We took it back a couple occasions. It would be reset for a day or 2 and we would wait to get scheduled again for the problem. Eventually, we were told that they couldn't get it fixed and we needed to take the Car to Volkswagen for the repair. We were told we needed to pay for this out of pocket. Needless to say we never took it due to the time it takes and being without a vehicle. A year has gone by and come to find out there isn't even sensors in the tires. When purchasing your vehicle make sure that service area does what is promised. How they could not have known there wasn't sensors is beyond me and frustrating to say the least.

I have bought several cars from Marla's and it's has never been easy but never this difficult. Maybe if I would've found a car with less issues I wouldn't have had to go through the system. I also told her that my experience with Carmax cars is that you buy them and then it's like an Easter egg hunt to find out what's wrong with them before the customer has to actually pay to fix what's wrong with it. In my mind they should be fixing it before they're selling it. I've also was told several times at serval points that a manager was supposed to call me. I did have one call me yesterday from "no caller ID", I did answer, but he did not answer back. So then he ended the call on me. Then he never tried to reach out to me again. Anytime a manager has supposed to have called me, they do not. They waited till the very last minute to tell me that my car was not gonna be finished for the day and that they could not get me a loaner car. Mind you I've had this appointment scheduled for them to have the services completed on my car for a while and they've had my car from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Originally we were happy with our $20k cash purchase of a 2025 Compass. The sales guy, Parker was…read morenice and helpful. He said that the car had received their inspection and the oil was just changed on September 29th, even though it was not showing on the Carfax. We assumed it was because it was only the beginning of October and it probably just hadn't updated yet. The Carfax showed new tires were put on the car in January of this year, the tread we could see looked good. All in all, it appeared to be a maintained car and EchoPark doing their inspection, we were assured, they did the needed upkeep on the vehicle. I want to be very clear, we knew we were buying a former rental car, we knew there were some dings in the paint and we knew it was not a brand new car. What we did NOT know was that EchoPark did not do anything to up keep the vehicle. We took it to our mechanic, who found that the oil was old, no way was it just changed, sadly, I did not get a photo of that, but in addition to this, the engine air filter was absolutely filthy with gunk. Since no one has it in stock, we have ordered it and will have it replaced once it arrives. The "10 month" old tires where tread bare in areas that were not visible when looking at them, you had to get under the car and have a look at the inside of portion of the tires, so we had to purchase new tires. The vehicle was in bad need of an alignment. We had this done at the time of the tires and due to unreported damage on the driver side wheel, they could not correct the alignment. I have attached the photo of that paper work, the upper portion is what it was and the lower portion is as good as it will get. Basically we dropped 20k on a car to turn around and drop another $2k for various repairs that really should have been done when they received the car. They push the warranties really hard, I think it is because they know they are selling cars with problems. But they won't tell you that will they? I reached out to Parker, the sales rep, on Monday and let him know we were really disappointed and he said he would pass it on to the GM. It is now Friday and we have not heard anything from the GM. We do not expect anything other than an apology for getting a car with issues they should have resolved or disclosed, if they had actually done their inspection. Overall, I will not ever do business with them again and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of their shady practices. I have uploaded the aligned photo just an example...

I had an issue within a week of buying a car when it became clear there was a bad parasitic battery drain issue (dead battery if the car went more than a few days without being driven). After going on a vacation and leaving the car for 14 days un-driven, the battery was so dead the key fob wouldn't unlock the doors. Not a big deal, right? While this wouldn't have been an issue normally (I wasn't blaming them for the battery drain issue), the only physical key Urban Motors provided with the car (the one embedded in the fob) didn't work - leaving me no way to get into the car to lift to hood to jump it. I had no desire to have Urban Motors fix any of this for me (my bad for not checking this before buying) - I just needed some basic information about work they'd done - possibly on the driver's side door - to help me decide the best path forward. I both called (left a message since they didn't answer) and texted to simply ask whether they had replaced the driver's side door handle - just so I'd know the best way to proceed and decide whether I should take steps to try to make the key work or not - and they never responded to either. No call back. No text acknowledgment. Nothing. Such a simple question that if they would have just taken a couple minutes to answer would have saved me a lot of time and effort in troubleshooting. Maybe they heard/read my question and realized they'd sold me a car without a working physical key, or maybe they just have an under-developed customer support policy. I'll never know. Either way, it was a really unfortunate experience to say the least.
