Went out to do some evening watering, and the hose bib right above my house shutoff valve breaks off in my hand! Called Mr. Plumber around 5:45, and he shows up about 20 mins later. He had to leave to get some parts, and it was getting dark when he returned. He came back the next morning at 7am and got the job done in a couple of hours. read more

Mr. Plumber - New hose bib and house shutoff valve. - Plumbing Near Me - Rohnert Park, California

Rick answered the phone on a Saturday and was able to come out to help us access the solution to a leaking water line that caused the city to shut down the water to the house. The leak was at the connection at the meter so we had no idea there was a leak since the interior of our house and our yard was dry. Rick was very knowledgeable and offered the best and easiest solution. It seems that, unfortunately, we have the old blue polybutylene pipes that are notorious for rupturing and all of the pipes out in front of the house should be replaced. A trench will need to be dug from the water meter at the sidewalk, through our yard (and our neighbors's yard), to the main valve at the house. It is a lot of work and very expensive so we will need to access the costs. On a tight budget, only a portion could be fixed, but that is only kicking the can down the road for problems in the future. I really appreciate Rick's knowledge, honesty, expertise, and responsiveness. It is extremely important to have that when you're dealing with any emergencies such as water shut offs. read more

Wow. What can I say. I had two leaky manufactured home faucets and did not know what to do. Manufactured home are very different regular homes. I call Rich and he answered the phone. Within a half of an hour he was at my home looking the the problem. He fixed it that day and at a fair price. I would highly recommend Rick for any plumbing job !!! And he was a nice guy. read more

Beware. Rip off He charged 100.00 to say he could not fix the problem. He said he wouldn't know where to get the part. I called Culligan and he said the part was from ace hardware and a plastic insert was worn out plus he up dated the configuration of connectors. Mr plumber didn't know how. He said he has 30 years experience. The other guy fixed it in a half hour. read more

I called to have a tub unclogged. He seemed a tad confused as to how to get to my house while I explained for 10 minutes that it is just 1 mile past Safari West on Porter Creek Rd. He made an appointment to come to our house in the afternoon. Then 30 minutes later he called back saying he was just 1 person and he gave me someone else's spot and he had to cancel with us. He didn't try to reschedule. Really a weird phone call... odd man We called Prados... The lady on the phone was sharp and made an appointment without a half hour discussion about where I live. read more

Rick, from Mr Plumber was on time, professional, and a nice man to boot. My mother had a leak in an old outdoor pipe and he came out on short notice and did a nice job fixing it. His bill was as quoted, and he was very efficient. Highly recommended. read more

I highly recommend Sonoma County Plumbers "Mr Plumber" A family owned business with decades of experience. The employees are friendly and professional. I prefer to support locally owned business's that have good ol' honest work ethics behind them. I know they will give free quotes, unlike a lot of other corporately owned plumbers out there. I have many friends in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, and Marin County that I would certainly recommend them to. Their website www.plumbingsonomacounty.com Sincerely, Rich read more

Mr. Plumber represented by Richard, came to house after I had made two phone calls earlier explaining my problem during which he never said he had a $100.00 estimate fee. He said he could fix it for about $100.00. He arrived on time at 5:00 p.m. and looked at the job, charged me $100 with a quote of $495.00 to do the work and promptly wrote a bill for $100.00 at 5:07 p.m. much to my incredibility. When questioned about the outrageous price and the fact he could not fix it and the $100 did not go toward the repair bill, he left after calmly saying he did not deceive me. I call this deception and I know of no person that makes $100 for 5 minutes. I would definitely not recommend this business to anyone who is looking for scrupulous business "professionals." tchrlrnr read more

Called to confirm appointment for estimate, said he wasn't interested anymore then hung up on me.

Don't use Mr. Plumber. He charged us $100 for an inspection, got a quote going, started the process of getting a permit, and then backed out because he decided he didn't want to do the job. Unless you have an emergency, and he's the only available plumber, don't waste your time with him. read more

Rick the owner of Mr. Plumber is a very upfront and professional plumber. He's affordable, timely and very considerate. The two times he's done work for me he's been very fair, and did a great job. Thanks Mr. Plumber! read more

My tenant called on a Saturday saying there's backup sewage in the tub and shower- EW!! I ask her to call a local plumber and keep me updated. The first company-Mr. Rooter gave us a quote but we thought it was a little high (see my review on Mr. Rooter). So we yelp for plumbers and found Mr. Plumber. They didn't call us 'till Monday, but was able to get the job done by Tuesday at a lower price. I would have given them a 5 star if the plumber didn't make my husband feel bad about paying him with credit card (which they say they accept on Yelp). I am sure we all have financial issues, but you shouldn't make other people pay for your problems. In fact, my husband felt so bad that he won't even ask for the $50 coupon offered on Yelp! Of course we didn't have the checkbook with us and we live in the city, so my husband had to withdraw from the ATM machine and borrow the rest from our neighbor! read more

