So this will be the second vehicle I've purchased from this company. The salesman Richard is a slimy sales person. He was supposed to run my vehicle as business not in my personal name. 2 months later I found out they did not do this.Tbe sales people are lying at this establishment when their lips are moving. My vehicle AC went out, and the tranny went out. It turns out that even though they say they have mechanics look at their vehicles, they do not. My truck broke down in the first month. I was with-out it for weeks awhile Chevy fixed a recall and another failure in the tranny. I feel like this time I was taken for a ride. Someone had broken into the passenger side what appears to be about four times, the AC doesn't work, and there was only one good Tire on the truck. They offered to send me to their tire shop Because I could get a discount and buy the tires, but I could get the tires cheaper than they could. Also they use AI as a loan company which was the most irritating thing I've ever been through. Unless they fix my AC and get me four new tires I will never buy a truck from these people again. They will sell you bre=oken vehicles, and they will do what ever it takes to get you to sign. Run the other way. read more

Worst experience ever. We recently went to Dye Autos to purchase a truck from them. Six days after we got it, the check engine light turned on and it turns out it is the fuel pump. The part itself is going to cost me 350 plus the installation fee and who knows what else. We tried contacting Tony, and he said he couldn't do anything about it since we didn't get warranty. If it would have been a month or two after I'd understand why they wouldn't want to help us, but it wasn't even a week after. We were definitely going to go back, since we have a family owned business and wanted to purchase trucks for the business, but after this experience we definitely won't be going back. read more

I ended up spending $7,000.00 out of pocket to try and fix the 4 wheel drive. Couldn't get it fixed. Furious. $19,000.00 dollar truck with no 4 wheel drive... I took it back to Dye Auto they traded it in on another newer f150 and added my remaining balance to newer truck. Now $26,000.00 f150 2 weeks after getting it the 4 wheel drive goes out. We had a great experience at Grand Valley Auto. There was a gorgeous Ford F250 Superduty we were interested in but we were going on vacation. We let them know we wanted a mechanic to check it out. It didn't sell over the weekend and Kris took it down the street to the mechanic we chose. The mechanic said that Grand Valley had obviously done a lot of work and everything that was usually wrong was not - it was totally clean! Not one problem. The price was reasonable and we didn't feel like we were getting taken advantage of. They let us put a deposit down to hold the truck until we got back and it went towards the down payment. When we got there to buy the truck I was not happy with my bank's rate - Dave who was working with Kris, suggested we try their lender. We got a waay better rate. Dave had also put together 2 year/24000 mile warranty (it was optional) but covered all of the work and even the lift on the truck. We opted in. My boyfriend was so happy with our purchase he was like a kid on Christmas and couldn't go to sleep until after 2:00 am; he was so excited about our new truck! Do not buy a vehicle here. We bought a diesel Silverado 2500 from them which we found out a month later that They sold it to us illegally. The previous owners had a mod added which will make the truck fail emissions. Somehow they got someone to pass it illegally. Then a couple weeks after that, the truck broke because the the head gaskets were blown. Dye auto could have run a very simple and cheap test when they got it from the previous owner and would have seen that they were blown out. We have also had to replace the water pump, alternator and fuel pump housing, within 5 months of the sale. We are now paying an additional $4000 on top of the price of the truck. We understand it's a used vehicle so some things can't be predicted but some of these issues should have been fixed before sale. When we approached the owner about the illegal emissions and the head gasket issue to get a credit or trade it, they pretty much stated that it wasn't their issue anymore. We've been fighting with them for over 6 months trying to get a credit or something and they finally forked over $1000. Better than nothing I guess but we will NEVER go here again and I will make sure that I tell as many people about this shady company. read more

