If you don't know this place where do you live tho haha This place has hands down the best Greek loukoumades. They used to have only a few flavours but now they have so many different toppings to anyone's liking. They also have ice cream, different types of coffee and recently they added sweet tea drinks. Most of these stores have a nice staff but they do hire alot of teenagers, and sometimes when you go they are there talking to each other not doing anything. My fave stores are the west island, Marcel Laurin and the old port location. I used to go to the Laval location and I don't anymore

This is a COVID-19 review and visit to this location of Mr Puffs, a loukoumades specialty chain found all over Montreal (and as per the articles, branching out to the USA!) when you enter, there is a hand sanitizer for you to use, and the cashier/cooking area is blocked off with a clear screen. Pretty standard stuff for COVID, though I didn't see how many people are allowed in, which meant that there were a number of people who went in, even though there were already folks inside. As a result, it wasn't very organized and you couldn't really tell where you're supposed to wait for your order, especially since there was a lot of folks already waiting. Mr Puffs have loukoumades down to a science. It always tastes delicious and fresh. All of their flavours are fantastic and they're extremely consistent (which I overheard was because they would throw any imperfect ones out - I hope the staff got to eat them and take them home afterwards though!) The hot chocolate was okay - to be honest, red velvet tasted quite artificial and sugary. The other hot chocolate we ordered (S'mores) was fantastic. Service was fine, but they seemed stressed and a bit snappy (perhaps too many orders at once?). I believe that the screen makes it a bit hard to hear so having a louder voice helps. Like I said, the only real issue was the disorganization of the number of people allowed inside. Otherwise, food was (and always is!) tasty.

Been coming to this spot ever since they opened and it never disappoints. Always fresh & tasty. The puffs are fresh (usually made on sight) with a variety of toppings you can choose from. My favorites are chocolate hazelnut, hazelnut biscotti and sugar cinnamon. Can easily eat 10 in one sitting.

Oh my gosh. Not too often or my bmi will be baaad! But it was so good ! A bit deceived coz i was told there were gonna be noisettes sprinkled on the chocolat noisette one (hazelnut). I get these delivered since covid-19 times. They were still hot and delish!!

Recently got to try mr Puffs, oh my days!!!! What a delicacy . Those crispy and crunchy balls deep fried topped with Nutella and biscotti were the best thing I've ever had in a while. I'm so glad that I tried it and don't regret the added calories as they are totally worth it!!! Loved the service as well as they are so friendly and opening. I had the ones with Nutella and I enjoyed them. I wish they were closer to Montreal though as it's quite far. I hear that they might soon be opened in mont royal but not really sure about that and that totally made me happy as then you wouldn't have to travel that far to get those yummy balls from heaven melting in your mouth! I'd recommend it to all as it's a Montreal on your to do list. :)

Backstory: I requested my boss who was traveling from Montreal to pick some up for me as recommended by a friend. Although I received it a bit cold (due to wintery weather and flight), I found them deliciously decadent. So when I had the chance to visit Montreal this weekend, it was high on the list of must-eats!!! On this 2nd visit, my friends and I decided that this goodness must be shared (okay and also eaten along the drive back to Toronto). I picked up a box of 30 puffs of hazelnut with crushed biscotti and double chocolate. The puffs were freshly strained from cooking in oil and I watched them generously drizzle the puffs with chocolate hazelnut/biscotti and drizzled with chocolate hazelnut and white chocolate sauce. I may have salivated while I watched this process. This visit alone certified a multiple visits this weekend, thank the stars Mr Puffs has many locations in Montreal!

Original Location and just still one of the best loukoumades in Laval. It's a greek dessert specialty. I've been coming here since a kid and they never disappoint. The atmosphere is so authentic here in laval you feel like you're surrounded by all the greeks in the hood. It's a social club with everyone sipping their frappes and having the special for 6.99 6louks with a coffee hehe. Food: I had to order the frappe this time was delicious and I had their new flavour (Reese's peanut butter and chose white chocolate as my second flavour boy were they so fresh and delicious) always a pleasure having louks on a cheat day! Definitely recommend and will be back again as always ! Mr puffs you rock!!

