This is the shadiest dealership I have ever worked with. I purchased a truck from them with an out the door cash price which was supposed to cover all taxes and fees. Over a month went by and I hadn't received the title. I called and left several voicemails with the title department and got no response. I finally went into the dealership where they told me they would not process my title until I paid city taxes. They claimed that they priced the vehicle using my old address even though the tax receipt they provided had my correct address. I recorded the whole conversation in which they said multiple times that it was their mistake and that the taxes should have been included, but there was nothing they could do at this point. They are still holding my title even though the vehicle was paid in full at closing. I was also never given the master key when I signed the paperwork and had to pay to have another dealership program it so my security system would work. This was not disclosed during the sale. I highly recommend anyone thinking of shopping here to look elsewhere. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and will be filing additional complaints. read more

I purchased a vehicle from Drive N-Motion on August 20, 2024, but unfortunately, the transmission failed less than 24 hours later. Since then, the dealership has had the car in their possession, has attempted repair and failed, and it's now been over two months with no resolution in sight. Drive N-Motion will not contact me for updates and when I contact them, they are not forthcoming with what is currently going on with the vehicle. When I requested a refund due to the unreasonable length of time to repair, the dealership declined, despite the car being unusable since day two. On October 30th, the CEO Brian Neely mentioned to the NM MVD State Investigator that it will take another three weeks to complete repairs, meaning I'd be without the car for nearly three months. This delay is far longer than industry standards for a major repair, with inconsistent timelines given throughout or no timelines given at all. Adding to the frustration, I discovered they attempted to use my extended warranty for these repairs, even though New Mexico's implied warranty applies to such a recent purchase. When I asked about it, they denied using my extended warranty, which I later found was untrue from the warranty company. If I had let this continue, I would have been at the limits of warranty for the transmission and drive axle coverage, before driving the vehicle for more than a few miles. I've escalated this issue to the New Mexico Consumer Protection Division and the NM Attorney General's office, the BBB, and the NM MVD. I would caution others about purchasing vehicles here, as my experience has shown a lack of transparency and accountability. The only recourse I've been given so far, is that once the vehicle is fixed the dealer will 'work' with me on another vehicle since we've expressed a lack of confidence our current purchase. As already stated in other reviews (look at the negative ones), this translates to "Bring me the one I just sold you, I will trade that in for less than you paid, and I'll sell you another possibly more expensive one." They won't sell you a vehicle unless you purchase their warranty (as I was told by our wonderful salesperson), you end up paying another $2500+ for the newly purchased vehicle warranty, a perfect arbitrage. read more

The fact that this dealership has 4.5 stars makes me a little uneasy and a lot of nauseous. I am one of the most patient people I know, but this whole ordeal in combination with treatment by staff has sent me. In January (23) I stopped by this dealership to check out a 2012 Mazda 3. Upon talking with an associate I learned that it was an "as is" vehicle. Cool, no problem. I decided to buy the vehicle outright and pay for necessary repairs in house. After 30 or 45 minutes of talking and paperwork, immediately before payment was processed, the manager comes over to inform us that it is a rebuild from salvage title. The untimely and unorganized nature of this interaction should have been the first red flag. So I get my car and a few days later go to the dmv to register it. After a couple hours in line, we are told that we need to return to the dealership because they hadn't provided us with any of the legally required title work. No big deal, people make mistakes. We went back to the dealership then back to the DMV . When we returned to the DMV the clerk was appalled and said it was some of the most sloppy and negligent work she has ever seen. To our dismay, the dealership had not properly filled out the title or other documentation. Our wonderful clerk at the DMV wrote up a reject letter EXPLICITLY DETAILING what the dealership needed to do so that the car could be registered. So we go back to the dealership, at this point the manager is actively ignoring us when we have been nothing but kind, and are told to leave the packet of papers for the person who does title work because they are not in. About a week later, we picked up the packet with not so much as a "sorry for the inconvenience" Today, we go back to the DMV to get plates because time was running out on the temp tags. After another couple hours of waiting in line we are told that once again, FOR THE THIRD TIME, the dealership has missed something. Our new DMV clerk typed up a second reject letter with explicit instructions for the dealership. She also noted that this is the worst case of sloppiness and negligence she has seen in her career so far and was so apologetic on behalf of dealership. So, we just dropped off the packet again, I hope this is the end of it. I guess we will find out when I go and wait at the DMV for a fourth time. Save your time (SO SO MUCH TIME) and money and buy a car somewhere else, anywhere else. read more

