    Lundon G.

The food was delicious and served with greatness. I will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again. The pastrami potato was the best and the steak fries were also good! The service of delivery was decent and the food arrived hot! It was definitely good and I can't wait to try something new!

I made my way over here after shopping and looking for something quick and good. I drove past here a few times and finally fell thru. The service was cool. They were patient. The potato is not for the weak! Portions are huge and I loved every bite lol I'll be back next week lol

Ordered the Philly steak fries and they were flavorful and down right beautiful. Big enough to share but I definitely wanted to eat them all myself! The gentleman at the register (possibly the owner?) let me know to keep the lid loose as to not crush the ingredients on top and keep the fries crispy. But the way they tasted, if they did get soggy, they'd still be so good. Can't wait to try more items next time!

Teriyaki chicken potato. Flavor good but couldn't find the chicken

Hmm taste is there but the portion of meat could use a little pumping up. I will go back but maybe ask for double meat. Got the teriyaki chicken baked potato and cheesesteak but couldn't find the chicken

Broccoli and cheese loaded potato. So loaded you can't even see the potato at the bottom!

I stopped by here while in Hawthorne for lunch. Definitely the place you need to go if you want a bomb baked potato. They have many options for the loaded, including, broccoli and cheese for my vegetarians! My food was made quick, hot and delicious ! The service was also great. He was very nice.

Plenty of parking on the plaza…read more Came on a weekday night during Happy Hour. Place was packed. Ambiance was nice. Music was extremely loud, had to yell to have a conversation. Waiters kept checking on us. Got the mild Buffalo Wings for $14 and Parmesan Fries for $6. The wings were good. The Parmesan Fries were really good, they didn't skimped on the Parmesan. Both dishes were small and came with ranch sauce. Got place to watch the games with friends. Not the place to have a conversation. Happy Hour was Monday to Friday from 4pm to 7pm and 10pm to closing at midnight. Karaoke night was Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10pm to closing at midnight.

I had business in the same shopping center and decided to drop in for lunch…read more Torrance Tavern is restaurant bar located in a shopping center. Needless to say, there is plenty of parking. The interior is neat and clean. There are various types of seating (bar; table; booth; high-tops; communal), and plenty of screens to watch sports. On this occasion, I ordered the Tavern Fish & Chips ($22). It is described as "Alaskan cod coated in a tempura beer batter and served with French fries, tartar sauce and yuzu herb coleslaw". The positives of this dish are that it was prepared well. Both the fish and chips tasted good. The presentation was also nice; which leads to the coleslaw: The coleslaw tasted good, too; but I was surprised the serving was so spare. It's almost as if it was served just to optically balance the presentation in the basket. (See photo shared,) And while the price was not unreasonable, feel it's creeping towards expensive (relative to serving size). I'll attribute this to rising input costs. Staffing might be an issue during the lunchtime service. Service was okay, but they seemed to be understaffed. It's possible that most of their business is done after 5pm.

I've driven by this old school staple in Torrance 100s of times....and for the first time ever we…read morebooked to eat here for my friends birthday.... Known as a steakhouse the prime ribs looked really mouth watering...even for myself who doesn't eat meat....I had the Salmon Filet and it was actually cooked really well and I would definitely get it again.... Service was pretty good even though the place as busy they were able to help us out the majority of the time.... Everything came out good for the whole party and no complaints about the food at all... The restaurant itself is old and the inside shows it....but that is part of the classic ambiance at the restaurant.... It is difficult to maneuver through and they utilized the space inside very well...I thought it was a small restaurant looking a it from the outside but it actually can hold a good amount of people. Maybe get better bread knives is my only complaint....it was hard to cut the sourdough easily with the knives given.... Definitely recommend this place to anybody who likes steak/prime rib/even salmon.... By the way I passed it on the first drive by because the parking entrance is just before the restaurant and 1 way meaning if a car is coming out you can't fit another car to come in....but if you go around the residential area you can pull in from the side street before going back on Sepulveda...

2026 San Franciscan…read moreis still my go to spot for Prime Rib. It's not a lame roast beef that many restaurants play off as prime rib. This is basically a high quality oven roasted rib eye steak. If you crave Prime Rib, what makes this a good meal is it comes with bread, soup and a baked potato and the cut comes in 3 sizes to choose from. The service is friendly and fast and this is family styled, no dress code nor any frills of ambiance. It's like a bar lounge with karaoke in the front and formal (casual) dining in the back Parking is easy, but remember this... If driving down Sepulveda and the Sam Franciscan is going to be on your right side... then the parking lot you want to pull into is on your right side BEFORE the San Franciscan yellow sign. If you pass it and pull into the next lot, it locks you in and does not connect to the restaurant and you'll then need to turn around pull out then get back onto Sepulveda, turn right onto Crenshaw and then reach the San Franciscan parking lot from the back or if confused you get back onto Sepulveda from there and try to park again and not miss the correct parking position of their parking lot.

Great food and Great people!…read more I wish I took more photos, but the food was awesome! I got the chili tamale, and it was VERY YUMMY. Comfort food to the max! I'll probably order one next time I come. Mother got the salmon bento, she ate ALL the salmon. She never finishes her meals, so this says a lot! The service was the best. All smiles and good times! Ambiance was cozy, welcoming, and nostalgic to restaurants I've been to in Hawaii! Love the vibes. I'll be back soon, thanks Cherrystones!

This was my 1st time at Cherrystones though I've had friends rent it out for their birthday celebrations in the past and I always heard good things. Starters or pupus for the guests were their famous chili, rice optional and also fried wontons & island fried chicken. I had the latter 2 and they were good. I love me some ginger fried chicken so that was good and the fried wontons were also good with some sweet & sour sauce. This was served buffet style, inside. The main dinner consisted of a buffet table in the back patio with many food choices. They were Hawaiian chicken salad, jap chae noodles, green bean salad, kalbi, panko breaded fish, teri chicken & kalua pork. I had most of the offerings and they were good. Some of the kalbi was undercooked so some at our table didnt indulge in that. Understandable. Service was good. Our drinks were refilled, place settings taken away when we were done and the 2 ladies that were serving checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed. We appreciated that. The servers were great. There are mostly booths and some tables inside. And there is more tables outside that can handle the longer tables. A handful of parking spots in their private lot or street parking is available. Street parking is free.
