Large pepperoni and xtra cheese well done!
    Chris J.

Awesome spot in Richmond! My go to for pick up pizza. Large 2 topping deal for $24 is what I always get. Pepperoni and xtra cheese. Guys are always friendly and the sleepy canine mascot always makes me laugh!

The saddest piece of pizza I ever had this is supposed to be extra cheese

We have been buying pizzas for years. Love it. Recommend the Monster special for when you're on a budget.

The La Mexicana pizza is off the hook...a lil sloppy cus of the pinto beans but it's still bomb..I usually get it in a calzone, grubbin.....

Really greasy but my buddy loves it. I don't like. Pasta tasted like it was cooked with lard

I recently found myself looking for a special place to celebrate my mother's birthday and I found…read moreit at Biancoverde at Hotel Mac. Booking the place was pretty easy, just called them up and they were able to get us a reservation for a table of 6 on a Sunday evening. Upon arrival,I was kinda blown away by the decor, holiday themed with a gentleman playing the piano and a lively crowd sitting at the bar-I for sure felt like I picked the right place for my mothers special birthday celebration. We started out our meal with complimentary bread service, which was delicious and 2 starters, the meatballs($17.95) and the potato wedges($15.95)-they had fancy names but basically that's what they were. The meatballs were so great,I really enjoyed their texture and flavor. The wedges were very solid but what made them standout was this truffle aioli sauce they were served with-outstanding-I need this recipe somehow. We went with a few main dishes-Penne alla Vodka($31.50) which was very good, featuring Salmon and vodka sauce-the Salmon was so tasty it melted like butter on every bite.We also went with the Tortellini($29.25) dish which featured pork filled pasta in carbonara sauce with prosciutto-It was pretty good, especially when u got the bite just right with the tortellini and the tasty pieces of prosciutto-very yumz for sure!...In my opinion, the star of the night was my dish-I ordered Lasagne di Manzo($28.95)-which was a lasagna featuring ground beef and lots of cheese covered in Napolitana sauce-man oh man it was delicious, every bite was super tasty and not sure if it was the sauce that made the difference but the sauce gave the entree a very light feel, after eating that dish I felt light still,a feeling I only have ever gotten when eating pasta when I was in Rome-so it was a great dining experience without a doubt. In closing I would definitely recommend this restaurant if your looking for a place to share a slightly upscale dining experience where time is not a concern,a place that took me back to the casual nights I spent in Rome enjoying 2 hour+ dinner experiences filled with conversation and great company eating flawless foods-I will for sure come back to this amazing hidden gem of a spot! PS....Almost forgot-the crème brulee($12) and cappuccino($6) we had after dinner were exquisite-gave me all the pep I needed for the long drive home to Sacramento after this meal.....Be Kind out there.

And the birthday eating continues... I've got two more celebrations after this lol…read more We went to Hotel Mac and dined at their restaurant, Biancoverde--Italian cuisine. The server was super nice and everything came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. I ordered the cioppino, and my family went with lasagna, linguine, and pescatore. We also shared some calamari to start. Overall? Really good in my book. Flavors were on point and everyone enjoyed their dishes. It is a bit on the pricier side, but honestly no complaints still a great experience all around.

When maps directed me to here, I was shocked. Stepped in there was 1 party so I said great its not busy. As we took a seat, I kept hearing the online ordering beeps while the nice young man was there checking them. Alan came around and handed us menus and since my little one is into chicken or country fried steak, its the first thing I asked him when he greeted us. Ordered the food and observed hes the only o ne cleaning tables, greeting, processing the online orders and waiting. Hes truly a star and is great at what he does. Food is fresh and delicious. Did not disappoint. Kudos to Alan

We've lived in Hercules for over 30 years and are creatures of habit, so it was nice to venture the 10-minute drive to San Pablo. We were not impressed by the exterior strip mall building, but the interior of Mely's is very cute, homey, and clean. (I even peeked into the kitchen since the door was open.) I wanted pancakes, but got waffles instead since W ordered the blueberry buttermilk stack. We both had a side of eggs, his scrambled and mine sunny side up. The eggs were delish; mine in particular was perfectly cooked with slightly crunchy edges, a beautiful, silky, runny yolk, and no uncooked whites. The blueberry pancakes are so good! Of course they are huge and I ate some of them in addition to my waffle. We could have split just the pancakes and been perfectly happy. They cook berries inside the homemade batter and top them with a house-made blueberry compote. Maple syrup and soft butter on the side. The waffles are crispy outside with a light, airy, center, dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon. I had strawberries on the side (+$5 !!). Since I ate some of W's pancakes, we took half the waffles home. W had a drip coffee--no decalf available so I had the fresh-squeezed OJ. It was a large glass so I took half of that home, too. The coffee was nothing to rave about, but it was coffee. Service was friendly and efficient--there is only one cook and one server, and it seems several of us arrived at the same time on this Sunday morning. Overall a wonderful find that we will return to so we can explore more dishes. We saw omelets and Benedict's come out that looked amazing! Plus, I want to try the dinner menu, which also looked pretty amazing.
