The loss of a star is due to the fact that we sat in a space where we were continually experiencing the smell of a room air freshener. While we ate, I thought perhaps it was throughout the restaurant, but when I went to the ladies restroom, I realized that the strong oder was coming from within (our table was the closest to the hall leading to the restroom). If this has been our first experience at Sake Lounge, we probably wouldn't return-however we hope the management might address this, and if seated elsewhere, it would not be a problem. read more

Food Poisoning from eating here on 10/10/25 I really hate to leave this review, but I unfortunately my mom and myself got food poisoning after eating here for her birthday. We both became very sick and have had all the classic food poisoning symptoms. We hadn't eaten anywhere else that day, so I'm confident it was from this restaurant. It's disappointing because the food itself seemed fine at the time and the presentation was lovely, but no one expects to leave a restaurant and end up ill. I'm sharing this so others are aware and so management can investigate their food safety practices -- I'd really like to see this addressed so it doesn't happen to someone else. The presentation of our food was amazing. My boyfriend's order was striking. I wasn't super hungry so I just ordered one roll, but I did have a large beer. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because we always make reservations in advance before we eat at Sake Lounge, and we've still had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated every time. Not great when we have after-dinner plans. Once we've been seated, however, everything has always been great. I'm not a fan of sashimi, but my wife is, and she says the sashimi at Sake Lounge is some of the best in the area. Always fresh and displayed very nicely. I do like sushi rolls, though, and Sake Lounge has a large selection of options. Every type of sushi roll I've tried has been very good. Beyond sashimi and sushi, Sake Lounge offers a large dinner menu with a wide variety of Japanese/East Asian cuisine options. My personal favorites are the hibachi style dinners, especially the Steak and Scallop Hibachi dinner (they don't have hibachi tables in the dining room, fyi). And if young kids are joining you, they have a kids menu. The service has always been top-notch when we've eaten at Sake Lounge. The wait staff is always very friendly and attentive. And the restaurant itself is very spacious and has nice decor. It'll hit you in the wallet a bit, but Sake Lounge is well worth the price. Definitely go try it out! read more

Sadly, my toddler had to potty, and since I'm on my own this weekend, my 3yo, 5yo, and myself went to the toilet. We came back to our table being bussed! When a mom has not paid for the meal, maybe don't bus her table with half a meal left on it when she's the only one that can take the children potty. They offered to take one roll off my total. This place is delicious! It's a good option if you have a group that some people like sushi and some don't because they have a lot of cooked options that are good. My fiance always gets the General's Chicken entree which comes with a soup or salad and he also likes the rangoon appetizer. I always get a combination of sushi. Everything I've gotten has been good. I usually get an order of nigiri, a simple roll (like an avocado roll), and one special roll. The BMW roll and the Sunny roll are two of my favorites. Their presentation is also beautiful! Their cocktails are also delicious. We like the Lover's Bowl. It does get pretty busy so you might want to make a reservation (if you aren't trying to go the same day). If you go same day sometimes you can snag a spot at their bar in the back although the last two times we've been they didn't have it open and we were turned away because they were too busy. So just keep that in mind! It's also right next to AMC Theater so we like to go here before seeing a movie. read more

In an effort to find a great sushi option closer to home, we found Sake Lounge with some good reviews on Yelp! Although we always prefer our sushi fresh straight from the chef within the restaurant, we've been forced into a lot more carryout situations of late...and that was the case here with our first run at Sake Lounge. We brought up their website and EASILY placed an online order for future pickup, about three hours out. The sushi menu is really large with lots of great options for all different sorts of palates and preferences! We ordered four maki rolls and some gyoza. I arrived right on time to pick up our order, and it was sitting there waiting for me! Both my wife and I LOVED every. single. roll!!! Despite having to pick it up and bring it home, making it at LEAST 20 minutes less-fresh, it was still very good and didn't have any "fishy" flavor! All of our rolls were bright and super tasty! We would get all four again! The gyoza was the only downside, if there was one. We both love our gyoza fried to a light crisp, and these were a bit on the soft side. That said, it's hard to ding the restaurant/chef when you do carryout, as that could have absolutely affected the crisp, and/or lack thereof. Due to the ease of ordering, huge menu, on-time preparation, and DELICOUS food, we will be back! I'm pretty sure we've found our new go-to sushi spot! read more

Salad was crisp and the dressing was perfect. The soup was hot, had just the right amount of ingredients and was the perfect salt level for myself and mother(we aren't big on salty things if that helps). We then ordered sushi and our entrees. Tuna was fresh and I like (k)rab sticks which were good for what they are. I ordered General Tso's chicken as my main. It was delicious as it wasn't greasy or over breaded.