Rick was very nice, but mr. Plumber is lacking communication through their employees. I didn't like that I explained my problem to 1 plumber & got to know him on the 1st initial estimate visit. He quoted me 3-4 hours & $400; then some one else (Rick) showed up to do the work a few days later. I was very confused when I answered the door. I felt something fishy was going on. I confronted Rick & he assured me everything was ok. Rick looked at the problem & fixed the problem in less than 1 hour. Rick confirmed the leak was fixed and answered all my questions thoroughly. Even though the communication wasn't what I was expecting, the PLUMBING sure was and I was glad to save A LOT OF $MONEY$. Thank you Rick. YOU guys solved my plumbing issue! :-D read more

I just experienced one of the least stressful home fixes of my home-owning life. Rick from Mr. Plumber -- but he didn't answer the phone number listed as "Mr. Plumber" only as "Hello" -- was quick (job done the same day I called), very affordable, honest, pleasant and cordial. I couldn't have asked for a better experience with a plumber. He also recommended an electrician whom I will definitely call on if he's as good as Rick. I will absolutely be using him again when we redo our bathroom. read more

I'm very happy with my experience with Rick of Mr. Plumber. He was very responsive and picked up the phone when I called. He had same day availability for my work. The main sewer line to my house was clogged and he fixed it with no problem. He gave me an accurate quote over the phone and it was very reasonable. I will recommend him anytime. read more

We called with a backed up drain on Christmas Eve. He came out within an hour, correctly (and simply) diagnosed the problem - which turned out to be fairly simple, and fixed it! He talked with us about why it happened and what we can do to prevent it in the future. (By the way, don't just put anything down your kitchen disposal!) His sense of humor was great, and he didn't chastise us for the reason for the clog. His price was excellent - I would highly recommend Mr. Plumber!! read more

Outstanding company!! Quick on the response, efficient work and very reasonable pricing! I'm beyond happy I made the call when our water heater in line sprung a little leak! Thanks fellas! read more

Good service and on time. Rick was friendly and professional. They lose one star for quoting me the Yelper discount price without telling me it was discounted (I mentioned Yelp on the phone but they didn't specify I was getting the discount). The important point, however, is that I got a commode replaced faster and cheaper than I'd get from any big box store. These are now my go-to guys for plumbing problems!!! read more

Great service. On time, good price, and efficient. Toilet replacement cost half what my neighbor's cost for the same toilet. Only complaint - he parked in front of my garbage cans and my pickup got skipped. read more

He did a great job blasting my drain pipe with his hi-pressure hose. Did all the work from the back entrance, so no mess inside! Turns out Mr. Plumber is not his real name, or else he'd get 5 stars. Overall good value, I was satisfied! read more

This was our first experience hiring someone to do extensive plumbing work. We needed a new floor, a shower and a toilet put in our mobile home due to water damage. We were very nervous after reading stories of a contractor taking advantage of seniors in Sonoma County in mobile home parks. Although the phone communication was a bit rough, (Jim said they are working on that!) when it came to doing what he said, and being clear about costs and any issues that came up they were great. I would highly recommend this company. Jim did a great job, showed up when he said he would and explained everything along the way. I would call them first for any mobile home plumbing work for sure! read more

My wife and I had an emergency situation going on in our upstairs bathroom. Rick not only responded quickly, but managed to resolve the problem very efficiently and in a timely fashion. I really appreciated how attentive he was. We would not hesitate to use Mr. Plumber again. read more

Rude and unprofessional. - Changed appointment time 2 times on me - no bid deal I guess as I had a free day. Annoying nevertheless. - Refused to tell me his hourly rate - that bugged me, but I suppose everyone has their own business strategy. - Gave me a $530 dollar quote for repair which seemed very high. I let him know that, and told him that I will consider it, but also told him that I am considering other plumbers that charge as low as $55 per hour (but unable to do the work immediately dew to their work load). He laughed at me, telling me that no decent plumber would ever charge that rate, and charged me a $50 service charge fee, which I paid without any hesitation . When I asked him to give me a breakdown of parts and labor cost for my reference, he refused! I told him that it would be fair to give me a breakdown if he charges me a fee (maybe I am wrong here). He grabs my cash, leaves the house without saying good bye and slamming the door. While all my other complains could perhaps be questioned, such rudeness is absolutely unacceptable. (in a week I got everything repaired by a different licensed plumber for half the price...) read more

I worked with Rick at Mr. Plumber to replace a water heater at a 4 plex I own in Santa Rosa. He gave me the least expensive price and was able to get it done fairly quickly. Then, about 7 months later the water heater began to fail. He went and checked it out and found out someone had stuck a rag into the vent which had disrupted the electronics. He worked the manufacturer's support and was able to get it fixed and did not even charge me. Great experience read more

Best plumbing experience I've ever had. He fixed my garbage disposal in 5 minutes and then didn't charge me for coming out bc it was such an easy fix. Mr. Plumber isn't just a good plumber, he's a good human being. He was quick, punctual, and kind. read more

do not use mr. plumber, work is not done when promised. this was a modular remodel took 60 days longer than promised. not a reliable person. he said he would be here each day to work. no show, no phone call saying why no one would be there today to work. work was not be completed on time . he said he has "never done such a large remodel. kitchen remodled, bathroom remodeled & enlarged. closed sliding glass door & and made a wall in the space. old cabinets were taken out & new ones put in. he was not able to do this so hired a subcontractor to do this work. wanted money in between the 3 agreed payment schedule. i will never recommend anyone to use this company. read more
