Wow! I don't understand the past reviews. I really enjoyed the food here. I went yesterday and got the turkey taco and beef taco and turkey burger with fries and a drink. My total was around 20 something. Very affordable. My tacos were fire! Nicely seasoned and fresh with loads of lettuce, onions, and tomatoes. The cheese helped bring it all together. My burger was extraordinary. They told me about their specials on Tuesdays, and I went back the next day to get more Turkey and Beef tacos amd.I tried the pastrami taco. On Tuesdays, tacos are 2 dollars! Tacos hit the spot again. I wasn't a fan of the pastrami because I'm particular about my pastrami, but my dog LOVED the pastrami pieces. I can only speak for the turkey burger as that is the only thing I have had from this establishment. I will say the turkey burger was one of the best I have had in LA. I cannot speak for the rest of the food, but eventually, I will go back and try other foods that are on the menu. read more

I got a single shack burger with everything on it (including grilled onions) and a turkey taco. If you were wondering, yes, its a 'black people' taco. The chili here is had the pastrami chili cheese fries and a single smash burger. Lots of options on the menu. The burger was good, tasted homemade more so than a smash burger but still good. I'd definitely order some of the chili items next time I visit. read more

Did not like it here at all. No options (unless you eat a burger) for a healthy choice. They only offer a fried non burger, which was awful. Decided to visit this place after seeing it on LA Try Guy. Was very excited to try, but was ultimately disappointed to say the least. When we got there, the girl at the register who took our order was very dry and unpleasant. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 orders of fries and 2 tacos. Maybe because of all the mustard and ketchup, but the bread reminded me of the cheap 99cent store bread. The flavor of the meat was good but I could have done better with getting a Double Cheeseburger from McDonalds. The hard shell tacos: They were better. They give you a lot of meat, but hardly anything else on the tacos. Hardly NO cheese, onion and cilantro. Y'all know we at least like a lot of cheese on the tacos! At least make the food look like you make it look on the Instagram posts. That's what I expected, but this place fell wayyyyyy short. I ordered 2 beef smash burgers with everything on it, 1 Beef Hardshell taco and One Turkey hardshell taco. The smash burger was amazing literally so good!!!! The beef taco was my least favorite the consistency of the meat reminded me a bit of Jack in the box...the turkey taco was so flavorful and juicy definitely will order again.