I had a unique situation as I was relocated out of the country for my work and had to sell my 2 cars in Denver. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of scheduling meet ups, test drives, and bank transfers all while moving my entire house to another country. The guys at Dye Auto's were awesome. They took in my cars, and for a flat fee took care of all that hassle and sold them for me. They even direct deposited the money into my Denver bank, so I didn't have to deal with cashing checks overseas, etc. One hiccup happened in the process - Denver received one of it's many hailstorms. No problem, Dye Auto found a repair shop, had my car repaired in a week, back on the lot and sold. I can't imagine trying to do all this myself while living overseas. Bullshit vehicles and overpriced garbage! Bought one truck there to find out it was in an unreported front end collision and A lot of hardware needed to be replaced. Not to awful bad as I'm a mechanic so I did the work myself. On the other hand I bought a Nissan murano and it looked clean, drove nice, looked on the up and up. BUT, just 3 months of ownership the transmission goes out with only 72000 miles. Made an insurance claim to have it replaced come to find out dyes mechanic for transmissions added some good ol sawdust into the transmission! Talk about some crooked shit! Not only did they give me way less than any other dealership offered but the truck has 3500 dollars in repairs that needed done right after. It was not covered under warranty and I was told by my very reputable mechanic that this should have been caught before the truck was ever sold. When I called to ask to have them repair it I was told sorry, no can do. We can however have our mechanics who signed off on the truck in the first place do the work. No thank you. Lesson learned. The guy "Scott" drove me to a Firestone and then advanced auto parts and then helped me change my tire. I have never had someone help me the way he did and I am blown away by how nice he was. They also have several bad marks with the BBB and every repair shop in the area including several Ford dealerships know of him and what he does. He screwed us bad and knew about the issues, even their extended warranty company said they knew about the problem. His so called mechanic that works on these trucks (which i found are all from the auctions) is a towing company in a very not so nice Denver neighborhood. They will lure you in and talk a good talk then when it comes to financing the vehicle, they will do everything unethical to get you to do something you can't afford just to make the sale!!! Nick is a shister, he asked me at least 5 times if there was anyway I could come up with more of a down, I told him 5 times NOOOOOO!!!! And I asked him not to run my credit if he knew I couldn't get approved with the $3,000 down I had, he assured me that he could get me financing and that running a hard credit check wouldn't affect my credit score, after running my credit he comes back and says, well I see that you've had your credit ran with a few other dealerships, and I say yes and, then he proceeded to tell me, "I got you financed, just have to put a $6,000 down payment" after I specifically told him, I DON'T HAVE, NOR CAN I GET MORE MONEY FOR A LARGER DOWN!!!!! his crooked ass still ran my credit knowing damn good and well that he couldn't get me financed with the down payment that I had available! They somehow lowered my credit score, I knew the score he showed me was wrong because I had just seen it at another dealership and it was almost 175 points higher!!!! I seen 3 other people who were upset with their experience with this dealership's salesmen's tactics in their sales!!! if you're smart, you'll STAY AWAY!!! Also, I should mention that they're vehicles are all over priced and they specifically say, don't give me a ridiculous offer because we're not budging on that price when I asked that they discount the B.S. $DEALER HANDLING$ that all swindler dealerships charge, he told me that the charge pays their overhead!!! We recently purchased a used Subaru Outback from Dye Autos on June 3, 2016. My husband test drove the car and noticed a shake at over 70 but everything else seemed fine. The car was sold to us "as is". After leaving the dealership we took it straight to a tire shop to get the tires balanced and rotated to get rid of the shake. At this moment we were told there was a screw in my tire, they tried to fix it only to have it go flat and the next morning and us needing to purchase a new tire. Since purchasing the vehicle a month ago we have already had to replace: timing belt, water pump, radiator, thermostat and now possibly the headgaskets, over $3,000 repairs (savings to go home to visit my parents whom I haven't seen in 2 years). When we contacted Dye they told us we got "a good deal" on the vehicle. Very disappointed that they didn't look this car over better. read more

I test drove three diffetent vehicles intil i found the one for me. The financing was easy, as they work directly with my credit union. The vehicle had one problem with the brakes, which needed to be fixed. They sent me to one of their mechanics, and the problem was fixed. It did however take some haggling back and forth to get the job done correctly. But Tony went to bat for me with his Manager, and the problem was fixed in a fairly painless process.