Been ordering from Mr puffs from this location for quite some time and have never been disappointed. It's a great party snack that everyone enjoys or even just as a snack for yourself/for the family! They have different sized boxes depending on how many puffs you'd want and you can choose from a range of different toppings such as nutella, nutella & white chocolate, sugar cinnamon, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, salted caramel etc. My favourite topping is the sugar cinnamon and the nutella! The puffs always come made to order so they're super fresh and fried on the outside and warm on the inside. If you're looking for a treat, give these a try!

A fellow Yelper brought me here. I came I sampled. I watched my friend inhale a small pack like a hungry hippo. If you are into doughnuts, these are like crystal meth or crack cocaine so beware (no I've never tried nor ever intend to test either). For me, I'm not a huge sweet tooth. My friend calls indulging in Mr. Puffs "happy calories". They are pretty tasty hot little crispy little puffs of sweet sugar! I ended up only eating a few and took the brunt of being called a "lightweight". That's okay, you can't let Jedi mind tricks fool you in knowing your own limits. It's all good folks. Great place to get everyone's favourite Greek pastries started coming here after a friend brought me when the location was still tiny and was the only one. If your unfamiliar with loukoumades or puffs , they go back to Ancient Greece and were known as honey tokens given to athletes as a reward for being victorious. These donut holes are all natural egg lactose and trans fat free making them a delicious dessert that won't leave you feeling bad about eating them. When ordering you can choose a variety of glazes or toppings but I always go for the salaried caramel. They also carry a variety of other Greek pastries and snacks but if your getting puffs a suggest you treat yourself to a frappe or any other coffee they offer and you won't be disappointed!

These little puff ball donuts are amazing! Crispy, crunchy, doughy balls of goodness with a wide variety of flavours like honey glazed, chocolate Nutella biscotti, and white chocolate raspberry. Also on the menu are some cold and hot drinks along with a Mr Puffs and Greek yoghurt combo. Price point is a big plus, small box of 12 for $5, box of 30 for $11, etc... 30 is easily enough to feed 3-5 people. Tip: call ahead to pre order then show up to pay and pick up!

Mr Puffs provides their patrons with fried dough balls that remind me of Greek styled Loukoumades. Their version is egg-free, dairy-free and contain no preservatives, additives and are vegan friendly.... Aron, are you reading this??? Now, I'll admit that mumbo jumbo doesn't concern me as long as the taste fulfills my needs and it certainly does!! There are a half a dozen or more varieties you can choose to coat these delicious fried dough balls such as honey, maple syrup and chocolate hazelnut (Nutella-like). They are delicious and the portions can either limited to be a snack, meal-sized or "i don't care to work today". You can even split it up to have more than one variety in a box. A bit messy but surely you can make it work?!? Prices are reasonable (the box of 30 for $10 is good for me) and the service I got was friendly and quick. Your mileage may vary as per prior Yelp reports. For me, this dessert is best enjoyed between the piping hot you get it and cold. So it makes for a great quick snack but no so much (for me at least!) as something you pick up and eat an hour later or bring it along for a get together or potluck. They also offer coffee of the cold and hot variety, something I plan to enjoy soon enough.

Mr. Puffs makes loukoumades to die for. Our Greek friends love this place (and in fact, they were the ones who recommended it to us!) Everything is made to order, too, so the doughnuts are piping hot off the (gulp) deep fryer when they're smothered in cinnamon and honey. Not only that, but they are eggfree, so my egg-allergic son was able to eat them. And obviously, the nutella puffs were pretty dang amazing, too. Whenever I'm in the area, you can bet I'm going to be ordering a box of 30 ($10) and going to town.
