This place is know for stretchy ice cream, I first heard of it on Instagram and knew I had to try it during my trip to Montreal. There's two locations and we went right around closing but the line was out the door! I got the pistachio and chocolate flavours and my friend for the pistachio with pistachio crumble on top Both we Absolutely delicious, I was playing more with my ice cream to get that pull and it didn't disappoint! They have a wide range of flavours as well as sorbets. Definitely check out this place next time you're in Montreal!

I've been wanting to try this place for a little while since they use a special technique to make their ice cream. I tried the ashta flavor, which is their most popular one and thought it was good. The first few bites were delicious, especially that the top was covered with bits of pistachios. But I soon got tired of the taste. If I come back, I will try another flavor. I do, however, recommend trying the ashta flavor at least once! It's not one that were used to.

Apparently we are not the only ones to love the very fresh natural ingredients, original flavoured,  uniquely textured ice cream that hits all the right the spots at @bouzamtl on a hot day Get it dipped in pistachio because... Well why not?

Woahh who knew I was gonna have ice cream in the middle of winter season Well let me tell you if you're going to have ice cream now.. you gotta try this place out it's super authentic and rich in flavour. (It's authentic Syrian Ice cream .. until today I had no idea that Bouza means Ice cream in Arabic and Arabic ice cream has a similar consistency to mozzarella cheese. It is produced through a process of pounding and stretching in a freezer drum, instead of the more usual churning method used in other ice creams.) Sounds delicious! Atmosphere: Very Minimalistic and chic! It's clean and simple very straightforward the way I like it. Parking: Super easy .. it's in a strip mall with lots of free parking Service: Wonderful 5 Stars! The gentleman was very nice and friendly he helped me chose by having me try all the flavours first. I went with a mixture of ashta (Their most popular flavour) and chocolate. He let me mix the 2 and provided a wonderful experience Ice Cream: 5++++++++ The ashta Flavour was very unique and different! I was not expecting to taste what I tasted.. it was shockingly so simple and unique in flavour. I loved it! The consistency was gummy and cool it felt rich as soon as I brought it to my car .. I expected it to melt everywhere but to my surprise it was sticky and barely melted ... it was rich in a milk base flavour .. I mixed it with the chocolate Ice cream and I had it coated with Pistachios mmm .. deeeelish Cost: for about 5oz of awesomeness It costed around 7$ ... but it was rich and definitely worth the price! It's a very unique flavour and I'm glad I tried it! Overall: I definitely recommend this place for Syrian Ice cream it's really good and will be back for sure!

FIVE FIVE FIVE FIVE FIVE Stars!!!!! WOW, Ya Salam!!! What an amazing ice cream, just thinking about it makes me happy and emotional at the same time. It was made the way my parents used to tell me it is made in Syria. I felt so happy to see my Dad admiring the owner making the ice cream the way my dad used to see it over 50 years ago in Syria. The taste is out of this world, believe me!!! It's a creamy and almost sticky (like a gum) kind of ice cream. They have many flavors at this spotless shop. A MUST RY WHEN COMING TO LAVAL, CANADA!!!!!

Booza, is Arabic ice cream originated in Syria which is hand made, milk based that has a stretchy gooey texture to it as result of pounding and stretching it. It's prepared in a freezer drum. If your timing is right like my first visit here, you could see the ice cream being prepared at the counter inside that drum. From the looks of it, it's a labour intensive process. They offer 9-10 flavours to choose from but my top pick is the obvious ashta which is THE classical mastic flavoured one. It's worth mentioning here that they sell this one as rolls also that's encrusted with crushed pistachios. $40 plus tax, I'm planning to get that for an upcoming birthday. Must be ordered a few hours ahead or a day before to be on the safe side. My second choice here would be the crushed almond. As for the rest of the flavours which you can sample, I found them to be average. My only gripe with this place is the high price. Took home two flavours, each weighing one pound only at $40 with tax price tag. Although the ice cream is of good quality and taste, the high price could be a turn off for some.

We are here in Montréal on a trip, and found out about this place on Instagram. It is worth every single great review. The taste is so authentic and unique and the whole place has a great ambiance.

The person who served us was friendly and polite. If you aren't familiar with their setup (or your French isn't great) this can be a confusing menu. Basically there are a LOT of flavor choices for the soft serve but only 3 soft serve machines. How do they do it? They all start with a plain ice cream or yogurt base then they take that and mix in flavor additives using a unique mixing press machine that I'd never seen before. There are also sundaes and some other treat types available. I had a brownie sundae. The soft serve itself was good. The brownie bites were really industrial, hard and bland. The hot fudge was the standard issue sort of fake tasting mystery substance that hot fudge always is. If I had known it was going to be hot fudge (and had the language skills necessary) I would have asked if they had a chocolate syrup (the thinner non fudge type you might use when making chocolate milk at home) instead. The caramel sundae my partner had was well liked.

I ordered a small orange and blueberry swirl in a cone that was rather huge in my opinion and it was phenomenal. The mix seemed weird at first because who would have thought to have blueberry and orange together? Not me. But it was pleasantly good and it's worth every penny. I would say that I am very very picky with my sweets, mainly because I don't have a sweet tooth AT ALL (I never ever eat chocolate or desserts ; yes, judge me) so for me to actually like and finish a whole ice cream cone is something that happens once or twice in a lifetime (for real.) And that is exactly what happened when I went to Crémerie Pineault ; loved it, finished the whole thing and would definitely come back.