I bought a 2017 Prius with 125000 miles on it. So far it is performing well and gets 50+ miles per gallon which I why I got it. As a condition of purchase I asked that the replace the front left wheel well liner. The would do the work till after I completed the purchase. I also asked that they replace the rear wiper blade that was completely torn and falling off. And final I asked the to remove the dealer logo sticker on the back window. The only thing they did was replace the liner. I left the car with them after paying the full amount in cash. They claimed it would be a week or longer because it was so hard to get parts. After a week I looked online and multiple sites has the part and I would arrive in 2 days from the time it was ordered. So basically they lied or aren't aware that you can get parts online. Rear wiper blade was no replace and I had to order it myself. And finally the manage literally said he would not remove the decal of the dealer from the rear window. They don't follow through, the don't do what they agree to and they don't remove a sticker decal that they put on to get free advertising from their customers. Oh I forgot, they also claim to have done a major inspection of the car but didn't choose or care to replace the rear wiper that was falling off and when I drove it off the lot the tire pressure light was on and all 4 tires were at different pressures and one was very low. How does an inspection miss that. My only saving grace is that the Prius is a dependable car and it hopefully won't have issues like the other reviews I've read here. Buyer beware. read more

The manager Dave brushed me off completely and proceeded to tell me that since the car could stop that is the only safety regulation they have to abide by, he did not care that he sold me a car where 90% of the brake pads were gone. Buying my pickup from these guys was the worst mistake I've ever made as a consumer. A few days after purchasing it I started to have transmission issues. They sold me a lemon. After being told I'd have to take it to the manufacturers dealership and get any recalls fixed (out of pocket) I brought it back to Drive n motion and they told me I'd need a new transmission but the warranty will cover it (BUY THE WARRANTY IF YOU DO PURCHASE HERE). I thought "great thats why you buy the warranty". It took them 2 months to install a new transmission. They had to order 3 different transmissions before they got a good one. I understand they're at the mercy of the warranty company when they get these parts in, but they choose to do business with this very shady warranty business sending in defective parts. I still had to pay $300 for diagnostics and a warranty deductible which was never ever discussed when purchasing the vehicle. I had to borrow vehicles from family members, and rent cars during this long process. The stress involved with my purchase is why this was the worst consumer experience I've ever had. I will never in a million years be a customer of Drive n motion ever again and I hope the people reading this will not be either. This place is a joke. My insurance company told me my car was totaled, so I went to Drive N-Motion, and put down $1,000 on a 2008 Subaru. Four days later, State Farm told me they were going to repair my car. They refused to give me my money back. Then when State Farm told me two weeks later that my car was totaled, I called Drive N-Motion to see what other cars I might be interested in, and they refused to call me back. The truck has been in the shop for 113 days as of today. Fighting and arguing with them the entire time. All they did was blame the warranty company for not approving the repairs. So then i called the warranty company and they told me that they hadn't heard from the dealership in weeks. They tried every little excuse to get out of it. I ended up driving all the way up to Greely from Denver just to get a response from them at about 2 months, hoping that would get some sort of reaction. So I bought a Ford F-150 fx4 a week ago come to find out it had an oil leak and to top that off while driving it I completely lost power. Not electrical power but horse power. The truck Literally would not excelerate when I pushed on the gas pedal. And and wrench sign instantly popped up on the control cluster. So long story short drive in motion had me take it in. They Diagnosed it and at the end of the Diagnostic i was told it was the vacuum pump. All said and Done I had the truck a week and they want me to pay for the repair!!!!!!!!! What a joke read more

As much as I would love to stand behind the original five star review I posted, I would not purchase another vehicle here. The check engine light was on at the time of purchase and I got in writing that their service team would fix my vehicle the following week. I have since taken it back to that dealership 4+ times for the same issue and they keep "fixing" it, but then the check engine light comes back on three weeks later. Living far away, I called ahead to see if the sales manager had enough time to talk to me about my issue, the salesman said yes, I drove 45 minutes down the mountains, and I sat there for 20 minutes without even being greeted. Once I finally made a stink and told them about my problem, they told me they didn't have time for me that day and made me return the next day. I went in to talk to the sales managers about my options to return or fix the vehicle, but they seem more interested in selling cars than they are helping customers, and they did little to help solve my problem. If I could go back and not purchase my vehicle here to save all the headache it has caused, I would. If the price seems too good to be true- it is! read more

Like so many others I purchased a jeep and 2 hours after leaving the lot the check engine light came on. Called salesman Zach immediately and was told no big deal they would replace the o2 sensor so don't get the emissions yet. Took the car in to get that fixed and they found a bad valve body. That was now my problem and would cost me 700.00 more dollars. I was also told it would be my word against theirs on the emissions statement. I purchased the jeep may 21st here it is June 21st and I still don't have the jeep! They will not call me. I paid in full. I do not know what to do now. Worst experience ever. Sales associates take advantage of shoppers who are both naive and "desperately" in need of a vehicle. There just next door "inspection" process is bogus, and was not allowed to take to another mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. As well , someone took the car to top off gas,etc. Oil cap was left off, creating engine smells, smoking, and a feeling of fear. After investing over 3,000.00 in the vehicle for a tune-up and a new clutch, the car is undriveable because of "coking" in the engine. I am now underwater on this car, and encourage shoppers to think twice before trusting these individuals. read more

