drinks in their "red solo cups"! Such a disappointing experience for what was planned to be a happy holiday meal and visit with my sister.

The person I ordered it for literally dipped it water to wash the salt off, then put it in the air fryer and it was still very salty. None of us could eat it. Wasted around $14 on 8 pieces of inedible salt lick.... ETA: I was so bothered by the salty chicken I forgot to mention the rest of the meal... The steak was cooked medium but was tough and flavorless-- I suppose they used all the salt on the chicken. The sides were fine though... steamed broccoli, macaroni and French fries along with bread and butter. Too bad the main dishes were subpar.

We arrived around 5:30pm on a Saturday and were told there would be about a 10-minute wait, so we opted to grab seats at the bar and have dinner there instead. As the evening went on, we learned there are some trade-offs to dining at the bar. As the restaurant filled up, the bar area became increasingly busy and service naturally slowed. Small but noticeable details -- like water refills -- started getting overlooked. I was also surprised our server never checked in with my wife about her Chicken Pasta, especially since she barely touched it. We started with the Caesar Salad, which was excellent. The portion size was enormous -- easily large enough for two people to share -- with crisp romaine, generous dressing, and plenty of shaved Parmesan. I'm a longtime prime rib fan, so seeing it featured immediately caught my attention. The 13-ounce cut arrived perfectly medium rare, exactly as ordered. The meat was exceptionally tender and flavorful, complemented nicely by a rich au jus and a creamy horseradish ("horsey") sauce that added just the right kick. My wife ordered the Chicken Pasta, which arrived as a very generous portion that could easily serve two. The dish featured grilled chicken over pasta in a spicy Asiago cream sauce. Unfortunately, the heat level was stronger than expected and ended up overpowering the dish for her, leaving most of it uneaten. One highlight of the evening was the Double Black Diamond Martini -- an infusion of fresh pineapple with New Amsterdam Pineapple Vodka. At $7.95 during Happy Hour (normally $13.95), it felt like one of the best values on the menu and was refreshing without being overly sweet. The restaurant was packed throughout our visit and clearly has a loyal following. After six years in this location, Firebirds seems to have built a strong customer base. With a bit more attentiveness to bar diners during peak hours, the experience could easily move from good to great.
