I've been waiting for this place to open since they make everything that I love. I wasn't super hungry so I went with the spicy miso ramen, and my fiance ordered two sushi rolls. We were all happy with our meals. I wasn't expecting a kind of sweet flavor in my broth, but it grew on me. The portion size was large so I took half to go and it reheated well. You order off a kiosk which I usually love, but was kind of hoping to ask some questions about spice level since there weren't any customization options. The food took a really long time to come out, despite being one of two tables in the restaurant. It was very quiet inside, despite being a typical dinner hour. I absolutely love Poke and am so glad that Poke places are coming back to OP. I will come back to that soon.

We had planned to eat at KC Craft Ramen but the line was ridiculous and we didn't gave a lot of time. Fortunately as we were pulling out of their lot we saw this place across the way. I was initially skeptical because there were only a few cars in the parking lot, but turns out it because they are brand new. When you walk in you place your order on a kiosk, but it is big and easy to navigate and easy to customize, it was very easy! It is cutely decorated and everything was clean and cozy. We had ramen and gyozas and crab rangoon. Everything was GREAT and came out pretty quickly. We will definitely go back.

I stumbled across this spot when I was actually going to get KC Ramen, but they were closed for a special event and I saw Pokeloha nearby in the same shopping area. I tried the pork bun since I typically got one of those at KC Ramen and a sushi burrito. I've always wanted to try one of them and this was the first time I'd taken up that opportunity. I wasn't disappointed. While the pork bun is not as good as KC Ramen's, the sushi burrito was excellent. I can't wait to go back and get another, and the ordering was so simple. There is a touch screen when you enter to pick everything you want, and the friendly staff brings it out to your table. Looking forward to my next visit.

It's a little weird ordering off a kiosk when people are standing right there and you may have questions. But with poke that may not be as needed. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen and it came out quick and hot. It was full of flavor, heat, and different textures. The noodles themselves are basic but the chili oil mixed with the broth and flavors of the meat are really nice and unique, since it's more of a Chinese topping. The pork was large and well grilled but still fell apart and tender. I haven't tried their pork and sushi but this is a great option for a quick hot bowl of noodles!

This place is great. There are a significant number of diabetic friendly options. You can build your own and the quantity is good and the taste is great. I fear it won't last because we were by ourselves at dinner time. The staff was friendly and thoughtful. The atmosphere is roomy and the right noise level. Come on OP, don't let this place die. The food is to die for.

    Pork Gyoza

I had high hopes going into Pokeloha but left disappointed. I didn't realize the poke bowls came with minced salmon and tuna; the taste was ok but presentation and freshness left a lot to be desired. I felt the ramen toppings could have been fresher as well. The corn and seaweed textures were off. We ordered extra egg but somehow ended up with 3 halves -- not sure if we got a bonus or were missing one. The eggs were cold in the center but marinated well. The best item we had were the pork gyozas. They were fresh and flavorful. The sauce they served it with was perfectly balanced. I would go back for the gyoza. The place was clean and staff were friendly.

The customer service is top-notch here. Shout out to Yang for making me feel welcome and excited to come back. I was trying to the place because I saw people posting the anime mural on the wall. It looks just as cool in person. I decide to bring a friend back so we went for lunch today and I tried the KC Hot Ramen. They make their chili spice in house! If you haven't gone to the new location in OP, you definitely need to check it out.

My Hawaiian Sunset Bowl and my husband's Build-A-Bowl.

We used to go to HokiBar, but when Poke'loha came to Overland Park, we tried it and were hooked. My husband and I now go twice a week. They have our order with all its substitutions (I don't like onions or seaweed) written down because we come so much. Their fish is fresh and delicious. I get the Hawaiian Sunset Bowl which is fantastic and my husband does the "Build-A-Bowl" option. The service is outstanding. I'm planning to try the Sushi and Ramen soon.

Was initially wanting to go to KC Craft, but because the line was so long decided to give this place a try. So Good! Been to Japan before and was very surprised with the food and so was my girlfriend. Give this place a try if you want some good food and a nice quiet atmosphere. You do self serve if you prefer less interaction

When we were there the first time, we asked the guys making the bowls a bunch of questions. They will answer if you ask. What did you end up ordering? Thinking of trying new stuff.

We no longer felt like we were old friends and they were happy to see us, but just customers. Service was slow and sporadic. The menu is kind of the same, bit the food was completely different. I have never had salty such rolls before. Could barely eat the Alaskan roll for the salt and that was without soy sauce. Had to ask for Wasabi for our rolls. Teriyaki chicken had a nice flavor, so kudos on that part of the meal. Previously, Omo's was our go to restaurant when we got to KC. I have just been given an excuse to try other restaurants. Ambiane looks the same, but music was way too loud and even the chopsticks are nice, but not as nice as they were. But, at least they aren't disposable. We miss the old chef and waiter.

I didn't order ramen, I ordered tempura Brussel sprouts and a JINYA bun with pork. I also ordered rice. I thoroughly enjoyed the tempura Brussel Sprouts. They were perfectly fried in tempura coating, fresh and yummy. The JINYA bun with pork was like it's supposed to be. But the bread ofcourse, was like a soggy piece of white bread. I enjoyed it as something new to eat. The white rice kept me full. I traded 2 Brussel Sprouts for a piece of Tempura Chicken. That was as delicious as the Brussel Sprouts. I can imagine ramen tasting like this in a Japanese back alley noodle shop without a gaijin in sight. The space is sleek and comfortable. The server was helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. While delicious, can't say you're getting a good bang for your buck there. A great experience, overall.