UPDATE (to my review posted on 11/16/2018): I finally got a call back - spoke with David Seulean (who was our finance manager at Drive N-Motion). Since he seemed willing to listen as to how they could help, I proposed Drive N-Motion help us cover the insurance we are paying on our UNUSED truck as well as help us with any unforeseen frame-related rebuild expenses that Toyota's extended warranty won't cover. This seemed like a fair deal to me. As Colorado State Law mandates, we are required to pay insurance on a financed vehicle (which ours is) regardless if it is being used or not. The straight forward answer I got from David is that "Drive N-Motion never has and never will pay for someone's insurance". He continued to tell me that they are not shady and he stands behind his mechanics 100%. This comment that he stands behind his mechanics 100% really rubbed me the wrong way as Toyota was able to spot the frame defect almost immediately. I will give David the benefit of the doubt that he honestly trusts and stands behind his mechanics. I believe that he thinks they do good work. However, I found it extremely troubling that he wasn't even able to entertain the possibility that his mechanics overlooked the frame issue before okaying it for sale on the lot. Humans make mistakes...we are human...but David wouldn't have any of it. Bottom line, David heavy-handedly shrugged off all my suggestions for settling this matter and provided no thoughts or suggestions of his own as to how the dealership could make this right. The call was clearly not about making this right. It was for him to grandstand that his mechanics are the best, that they do not mistakes, and to pat me on the head and wish me well with my defective truck. Trust me, I am not a scorned woman. I am simply and rationally coming at this with facts and data hoping that Drive N-Motion will step up and take responsibility for their mistakes, just like Toyota has with respect to the frame issue. The bottom line here is that this dealership has no moral high ground as I see it. They are untrustworthy. If anybody has any doubts or questions about buying from Drive N-Motion, feel free to direct message me and I will provide you with more details about my experience. A few weeks ago, I unfortunately got in a car accident that totaled my 2016 Mazda 3, and me being only 19 years old and living in Colorado on my own ... finding a car wasn't ideal. I work a full time job and completely support myself, and I didn't have much room to spend money on a new car. As I was looking around for cars, I found a beautiful 2010 Nissan Xterra, VERY well maintained, less than 100,000 miles and had brand new rims and tinted windows! It was EXTREMELY clean (more clean than the used Mazda I bought from the dealership!!), everything was up to date and exquisitely maintained. David and his crew of young, determined car salesman worked relentlessly for me by finding me the perfect credit union to finance this vehicle for me, and with me having little to no credit he managed to get me a 10% interest rate when majority of the other banks I spoke with told me I was lucky to get a 15%+ interest rate with my credit score. David and his team did more than service my needs! They took care of a 19 year old who was fresh from a car accident, and helped her buy her first vehicle (a pretty badass one if I might say so myself). After finding a car online and submitting an application online the salesperson told me there was an approval. Upon arriving I was then told it was for a different car. I did not want that car. We found an agreeable car. I had a check ready for that day and in the negotiations they asked me to post date a new check for a larger and other check(s) for further dates to be deposited later. Immediately the larger check was deposited against what the dealer told me sending my account into a tailspin. While waiting for the check to be credited back my account sat negative which it had never done before the dealer demanded the money or bring the car back after being charged many overdraft charges in spite of their error. I told them they could come get the car as I had no means of transportation at which point they threatened to call the police on me. Of course the car was returned. No accountability, no follow up, no honesty. Upon returning the car the I asked them to return the outstanding check(s) and saw the dates for deposit written on the envelope(s) were for earlier than what I was told. Just the type of low life dealer that gives the industry a bad name. It's too bad these unethical places are allowed to operate! read more

Buyer Beware!!! We purchased a vehicle from this dealership when they were still located in East Denver. Since, they have turned over much of their staff and relocated to Thornton. Our vehicle had many issues in the first few weeks. In which it was in their shop more than 4 Times, until we finally said enough and took it to our local dealer, whom fixed the issue easily. We were also sold into a larger contract than we wanted to be sold, but did so under the understanding that our vehicle would be covered unconditionally. Not only will they not honor our contract with them, but they are attempting to force us to pay more for the issues. My vehicle has been sitting in my driveway useless for over a month. They have made absolutely no effort to find a solution and have gone out of their way to avoid speaking with my wife and I. They will express a commitment to call us back and we won't hear from them till we chase someone down. The manager has no authority and apparently the owner is only in the business for the quick buck. Again, shop for your car somewhere else!
